Previously on The Hills…

Lauren: (V.O.) Heidi’s relationship vacation didn’t go quite as planned.

Spencer: Nobody touched me!

Heidi: Oh really? You were this close to them and nobody touching you?

Lauren: (V.O.) And she and Spencer were going in different directions.

Spencer: I just don’t think I can just keep waiting around…

Lauren: (V.O.) But Heidi was getting closer to Audrina. Maybe too close.

Lauren: Did she like come in here and chill?

Audrina: She sat down for a few minutes.

Lauren: (V.O.) And after helping Whitney during Fashion Week…

Whitney: Models, everybody to the runway!

Lauren: (V.O.) Her new boss ended up giving me a job. 

Kelly: We would love to offer you a position to come and work with us.

Lauren: Seriously?

Lauren: (V.O.) Now I was back working with my friend again. But I was about to be reminded that friendship should never be taken for granted.

CUT TO: People’s Revolution

Whitney grabs a table over as Lauren moves boxes.

Whitney: So we’re supposed to fold this stuff up into tissue…

Lauren: And then ship it back?

Whitney: And then zip it back to New York.

Lauren: (Folding a belt) So cool.

Whitney: So how’s Audrina? I haven’t heard from her in a long time.

Lauren: Yeah me either. (She laughs)

Whitney: You haven’t either?

Lauren: No she’s good. She’s been busy.

Whitney: She is? She’s been okay?

Lauren: Yeah. She keeps running into Heidi at places.

Whitney: What do you mean, running into Heidi?

Lauren: I mean like every time she goes out, she’s been seeing her.

Whitney: Do they get in confrontations or…?

Lauren: No, no, it’s…she’s friendly.

Whitney: Oh she’s friendly?

Lauren: They’re friends.

Whitney: Oh…

Lauren: It puts us all in a little bit of an awkward position because it’s like it’s both of our homes and so she should be able to do what she wants there

Whitney: Why, because she came over?

Lauren: She’s been over, yeah. (Folds a purple scarf) And I can’t tell her what to do in her home.

Whitney: Right.

Lauren: But at the same it’s my home as well and I don’t want people in there that I don ‘t get along with.

Whitney: Yeah I completely understand that. This is so fun, I have someone to talk to. I never thought we’d be together again.

CUT TO: Opening Credits

CUT TO: Hillside Villas

Lauren, Lo & Audrina are in Audrina’s room getting ready to go out for the night.

Audrina: How was your first day with Whitney?

Lauren: It was really good. You’re going out to GOA with us, right?

Lo: Yeah come to GOA.

Lauren: I need a night out. I’m so like…

Lo: What are you wearing tonight?

Audrina: I feel like I’ve worn everything already. (Lauren and Audrina look in her closet)

Lauren: By the way your green Philip Lynn dress, they made it in white and I almost died when I saw it.

Audrina: Get it.

Lauren: It’s so pretty…I’m not gonna wear the same dress as you.

Audrina: Let’s see… (Throws a dress on the bed) There’s one option.

Lo: (Picks up the dress) Is it cotton?

Lauren: (Looking in the closet) When did you go and like quadruple your closet woman?

Audrina: Okay so I have three options. (Takes a yellow top of a hanger)

Lauren: I got an A+ on my assignment today. Say good job Lauren.

Audrina: You did? Good job Lauren. 

Lo: Good job. What class is it in?

Lauren: I’m so scholarly. In my computer class.

Lo: Is that the computer class you’re in with Stephanie? Stephanie Pratt.

Lauren: Yeah she might actually come tonight.

Audrina: Well that’s good.

Lo: Maybe she’ll bring Heidi.

Lauren: Hey I’m gonna hop in the shower.            

Lo: I’m gonna look for an outfit to wear.

Lauren: Get dressed woman.

CUT TO: That Night – Heidi’s Apartment

Heidi and Stephanie are getting ready to go out as well.

Heidi: I don’t know what to wear tonight. (Shows Stephanie a gray sequined top) I was thinking maybe like this. Oh this one wants to come out too.

Stephanie: Oh that’s cute.

Heidi: And then…or maybe even like with these whites shoes. (Holds up a pair of white heels)

Stephanie: You are excited about tonight. I can tell.

