Lauren: (V.O.) When Audrina, Lo and I moved into our new house…

Lauren: Are you gonna be okay staying back here?

Audrina: Yeah I like that it’s private.

Lo: Oh good. I’m glad you like it.

Lauren: (V.O.) I realized the new space was creating distance between me and Audrina.

Lauren: Yeah they kinda hang out in the back house a lot.

Stephen: Do you go back there at all or she…she…not allowed?

Lauren: I don’t think we’re allowed back there.

Lauren: (V.O.) Heidi had had it with Spencer

Heidi: I wanted space! I wanted some space.

Spencer: Well you got your space.

Lauren: (V.O.) And she was ready to take control of the rest of her life.

CUT TO:
Bolthouse Productions

Heidi walks to Brent’s office and knocks on his door.

Brent: Hey.

Heidi: Hey. (Shuts the door)

Brent: How’s it going?

Heidi: Good how are you?

Brent: I’m a little crazy but…

Heidi: Yeah. (She sits down)

Brent: In a good way.

Heidi: That’s good. The reason I’m here is I know that you guys have been expanding everywhere and you know every part of the country and I want to be a part of this company as much as I can so I would love to get my hands in there, make myself as available to you as much as I can.

Brent: Great.

Heidi: Especially if that means traveling or relocating.

Brent: Great I mean it’s gonna take big commitment. Over the last three or four months, it’s gotten so much crazier and there’s so many other projects happening. And what Sam and I want to do is expand the Hyde brand. So that we can take Hyde into other markets. So what that means is we’re working much more integrally with the team of people here. And we’re all working at a daunting pace. And that you are gonna have to be more actively involved in the things I’m working on. Say one of your jobs could be the casino in Las Vegas.

Heidi: Sounds brilliant. I mean I’m so excited and I’m up for the challenge.

Lauren, Audrina & Lo’s House

Lauren and Lo are lying by the pool.

Lo: It’s such a nice day.

Lauren: I know.

Lo: Where’s Audrina?

Lauren: Um, I believe she’s in her room slash chateau.

Lo: Cool.

Lauren: I’d invite her to lay out but I didn’t want to wake her if she’s sleeping.

Lo: Yeah. Let her come out on her own time. (Just then Audrina walks outside) Let’s do something fun today.

Lauren: I’m down. Let’s go shopping.

Lo: (Audrina walks near them) Audrina?

Audrina: Hi.

Lo: Hi. How are you?

Audrina: You can barely hear me in my boots. 

Lo: What are you doing?

Audrina: I’m going to work with Alkaline Trio today, this band.

Lauren: Oh really?

Lo: Oh cool so you’re like going to work?

Audrina: Yeah they’re in the studio recording their new album so Chiara and I get to go down there and hang out.

Lauren: Are you working or are you just hanging?

Audrina: We’re just going to see, like everything’s taken care of and like you know, it’s going smoothly. So I’m gonna go meet her and then head over. But I was gonna see if you guys want to stop by.

Lauren: The studio?

Audrina: You could come and check it out and maybe you’ll like the song.

Lauren: (To Lo) We could be groupies for the day. (Lo doesn’t look too excited about it) Text me the address and we’ll go stop by later.

Audrina: Yeah if you guys wanna stop by…I’m gonna go finish getting ready.

Lauren: Well we can all do dinner afterwards.

Audrina: Okay.

Lauren: ‘Cause we haven’t really celebrated roommateness. (Lauren laughs)

Audrina: I know. Okay.

Lauren: Okay. (Audrina gets up)

Audrina: Well I’ll text you the address

Lauren: Okay.

Audrina:  I’m gonna go finish getting ready.

Lauren: Okay have fun at work.

Lo: Bye. (Audrina leaves) That could be fun.

Lo: Oh…all I wanna do is shop.

Lauren: (Laughs) What else is new?

CUT TO:
Bolthouse Offices

Heidi just left Brent’s office and walks over to Kim’s cubicle.

Heidi: Hey.

Kim: Hey. (Heidi sits on the desk)

Heidi: I just got out of Brent’s office. (Kim turns around to face Heidi)  So I think he wants me to be Project Manager. You know like…

Kim: Really?

Heidi: Helping like open up all the Hydes and stuff…

Kim: Oh.

Heidi: And like working on more of like the hotels and…

Kim: Fun…yeah. 

Heidi: I’d be going to Vegas coming up, there’s like this whole trip he was talking about.

Kim: So when is all that happening?

Heidi: In a couple days. So I’m excited.

Kim: Cool.

Heidi: Though like…

Kim: Yeah I’m excited for you.

Heidi: Just get out of here, you know, clear my head…

Kim: What’s Spencer gonna say?

Heidi: I don’t care.

