Lauren: (V.O.) Whitney was great at her new job at People’s Revolution.

Kelly: Celebrity outreach?

Jessica: Working on that.

Kelly: Okay it’s a little late. It’s too late.

Emily: That was supposed to be your responsibility Jessica.

Jessica: No I know and I have been working on that.

Whitney: Well for the Robin Anton one, aren’t there women celebrities that we can reach out to?

Kelly: Good thinking.

Lauren: (V.O.) And they had asked me to help out with LA fashion week.

Lauren: You weren’t there the first time I met Kelly Cutrone, were you?

Whitney: No but I got a crying phone call.

Lauren: (V.O.) Heidi had reached out to Audrina.

Heidi: Hey mind if I sit down?

Lauren: (V.O.) Audrina promised to me that she wasn’t going to become friends with Heidi again. But Heidi may have other ideas about their new friendship.

CUT TO: Epic Records

Heidi goes inside to meet Audrina for lunch. She approaches the front desk.

Heidi: Hi. Um, I’m here to see Audrina.

Woman: She’s gonna be in the Epic digital, which is straight ahead.

Heidi: Okay.

Woman: And it’s the first door.

Heidi: Okay.

Woman: Right through those doors.

Heidi: Great thank you. (Cut to lunch room. Heidi and Audrina get food) This is so cute. It’s like a real cafeteria.

Audrina: This is a little hangout spot.

Heidi: Do you eat here every day?

Audrina: Not every day. There’s like um, there’s a couple places down the street. (They put their trays down at a table and sit down)  But they usually have good food here.

Heidi: It’s so nice to like relax and be able to have like a lunch.

Audrina: I know.

Heidi: With you here.

Audrina: I’m been going nonstop.

Heidi: Like you don’t know how nice it is to be able to talk to you again. You know it’s like we were friends for a long time and all this stuff happened that had nothing to do with us.

Audrina: I know.

Heidi: That had really to do with Lauren and Spencer, you know?

Audrina: I know and then somehow all of us…it became…

Heidi: Right.

Audrina: Part of all of us and I was…back and like ‘What am I doing…this is none of my business like…’

Heidi: Right.

Audrina: You know?

Heidi: I’m really like gaining myself again and I’m needing like hanging out with girlfriends and like okay, you know what? I really need a girls night out. No boys, no Spencer. Will you come?

CUT TO: Opening Credits

CUT TO: People’s Revolution

There is a big line of models outside. Lauren squeezes past them and enters the building.

Lauren: Excuse me. (Whitney sees her and waves and motions her over so Lauren walks over to her)

Whitney: Hi. (They hug)

Lauren: It’s like lottos in here…a lot of models.

Whitney: I know. Oodles of models.

Lauren: Is Kelly here?

Whitney: She is. I don’t know where she…she goes like in and out.

Lauren: Oh is she upstairs right now?

Whitney: I think so. Okay. So here’s what’s happening. Put your stuff down over here and then I’ll tell you what’s going on.

Kelly: (Comes downstairs as Lauren puts her stuff down) Bianca Gomez, how old are you now?

Bianca: Nineteen.

Kelly: Oh my god you look so cute in that lingerie. (Lauren goes back over to Whitney) All right.

Whitney: Hi.

Kelly: Hi.

Whitney: Kelly this is Lauren, the helper.

Lauren: Hi I met you before.

Kelly: I met you before. (They shake hands)

Lauren: How are you?

Kelly: I did meet you before. I’m well. (to Whitney) Is she our helper?

Whitney: Yeah.

Kelly: She is? All right. Lauren. You wanna cast with me?

Lauren: Sure.

Kelly: And Whitney get ready, here we go. (They follow Kelly) Let’s start from there. Okay go ahead. Straight down. (A model walks for Kelly) Lauren, um, Whitney can you Polaroid these two girls?

Lauren: All right. One, two, three. (Lauren takes a picture of the model) What’s your name?

Model: Courtney.

Lauren: Courtney.

Kelly: Courtney with a C?

Lauren: (Hands Courtney something) Thank you.

Kelly: All right. (Lauren puts the camera down over by Whitney who is sitting at the desk as Lauren puts the picture on a board) We got another one Lauren. Don’t get too comfortable.  (As a shirtless guy model walks) Oh my god. Okay I think he’s perfect. (Lauren runs to get something) Lauren Conrad! Where are you?