Heidi: I’m so excited. ‘Cause it’s finally like… (Gets out a different pair of shoes) Ooh maybe these shoes. It’s finally like…you know after S Bar and seeing how Spencer was behaving, like I finally just want to have a girls night and have a good night and like you know I don’t need that extra stress. You know?

Stephanie: Well it is Thursday. GOA’s the best on Thursdays. So…Roxy and Alex are gonna meet us and then…

Heidi: Audrina said she might be going.

Stephanie: Literally everyone goes on Thursdays.    

Heidi: You don’t think um, like Lauren would go with her, do you?

Stephanie: She told me she is. Don’t freak out.

Heidi: Well I don’t care. If she’s there like maybe…maybe this will be like the first time it’s okay because I feel like she always had a problem with me because of Spencer…

Stephanie: And now that you’re not together….yeah.

Heidi: And now that I’m not really with him…I mean it was so long ago. And it had to do more with like…I don’t know. I mean I don’t have a problem with her like I’ll be nice to her, you know? I…it’s old water under the bridge, you know? (Stephanie laughs)

CUT TO: GOA

Since it is raining, Stephanie and Heidi run inside and then it cuts to inside GOA where Lauren, Audrina and Lo are sitting at a table and Heidi and Stephanie sit down at a table of their own.

Stephanie: I just saw Audrina’s ex-boyfriend over by the bar.

Heidi: Oh my god, Justin?

Stephanie: Yeah. Audrina and Lauren are right over there. (Cuts to Lauren and Audrina)

Lauren: I totally bumped into a guy over there and I thought I knew him and I was like ‘Hey’ and like made like awkward eye contact and then he was like ‘Hey’ and I was like Oh my god I don’t know you. (Audrina and Lauren laugh then cuts to Heidi and Stephanie)

Stephanie: They look like they’re in a good mood. Let’s go over.

Heidi: I don’t’ know. I want to talk to Audrina about it but Lauren’s over there.

Stephanie: It’ll be fine. (Cut to Lauren’s table)

Lauren: Hey I’m gonna slip out for just a minute. I’ll be right back. (Lauren gets up) Lo…Come with me. (Lo gets up too and they leave the table which Heidi and Stephanie see)

Heidi: Lauren left the table. I’m gonna go tell Audrina about Justin. (Cut to the bar as Lauren order a drink)

Lauren: (To bartender) Can I get a glass of champagne please? (Cut to Lauren’s table as Heidi and Stephanie walk over)

Heidi: Hi! (Taps her on the shoulder) Hi!

Audrina: Hi! (They hug)

Heidi: What are you doing? (Sits down next to her) What’s going on? You look so cute! I love it! I have to tell you. I think that Justin Bobby is here.

Audrina: I haven’t seen him in so long and I’ve been trying so hard to get over him.

Heidi: Are you going to be okay? Like, do you want me to make sure he doesn’t come in this room or anything?

Audrina: No it’s fine. I mean…He probably won’t even come up. It’s fine.

Lauren: Okay is our table still empty?

Lo: Oh my god. Heidi’s at our table talking to Audrina. This sucks.

Lauren: Will you kidnap me…please?

Audrina: I never wrote him back. I never called him back. I was like, seriously stop messing with me. I really need to get over you.

Heidi: Yeah, and it’s like a wound still. It’s not like it’s healed. (Lo and Lauren come back to the table)

Lauren: Hey guys. Can you make some room? (Lauren doesn’t look happy to see Heidi as she moves past Audrina to sit down. Stephanie sits next to Lauren) I’m glad you’re here. I just didn’t really think you’d bring Heidi. It’s just really hard for me to be a table with her. And I kind of want to leave. I’m sorry. That’s really awkward to say to you. I know.

Stephanie: No. I mean, I know exactly what it is. I just kind of thought we could all get along.

Heidi: I don’t know. I think I’m gonna go pretty soon. It’s pretty clear Lauren doesn’t want me to be friends with you. Oh my gosh. Here’s comes Justin.

Justin: (Approaches the table) Hi.

Heidi: Hi Justin. How are you?

Justin: Nice to see you. (Heidi gets up so Justin can sit down)

Heidi: I think I’m gonna go.