CUT TO:
Pulse Studios

Alkaline Trio is recording as Audrina and Chiara watch from the booth.

Guy: Can we try this again? Y’all ready? (The band starts playing)

Chiara: He’s got a good voice.

Audrina: I really love his voice.

Chiara: Yeah. It’s a really good voice. (Audrina’s phone rings so she takes it out and answers it)

Audrina: Hello?

Lauren: Hey Lo and I just got here. Um, can we just walk in?

Audrina: Yeah come on in. (The door opens and Lauren and Lo walk in and Audrina and Lauren hang up their phones. Chiara waves to them as they approach Audrina and Chiara and all four girls watch the band)

Lauren: This is cool.

Audrina: It is. I’m glad you guys could make it.

Guy: What do you guys think? Sound good huh?

Lo: Yeah. You don’t mind if I like flip a few switches? (Lo and Lauren laugh)

Audrina: So you guys like them?

Lauren: Yeah. (Lo texts on her phone, obviously not very into being there which Audrina notices)

Lo: It’s good. I’m hungry.

Lauren: Do you wanna go get something to eat?

Lo: Yeah.

Lauren: Okay. (To Audrina) We’re gonna go get sushi.

Audrina: You’re leaving?

Lauren: Yeah. Can you come with us?

Audrina: I need to stay till they’re done.

Lo: Oh okay.

Lauren: Ready?

Lo: Yeah ready. Thanks guys.

Lauren: Bye.

Lo: For letting us stop by.

Audrina & Chiara: Bye.

Lo: (To the band) You guys are great. Bye. (Lo and Lauren leave)

Chiara: That’s rude that they left. They were here for five seconds. (Audrina does look upset that they left so quickly then it cuts to Lo and Lauren walking to the car)

Lauren I wish she would’ve come with us.

Lo: I know.

Lauren: We haven’t had like a roommate dinner yet, you know?

Lo: We’ll just bring her some food home. (They open the doors and get in the car then it cuts to Audrina. She’s into the music but you can tell she is probably thinking about what just happened with Lauren and Lo.)

CUT TO:
That Night – LuckyFish

Lauren and Lo are sit down at a table as plates of sushi go by them on a convere belt.

Lo: Here comes sushi.

Lauren: I don’t know what it all is though. (They watch it all go by them and laugh)

Lo: I don’t know but this is really fun. (She laughs)

Lauren: Wait this one for sure looks good. (She grabs one) Hehe…I think Audrina wanted us to stay the entire time.

Lo: I’m just not cool enough to like hang with bands.

Lauren: I just feel bad. We should get Audrina a present for her little back house. We should get her a chateau Audrina, get a little sign.

Lo: Yeah.

Lauren: I hope she doesn’t like just stay back there. I feel like it might be a little bit different now that you live in there because sometimes it’s like pulling teeth, trying to get her to like talk about stuff, whereas you are like one of the first people I call so…

Lo: It’s a different item because we’ve been best friends since we were little.

Lauren: I know.

Lo: Oh well. This is yummy soup. (Drinks soup from a bowl as Lauren sits there, kind of looking upset)

CUT TO:
The Next Day – Heidi’s Apartment

Heidi is in the kitchen when someone knocks at the door. She opens it and it is Stephanie.

Heidi: Hello!

Stephanie: Hello!

Heidi: Come in.

Stephanie: Thank you. (Stephanie comes in and Heidi shuts the door behind her)

Heidi: How are you?

Stephanie: I’m…Oh my god. Is this the same apartment? (Heidi goes back into the kitchen area)

Heidi: Yes I’m just cleaning a little bit. It’s such a mess. (Stephanie sits on the couch)

Stephanie: Not as messy as my place.

Heidi: Yeah? How is it?

Stephanie: A nightmare! He’s gotta move out somewhere.

Heidi: I guess he’s gonna be homeless. (Stephanie laughs) Um…I got um, a really big job opportunity. I’m going to be traveling a lot.

Stephanie: You’re lying.

Heidi: No so I’m gonna be traveling with like Brent and with Sam to like Hydes and…

Stephanie: Who’s Sam? Is he hot?

Heidi: He owns SBE like when they merged together…

Stephanie: And you’re working with them?

Heidi: Yeah it’s like project manager. And they bought a hotel in Vegas. So I’m gonna go there and you know, just be in Vegas for a while and it’s good because I just need to kinda like clear my head and you know forget…

Stephanie: In Vegas? In Sin City? That’s where you’re gonna clear your head?

Heidi: There’s nothing really holding me back.

Stephanie: I cannot believe you’re saying this right now.

Heidi: If he’s gonna move on, I gotta move on.

Stephanie: But do you guys really want this? Like I would never…

Heidi: I just didn’t imagine it going like this.

Stephanie: I know deep down he doesn’t want to date anyone else. You guys are perfect for each other.