Lauren: Getting paper clips, getting paper clips.

Kelly: (Kneeling by models with her laptop) Okay. I need to book these models. (Goes over by Lauren and Whitney who are adding pictures to the board) Do you guys have that done? Oh my god you guys are so slow.

Whitney: Well…

Kelly: Let’s sit over here really quick. I’m gonna bump Jess. (To Jessica) I mean I know you don’t wanna move but you’re gonna have to move.

Jessica: Okay.

Kelly: Can you guys grab a couple chairs? (Jessica moves her stuff and Kelly sits in her chair) Just to have like a little crash course. Really quickly. (Lauren and Whitney sit down with her)

Jessica: Can we spare Lauren to maybe call? Julia wants to make sure that the models…

Kelly: You can do that. We’re gonna book these models over here. (Lauren is getting things) Lauren, pull up a chair over here.

Lauren: Okay.

CUT TO: That Night – Stephanie’s Apartment

Spencer is in the kitchen making a sandwich when Stephanie walks in from her bedroom.

Spencer: Oh perfect time. I’m just cutting your half.

Stephanie: Thank you but I’m leaving.

Spencer: Where are you going?

Stephanie: Oh my god. Do you use all the turkey for your one sandwich?

Spencer: No, this half is for you. This half is for me. Where are you going, anyways?

Stephanie: I’m going out in Hollywood.

Spencer: I’m sure you are. Going to a nightclub?

Stephanie: Uh yeah.

Spencer: What club would that be?

Stephanie: It’s S Bar.

Spencer: Is Heidi going? (She doesn’t respond) So I’ll take that as a ‘yes’.

Stephanie: Don’t wait up. Have fun coach potato. (She walks out the door and leaves and Spencer doesn’t look happy)

CUT TO: S Bar

Audrina and Chiara are inside waiting for Heidi and Stephanie.

Audrina: It feels so weird to be meeting Heidi here.

Chiara: Was the last time that you were here you with Lauren?

Audrina: Yeah we were over there. (She points to where they were the last time) No matter what I do, somebody’s gonna be mad. (Heidi and Stephanie walk in and up to them)

Heidi: Hi. Hi. Hey. (Stephanie and Audrina hug) I’m so glad you’re here (Stephanie and Chiara shake hands. Then they all sit down) What’s going on? Oh my god. You have to hear this.

Stephanie: You don’t want to hear it. He’s got all this s**t in the middle of my living room. And he’s like, this is nothing Stephanie. Wait till the arcade comes. And I was like…Wait till I change the lock on my door! (They all laugh)

CUT TO: People’s Revolution

Whitney: It’s so crazy to see how much goes into it, you know, you think that you just slap on an outfit…

Lauren: Great though.

Whitney: And just like throw them out there…

Lauren: No.

Whitney: It’s so not like that.

Lauren: This is like a dream job. I’m so stoked for you. It’d be so cool to work here with you.

Whitney: I know. Well if you impress Kelly, maybe she’ll hire you. (Kelly walks over to them)

Kelly: Hey you guys, hi.

Lauren: Hi.

Kelly: I wanna go over a couple things. First of all, for the shows, it’s best to wear all black. No boobies, you know, just straight black…

Lauren: Am I doing shows?

Kelly: No short skirt…I’m gonna need you to help us because I think…

Lauren: Yeah I’m open all week I just didn’t know what I was doing.

Kelly: Tomorrow really is gonna be…all hell’s gonna break loose. So I really need you to get a good night’s sleep tonight. It’s gonna be a big day. All right. (Kelly walks away from them)

CUT TO:  S Bar

Audrina: I realized that I don’t wanna be in a relationship.

Heidi: Right.

Stephanie: That’s the best.  You’re so young!

Heidi: She is such an encourager of single women everywhere. She’s like, ‘Okay let’s all be single together forever’. (They all laugh. Cuts to outside the club where Spencer walks in his friend Kevin then it cuts back to inside. Heidi laughs) I was like ‘I didn’t know that’. (She laughs again as it shows Spencer is in the club too)

Stephanie: (Sees Spencer) Heidi, look who’s here.