Audrina: Heidi, don’t leave. We’re having fun.

Heidi: Or I’m gonna stay. (She sits back down next to Justin)

Justin: (To Heidi) Nice to see you. How’s it going?

Heidi: How are you?

Justin: I’m okay, a little tired.

Heidi: We should all hang out in a group sometime.

Justin: I’m down. Whenever. It’s up to this one though. (He points to Audrina) I mean, because…Under the circumstances.

Heidi: Luckily, I am talking to this woman. Her and I were friends before her and Lauren were friends.

Justin: But how’s that? Is everything cool now?

Heidi: I told Audrina…It’s silly that we can’t be friends because you live with Lauren. She’s like ‘I know’.

Lauren: Oh my god. I have to leave this table immediately. So you guys have an awesome time. Have fun, yay! (Lauren gets up and leaves the table)

Stephanie: (To Audrina) I think Lauren’s totally upset. (Lo goes up to Lauren who looks upset)

Lo: Lauren. What are you doing?

Lauren: I can’t pretend that it’s normal that we’re all sitting together. I want to go home.

Lo: Let me go get my stuff. (Lo goes to get her stuff so they can leave. It cuts to the table as Audrina, Justin and Heidi talk and Lauren looks over at them, upset)

CUT TO: The Next Day – Heidi’s Apartment

Heidi and Stephanie are sitting and talking about the night before.

Stephanie: Oh my god, I can’t believe that. How much fun was last night?

Heidi: It was fun but it wasn’t really like what I expected, you know?

Stephanie: I thought it was like really good progress that we were all sitting at the same table. (Heidi laughs) I really did.

Heidi: Yeah…

Stephanie: And like for a minute I was like ‘Oh we can all be friends’.

Heidi: I thought especially like not really being with Spencer, that maybe she would be a little warmer, you know like a little bit…

Stephanie: Yeah.

Heidi: It’s just, it’s so weird between her and I, you know.

Stephanie: But I mean, you and Audrina are fine.

Heidi: I mean it was good to like see Audrina but…I don’t know.

CUT TO: Hillside Villas

Lo walks in the door.

Lo: Hello!

Lauren: (On the couch) Hey.

Lo: (Shuts the door) Hi how are you?

Lauren: I’m good how are you?

Lo: I’m tired. (Walks over to the fridge)

Lauren: Will you…will you grab me a water bottle?

Lo: Yeah.

Lauren: Thanks. How was work?

Lo: Work’s so hard. How was your day?

Lauren: Good. I like my new job.

Lo: Cool. (Walks over to the couch) What did you spray on yourself?

Lauren: My…ah! (Takes water bottle from Lo)

Lo: Oops nails. (Lo sits down next to Lauren)

Lauren: My like insta dry.

Lo: Oh cool.

Lauren: Was there a lot of traffic on your way here?

Lo: Yes.

Lauren: I hate that you’re far away.

Lo: I know it is bad. Getting here takes a while.

Lauren: I know. Did you stay here two or three days over the weekend?

Lo: I think I was here two nights in a row.

Lauren: Wouldn’t it fun if we all got a house together like all the girl and then we could just like come home and not have to all go our separate ways?

Lo: That’d be so fun.

Lauren: Wouldn’t it be? I’m just kinda sick of this apartment like it’s…I feel so like… (Makes motions of feeling trapped)

Lo: When is your lease up?

Lauren: Soon. There’s something to be said about moving, you know what I mean, like you get to like go through all your stuff and clean everything out…

Lo: Yeah.

Lauren: And have like a fresh start.

Lo: A house would be so fun.

Lauren: Right? And you can live with more people and it’s just like…

Lo: Yeah.

Lauren: Works.

Lo: Who would wanna live with us?

Lauren: Audrina.

Lo: Audrina too? Do you think she’d wanna like go from like living by herself to living with one to living with two?

Lauren: I’ll ask her.

Lo: Is she here?

Lauren: Dinner.

Lo: Who’d she go to dinner with?

Lauren: Justin Bobby.

Lo: That’s not true.

Lauren Yes it is true and it actually kinda freaks me out.