Heidi: I don’t know.

Stephanie: I cannot believe this. You’re leaving town. If you leave, I’ll never get rid of Spencer.

Heidi: You can’t tell him. You can’t tell him at all. This isn’t his business. This is something that I’m doing for myself.

CUT TO:
Lauren, Audrina & Lo’s House

Lauren and Lo are inside with the new puppy they just got. Lauren is squeaking a toy for the puppy, who is looking all around.

Lauren: I can’t believe we got a puppy. She’s so cute.

Lo: Her reactions are the best yet.

Lauren: I love that she has blue eyes like us. (Lo puts her in her lap and she pulls at something and they laugh) Chloe…

Lo: Chloe, that’s such a cute name. (Audrina comes in the door)

Lauren: Hey.

Audrina: You guys are unpacking? (Audrina moves a box and the two girls laugh over the puppy Audrina doesn’t seen yet)

Lo: Look at what we did! (They show her the puppy)

Lauren: Yay!

Audrina: Oh my god. (They all laugh as Audrina sits with them) She is so cute.

Lo: We adopted her.

Audrina: When did you guys get her?

Lauren: We got her from the shelter. (Lauren puts her down and Chloe walks over to Audrina)

Audrina: (To Chloe) Hey (Audrina picks her up)

Lo: We saved her.

Audrina: She has the prettiest eyes.

Lauren & Lo: I know. (Audrina laughs)

Lo: We’re so excited to have a dog. (Lo is holding Chloe now) You’re so perfect. You’re perfect. (Lauren squeaks her toy and Chloe barks) Oh! (Lauren barks at her and Chloe jumps and barks, all excited)

Audrina: You guys been to Pet Co and got her everything?

Lo: Yeah like this lovely bed Lauren’s sitting in.

Lauren: Yup.

Audrina: Wait, where are you gonna keep her?

Lo: I think one of us is just getting sleep with her. (Lauren is playing tug of war with her) in puppy daycare, she’s gonna be like ‘I have two mommies’. (This obviously upsets Audrina because it leaves her out) Calm down pretty girl. No, no, no. (Lauren is holding her and she is biting her)

Lauren: Ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow, ow.

Lo: Let me see her. Let me try.

Lauren: Oh my god. You take her.

Lo: Come here baby. (Audrina makes kissing noises to Chloe as she gets up) Ow Chloe.

Lauren: You were really cute like five minutes ago.

Lo: Calm down. (Audrina leaves) Chloe! (Lauren notices Audrina left but Lo doesn’t) Chloe! (Chloe runs away so they squeak the toy but she doesn’t come back) Baby girl!

CUT TO:
Stephanie’s Apartment

Stephanie is in the kitchen closing up bread while Spencer is sitting on the couch, looking at his phone and not paying attention to her.

Stephanie: Spencer this is how bread goes stale.

Spencer: Sorry.

Stephanie: And why is this out? (Holds up coffee stuff) You don’t even drink coffee.

Spencer: I didn’t take that out.

Stephanie: Then who did?  Spencer you can’t just take out stuff and not put it away! (Opens the fridge and puts the stuff away) Look…

Spencer: Obviously since I don’t drink coffee, I did not take it out of the fridge.

Stephanie: Spencer stop with the phone! I’m serious! I’m sick of this!

Spencer: I’m sick of you. What’s your point?

Stephanie: I don’t want you controlling my life anymore.

Spencer: What…I don’t even tell you anything! I don’t care what you do with your life.

Stephanie: Oh really, like every day I come home from school with Lauren and when I wanna go to her parties? I don’t need s**t from you anymore. This is my life and you’re invading my space and I want you to leave today.

Spencer: I cannot wait to leave and get out of your life ‘cause the fact that you even talk to LC makes me want to have nothing to do with your life ‘cause it just makes me think about how pathetic you really are. So what’s up? I’ll move out. Shoot. Don’t…

Stephanie: You’re calling me pathetic Spencer?

Spencer: Please leave. Please leave.

Stephanie: You’re living on my couch, Heidi doesn’t want anything to do with you…

Spencer: I’m not even listening, I’m not even listening. La, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la, la….go away. I will be gone by the end of the day. Get out of my face. (She opens the door and leaves)

CUT TO:
Lauren, Audrina & Lo’s House

Justin’s bike is parked outside so he is there with Audrina. They leave the backhouse and go in the main house so Audrina can cook Justin food.

Audrina: I wonder if anyone’s here. (They walk inside) Hello? (No one answers) You can come in. (He comes inside and they laugh as she shuts the door and they walk over to the kitchen) I don’t think I’ve ever cooked in here. (She laugh as he sits down) Do you wanna cook?

Justin: No you can cook.