Heidi: (She looks and sees Spencer) Spencer’s here.

Audrina: He is?

Heidi: How did Spencer know we were coming here? (Stephanie kind of gives a guilty look) Should I go say something to him?

Audrina: I don’t think you should go down there. (Heidi looks again and sees Spencer with a bunch of girls)

Spencer: How old are you?

Heidi: Is he talking to those girls? He’s talking to that group of girls. I’m about to be so mad. I will kill some b****h if she comes up to him though. I will.

Audrina: That’s how I am too.

Heidi: Girls are so aggressive. That’s the best thing. Girls will do anything at that moment. They’ll be like, ‘Oh, you wanna go?’ Someone’s about to go down. (Heidi looks again over at Spencer)

Spencer: I got two for you.

Girl: Are you sipping on shots? Very classy.

Spencer: Well you can take yours in one.

Heidi: You’re kidding me. You’re kidding me. Like, you come here on my girls’ night…And you start flirting with a group of girls. Like…I want to smash his face in. I’m so mad. (She looks again)

Spencer: Take it in one, big talk. All right, you can sip it. Just don’t be rude when other people are sipping.

Stephanie: They’re taking shots!

Heidi: They’re taking shots? They’re taking shots?

Stephanie: Spencer is.

Heidi: They’re taking shots? I am totally…I’m leaving. I’m gonna go. (They all get up) I’m so mad. I’m like shaking mad. (Audrina and Stephanie hug) Like, about to cry, shaking mad. Like, I don’t even know what to do right now. (Audrina waves goodbye as Spencer walks over)

Spencer: What’s with you?

Heidi: Don’t even come over here. Don’t even come here. What if I weren’t here? Like, what would you be doing? (She walks away and Spencer follows her)

Spencer: You are insane. (Cuts to Spencer and Heidi in a different area of the club then Audrina and Stephanie) So, what do you do? You didn’t come to clubs?

Heidi: Why don’t you go flirt with some more girls? ‘Cause you’re so single and you want them to all know you’re single.

Spencer: I’m single? I’m single now?

Heidi: I don’t know. Like the first night, you’re out the first five minutes. You’re sitting there talking to two girls. Like laughing like, ha ha ha.

Spencer: Laughing?

Heidi: Oh you guys were sitting there and you’re like… (She touches him) ha, ha, ha.

Spencer: Nobody touched me.

Heidi: Oh really? You were this close to them and nobody touched you? It doesn’t matter. This counts.

Spencer: I just wasn’t trying to be rude. She was saying a stupid joke.

Heidi: I mean I’m not gonna try to be rude to the next guy who tries to talk to me. I’m just not gonna be rude.

Spencer: You’re the one who goes to the clubs every night. This is the first time I’ve been to a club in months. 

Heidi: Every night, I’m with my girls. I’m not doing that s**t.

Spencer: Doing what s**t?

Heidi: If a guy tries to talk to me, I say ‘Please don’t talk to me’. I’m not like…’Oh, blah, blah, blah’. (To the girl Spencer was talking to as she walks by) Hi. Is that your new friends?

Spencer: I mean I didn’t do anything. You’re yelling at me for talking to a…A person that said hello.

Heidi: I don’t even want to look at you right now.

Spencer: You don’t want to look at me?

Heidi: No! I don’t. I’m so mad.

CUT TO: The Next Day – Hillside Villas

Lauren goes upstairs and into Audrina’s room

Lauren: Morning. (Audrina is folding clothes)

Audrina: Good morning.

Lauren: So how are you?

Audrina: Laundry, it’s a laundry day for me.

Lauren: Hmm…where’d you go out last night?

Audrina: Um, I went to S Bar after work. Heidi and Stephanie were like girls night out. So then we’re sitting there, talking, Spencer shows up and he’s with all these girls and like Heidi kept looking over there and Stephanie’s like Oh my god like what…what are you gonna do?

Lauren: Why wouldn’t she go up and say hi? Wasn’t the guy like her fiancée?

Audrina: Because like he knew she was doing a girls night with her girls and like she’s like ‘I bet he knew where I was coming and he’s just like stalking me and coming here’ and then…

Lauren: But like if you’re in a relationship…

Audrina: So…

Lauren: …with someone, you can’t walk up to them and be like ‘Hey’?