Lo: Wait that’s so weird. Maybe she’ll bring Heidi and Justin Bobby to the new house. That’s not allowed.

CUT TO: That Night – Republic

Audrina is sitting at a table waiting for Justin. Justin walks in and sits next to her without knowing it’s her.

Justin: (Sees her) Oh hi.

Audrina: Hi.

Justin: Oh you’re already here.

Audrina: Where did you come from? (They hug) How are you?

Justin: I’m good. How you doing?

Audrina: Good. (She sits down) You smell good.

Justin: Really? I haven’t showered in weeks. (He sits down) I like your leathers. It looks like you miss the bike, huh? Come on,  a little bit.

Audrina: A little bit.

Justin: A little bit?

Audrina: Yeah.

Justin: I don’t think anybody…I seriously…I don’t think anybody’s been on it since.

Audrina: Really?

Justin: Except me yeah. I got a solo seat.  I haven’t had anybody on it.

Audrina: Wow. What have you been up to?

Justin: Hanging out, doing the move.

Audrina: So your new place is by the beach?

Justin: Mm-hmm.

Audrina: So nice.

Justin: I’m excited. It’s good. Change is good people are different. I need to get my priorities straight.

Audrina: Yeah.

Justin: Remember the first…our first little date we went to? How long ago was that? Long. You think of all the BS that’s been on between that time and right now?

Audrina: I know, a lot. It’s just like I’m just over all this stuff.

Justin: Yeah.

Audrina: You know, I have my own stuff going on, I don’t want any more drama. Like Lauren still won’t talk or look at Heidi.

Justin: Right.

Audrina: But I see Heidi out now and like we’re okay.

Justin: No she seemed really nice.

Audrina: I know I…yeah.

Justin: Really…

Audrina: We used to be really good friends.

Justin: Oh okay.

Audrina: Like we talked about you when she came over the other week.

Justin: Yeah.

Audrina: Whatever.

Justin: It might cause a little drama.

Audrina: Oh, a little? (They both laugh)

Justin: It’s not nice when you fall away from people but when you…when you kind of regroup again, it’s kind of…

Audrina: Good company.

Justin: Absolutely.

Audrina: Yeah. You know, I missed you.

Justin: I missed you too. What are you gonna do later tonight?

Audrina: I don’t know.

Justin: Uh oh…(They smile at each other)

CUT TO: The Next Day – Hillside Villas

Lauren is sitting at the counter when Audrina comes downstairs into the kitchen.

Lauren: Hey.

Audrina: Good morning.

Lauren: She lives!

Audrina: I live.

Lauren: (Laughs as she cuts up a grapefruit) How are you?

Audrina: Can I have the other half?

Lauren: Yeah I saved it for you. 

Audrina: Okay cool.

Lauren: So what happened to you last night? I tried calling you.

Audrina: You did?

Lauren: Yeah.

Audrina: I didn’t see your call. Justin and I went out pretty late last night.

Lauren: How’s he doing?

Audrina: He’s doing really good.

Lauren: That’s good.

Audrina: He’s cleaned up.

Lauren: Did he burp in your face?

Audrina: No he didn’t burp at all. He didn’t burp once.

Lauren: Wow.

Audrina: He’s been good, I’m happy for him.

Lauren: So you guys are good just being friends?

Audrina: There’s always going to be something.

Lauren: I think you still love him.

Audrina: I don’t know. It’s like you and Jason or Stephen, you know?

Lauren: No it’s not because I stopped going back to Jason.

Audrina: We didn’t go on a date like a date, date, like we wanna get back together date. We just went out and talked.

Lauren: Tomato, tomato. Call it what you want.

Audrina: He kept asking me a bunch of questions about Heidi.

Lauren: It seems like you and Heidi are becoming friends again.

Audrina: I don’t know it’s like whenever you stop talking to someone who’s…you’re really close to, it’s like a good friend like I feel like I have one of my friends back, you know? I need a spoon. All right I’m gonna go get dressed and get ready.

Lauren: Okay. (Audrina leaves the room as Lauren sadly picks at her food)

CUT TO: Stephanie’s Apartment

Spencer is lying on the couch when someone knocks at the door.

Spencer: Coming. (He opens the door and it is Heidi) Look who it is. Steph’s not here.