Audrina: (She goes in the fridge) I’m just not a big cooker. I just go out to eat.

Justin: Well I’ll be his first client. (He rubs his hands together) So…

Audrina: My first client?

Justin: Yeah. I want some…I want some toast... (She takes eggs and other food out of the fridge) with butter…um, that’s good. (She looks in the fridge again)

Audrina: I don’t know we have any bread.

Justin: You don’t know where anything is?

Audrina: No I never cook in here. (She adjusts the oven)

Justin: So do you ever come in this house or what?

Audrina: Yeah I mean I’ll come in the kitchen sometimes…

Justin: But you don’t even like come to see your roommates and stuff?

Audrina: (Gets a plate from a cabinet) I don’t know. Lauren and Lo, they…they’re always upstairs and (Puts the plate on the counter) I’m always in the back so…

Justin: Right. Well how do you like it? I mean are you liking it?

Audrina: I don’t know. It just seems like it’s been really awkward lately.

Justin: Really?

Audrina: Yeah. (She gets a paper towel)

Justin: Well that’s not…that’s not good. It shouldn’t be like that. (Audrina cracks eggs into a bowel)

Audrina: It just feels like there’s weird vibes.

Justin: So why even be here, huh? (She uses the whisk on the eggs)

Audrina: I chose the guest house in the back just ‘cause I’m more of a private person whereas like Lauren and Lo, they’re constantly…they share everything. They share their clothes, their like makeup, everything. And I don’t really…I’m not like that, never…

Justin: Yeah.

Audrina: Not even with my sister.

Justin: Right.

Audrina: Yeah I just feel like we’re just distant. It’s weird.

Justin: You don’t want that. You don’t want to have to come home and worry…

Audrina: I don’t want it to be all awkward…

Justin: Exactly. You guys are all roommates. You guys are all friends, you know what I mean? It shouldn’t…there shouldn’t be that heat at all, you know?

Audrina: Then it’s like whenever I do try to make an effort, I talk to them as a friend, she rolls her eyes or she turns her head or like texts on her phone. I’m like I’m not gonna talk to someone who does that to me.

Justin: Put it this way. You gotta think of what…how you act with people. It’s like…

Audrina: I treat people how I want to be treated.

Justin: Exactly. If you don’t feel like you’re getting that same respect, I don’t know, maybe seek some other places, you know, maybe even just check something out for you, you know?

Audrina: Maybe I will look at places. (Offers her the food he’s eating)

Justin: I mean (She eats off his fork) the best thing for you to do is take the first step, check some places out. (She nods and they both eat some of the fruit in the bowel she had gotten from the fridge)

CUT TO:
Van Nuys Airport

A car pulls up in front of SBE’s private plane and Brent and Sam get out of the car and someone helps Heidi out of the car and the three board the plane. Cut to the plane. Heidi, Brent and Sam take their seats. The plane’s door closes after they all get on board. Heidi lifts up her window as the plane take off.

Sam: So now you can travel more I hear.

Heidi: Yeah.

Sam: Well what was the hold up before? ‘Cause remember we talked but I mean you’re like…you can travel more? You have more time?

Heidi: I just had a lot going on. I don’t know, just things…

Sam: What does that mean?

Heidi: It was all…

Brent: Heidi’s being shy. (Heidi laughs) She had a boyfriend,

Heidi: He’s a little bit out of the picture right now so…we’re not really together.

Sam: You guys broke up?

Heidi: Yeah we pretty much broke up.

Sam: Is he gonna lose his minds when he finds out that you’re in Vegas?

Heidi: I don’t think so.

Sam: How old is he?

Heidi: Twenty four.

Sam: Twenty four? He’s gonna lose his mind. (They all laugh)

CUT TO:
Heidi’s Apartment

Spencer pulls up in his car to Heidi’s Apartment. He gets out of his car and opens his trunk and gets his stuff out, having it with him since Stephanie basically kicked him out of her apartment and he is now going back to Heidi or so he thinks…He goes inside with his bag and knocks on the door, thinking Heidi is there. When Heidi doesn’t answer, he uses his key and opens the door.

Spencer: Heidi? (He looks around for her but doesn’t seen her. He puts his keys on the counter. He then walks in other rooms looking for Heidi, including her bedroom and finds it pretty empty. He walks out of her room and back into the kitchen. He puts his bag down on the couch. He gets out his phone and calls Stephanie while sitting on the edge of the couch. She doesn’t answer so he leaves a message) Yo Steph, it’s Spencer. Where’s Heidi? When you get this message, hit me back. Later. (He hangs up the phone and looks around the apartment)

CUT TO:
The Plane

Heidi looks out the window.

CUT TO:
Heidi’s Apartment

Spencer looks upset to find Heidi gone. Then it cuts to an air view of LA.