Audrina: Well I guess they’re on relationship vacation. I don’t know.

Lauren: The thing is, and this is just me being me, that um, it would not surprise me if Heidi or Spencer tried very, very hard to become friends with you because they really don’t like the fact that I get along with Stephanie.

Audrina: Mm…I know.

Lauren: Cool.

Audrina: I was surprisingly grossed out about how many girls were on him.

Lauren: He probably pays ‘em. No girl would willingly touch that scum. Whoa, where’d that come from? (They both laugh) Okay I have to go get ready. I have Kelly’s show today. Okay.

Audrina: Okay. (Lauren leaves Audrina’s room)

CUT TO: Smashbox Studios

Lauren and Whitney go inside to work on the show.

Kelly: All right here’s what I need you to do. I want you to push like a mother hen… (She hands Whitney a piece of paper as Lauren walks over)

Whitney: Okay.

Kelly: Just from the back, both of you.

Whitney: Okay.

Kelly: Call these people out. (Hands Whitney the microphone) Here’s the microphone.

Whitney: Okay.

Kelly: Get all the models. I’ll show you how to do it. (To models) Girls we don’t have time for this. Let’s go. Out, out. Out on the runway. (Pushes the girls until they leave) That’s how you do it. Just like a, like a sheep herding dog, okay?

Whitney: Okay all right.

Kelly: Anyone that looks tall with her hair done.

Whitney: Models! Everybody to the runway!

Lauren: Models. (Points toward the runway)

Whitney: Models! Out to the runway!

Kelly: (With the mic, going out to the runway as Whitney follows) Okay. Here you go Kate. All the girls out on the runway. Whitney, get the CD chart. (Cut to front stage. Whitney is following Kelly)

Whitney: I have it.

Lauren: (To the models) You guys wanna come out a little more? She’s gonna demonstrate for you.

Kelly: Okay, why? Whitney, can you just go backstage really quickly and ask, does she wanna go to red backstage lighting then change to the purple for the first look and copy that?

Whitney: Okay. (Cut to backstage) Yeah. She wants to know, when she’s finished talking, if she wants it to start red and then change to purple when the first look comes out.

Jessica: Alexia wants to know?

Whitney: Kelly wants to know.

Jessica: Oh the light…the lighting red? Red to purple? Okay. (Whitney waits for an answer)

Whitney: I’m sorry. Yeah, no, no, no I’m sorry. Did you want to start red? Did you want to start on the first look red and then change to purple or do you wanna start purple?

Alexia: Red, right.

Whitney: Okay. (Whitney goes back to Kelly) Starting red.

Kelly: We’re gonna go with the original…

Whitney: Start with red yeah.

Kelly: Okay good. The backstage is gonna go deep red. Go deep. Can I see a red so I can lock it in? Let’s bring the other house lights down. (The lights go down) Okay perfect. Okay girls you’re gonna go line them up from the back.

Whitney: Okay.

Kelly: All right?

Whitney: Yes.

Kelly: All right. Don’t f**k up.

CUT TO: That Night – Bolthouse Offices

Kim and Heidi are in Heidi’s office talking about a plan for something.

Kim: So I’m changing the layout to be like LA a little bit. I wanna switch this one out to here and move this cabana out completely.

Heidi: All right.

Kim: Which we have a week so…

Heidi: Perfect.

Kim: You okay? I haven’t seen you all day.

Heidi: I know. I’ve been kind of hiding out a little bit. I had like the worst night of my life last night at S Bar.

Kim: At S Bar?

Heidi: Yeah I thought I was having like girls night out and then Spencer shows up.

Kim: Yeah?

Heidi: And he doesn’t come over and say hi like he doesn’t even acknowledge my existence. And then he’s surrounded by like a group of girls and taking shots with them. I was so sick and I wanted to kill them.

Kim: Why did he do that?

Heidi: I’ve never felt so betrayed.

Kim: Was he trying to do some childish display of him being angry with the fact that you guys are on a break?

Heidi: Or he’s just over it, you know?

Kim: He’s not over it. If you’re over it, then you don’t do something like that.

Heidi: It’s so hard seeing him with other girls. How can you love and hate someone so much at the same time?