Heidi: (Comes inside and shuts the door) Steph’s not here?

Spencer: She’s not. Can I help you? (He sits down on the couch)

Heidi: Yeah I just wanted to come and see how you are. (She sits down next to him)

Spencer: I thought you were here to see Steph.

Heidi: Okay.

Spencer: So you came here to hang out with Stephanie and now you’re pretending like you want to talk to me.

Heidi: Well now that I’m here…

Spencer: Oh. What’s going on?

Heidi: I went to uh, to GOA the other night with your sister.

Spencer: Cool did you have fun?

Heidi: No actually I didn’t because uh, your sister was you know like hanging out with Lauren and I felt really uncomfortable and she was like pretty icy to me. 

Spencer: I can’t believe you would go to a club where she was even there.

Heidi: I know. It was awful. It was a really bad night.

Spencer: I know you probably wanna vent about this but…I really have no sympathy for you because who do you expect to find at GOA?

Heidi: Well I was just trying to be like the bigger person and be…coregal.

Spencer:  Why are you even trying? You think she’s…you guys are gonna move back in together, all of a sudden things’ll be hunky dory? No offense, I really don’t wanna talk about you out at clubs so…Maybe you should wait for my sister to come back.

Heidi: You know what? (Gets up) I gotta go. Will you tell Stephanie I said hi?

Spencer: It was great seeing you. Enjoy your space.

Heidi: Yeah it was great seeing you too.

Spencer: You look great. (She opens the door and leaves)

CUT TO: The Spanish Kitchen

Lauren and Lo are at a table waiting for Audrina.

Lo: Okay so I was thinking more about the house.

Lauren: I haven’t really talked to Audrina.

Lo: About moving in? (Lauren shakes her head) Well do you wanna live with her?

Lauren: I’d live with Audrina. Remember the night Audrina had a date with Justin the first meeting of Justin Bobby when we named him Justin Bobby?

Lo: Mm-hmm.

Lauren: That’s what it will be like living together. Fun!

Lo: Audrina brings dirty boys home like ‘Hey friend, wanna hang out?’ (Lauren laughs) ‘Want me to torment you forever?’

Lauren: To be fair, they’re not all dirty. Justin Bobby was exceptionally dirty.

Lo: (Laughs) That’s funny. (Audrina shows up) Hey.

Audrina: Hello.

Lo: How are you sweetie?

Audrina: Good. (Lauren waves at her) You have the same pants on?

Lo: Yes we have the same pants on.

Audrina: That’s amazing. (She sits down as Lo laughs)

Waitress: (To Audrina) Anything to drink?

Lauren: We didn’t order food for you. We didn’t know what you want.

Audrina: Um, I’ll just get whatever they got and then soup.

Waitress: Okay. (Waitress leaves)

Lauren: It’s good.

Lo: Um, you went out to dinner with Justin last night, right?

Audrina: Um, no we just went out and we caught up and like he said he’s stopped drinking, for now anyways.

Lo: Really?

Lauren: Um, Lo and I were talking about how the lease is running up.

Audrina: Yeah.

Lauren: Um, so we kinda have to start figuring out what our plans is afterwards.

Lo: Do you know what you’re gonna do yet?

Audrina: I mean…

Lauren: I don’t know if you…

Audrina: I hadn’t really thought about it.

Lauren: Well we were thinking about possibly getting a house. It’s totally up to you what you wanna do.

Audrina: Have you guys already been looking?

Lauren: A little bit.

Lo: Kind of.

Lauren: But not like…

Lo: So this is what we were thinking about and we didn’t know like if you were…like had a plan yet or were thinking about it so…

Audrina: Well yeah I mean I’m definitely open.

Lo: Yeah it’s…it’s gonna be like a weird change but at the same time, like Lauren and I have known each other for so long and…

Audrina: Yeah.

Lo: Like the social aspect of it is…gonna be different but still just as fun, you know?

Audrina: Well yeah I mean if you guys want me to move in with you, I will. I’m totally down.

Lauren: Sure.

Lo: Yay I’m so excited.

Lauren: It’ll be fun. (They all sit there, looking at each other and then it cuts to an air view of LA)