CUT TO: Bolthouse Offices

Heidi is now in her office alone. She’s sitting there, looking really upset. She grabs her phone and calls Spencer.

Spencer: Oh look who it is.

Heidi: What are you doing?

Spencer: What are you doing?

Heidi: I am just at Bolthouse. Do you wanna come by?

Spencer: Are you gonna yell at me?

Heidi: I think we need to talk.

Spencer: Uh yeah. When should I come?

Heidi: Uh whenever you can make it.

Spencer: I’ll be there soon.

Heidi: All right bye. (She hangs up with him)

CUT TO: Smashbox Studios

Everyone is getting ready for the show.

Emily: (To Whitney & Lauren) In about fifteen minutes, we’re gonna start the show. So you’re gonna be backstage with me and you’re gonna help me push the models and then Lauren’s gonna help with the models lineup. Those models that came in late, we’ve gotta get them in into first look so that we can start the show.

Whitney: All right guys, let’s get in order. If models are done changing, please send them up front. We’re gonna start lining up. Michelle!

Lauren: Michelle. (Whitney gets up high to see everyone) I just did a lap and no one….Michelle.

Whitney: Michelle! Okay.

Lauren: All right.

Lauren: Lauren!

Lauren: Two minutes left on all of ‘em.

Whitney: Guys! Is everyone lined up and ready for first looks? (Cut to the stage)

Kelly: What time is it?  Is everybody lined up?

Whitney: (Cuts to backstage) We’re ready.

Lauren: (To model) Right in here.

Kelly: (Cut to Kelly) Okay you. Let’s do this good. (Cut to backstage) Roll out. (Curt to stage as the show begins) Tell the girls to smile when they come out, okay? (Cut to backstage)

Whitney: Smile everybody. (Cut to stage as models walk down then cuts to backstage)

Lauren: (To Model) I’m sorry. What did you say your name was?

Model: Devin.

Lauren: Devin, great. (Cuts to stage as models walk)

Kelly: Good job Lauren, great job. Casey looks beautiful. (Cuts to backstage)

Whitney: Heather, come right here. Right here. Step up, step up. (A model leaves her spot in line and goes to walk)

Lauren: No this is Amanda.  Heather. (Cuts to stage as models walk then back to backstage) Michelle.

Whitney: We need Michelle.

Woman: Where’s Michelle?

Whitney: Michelle! Michelle we need you!

Lauren: Okay go. (Cuts to stage as model walks)

Whitney: Michelle!

Michelle: Right here, right here, right here. (Michelle walks the runway as it cuts to the stage then to backstage then back to stage then backstage)

Whitney: Okay everybody get in order for a finale!

Kelly: (Cut to Kelly) One, two, three…go for… (Cuts to backstage as the models go on stage for finale)

Emily: Everybody go! Everybody go! Everybody go! Everybody go! (Cuts to stage as the models walk for final as Kelly smiles and claps then to backstage as everyone claps then back to the stage.)

Kelly: Nice job. (Everyone cheers as the designers come on stage then to backstage)

Whitney: (To Lauren) Thank you so much. Come here. (They hug) I owe you

CUT TO: Bolthouse Offices

Spencer pulls up in front of Bolthouse. Heidi comes outside and gets in his car.

Heidi: Hey.

Spencer: Well hello.

Heidi: I wanted to talk to you about last night.

Spencer: I’m not even gonna sit here and argue ‘cause…

Heidi: You don’t have to sit here and argue but if you want to be single, be single but let me know.

Spencer: Um…you pretty much made me single when you said…

Heidi: No I didn’t!

Spencer: Uh you call it relationship vacation, anyone else on planet earth calls that breaking up.

Heidi: No they don’t.

Spencer: Yes…who takes a vacation from a relationship?

Heidi: I mean we’re just fighting so much…

Spencer: We weren’t fighting…we fought twice.

Heidi: I wanted space. I wanted some space.

Spencer: Well you got your space.

Heidi: Yeah but I didn’t want you like hooking up with other girls…

Spencer: I didn’t hook up with any…

Heidi:  I’m not hooking up with other guys.

Spencer: I didn’t hook up with anybody!

Heidi: I was there with my friends and you embarrassed me in front of everybody.

Spencer: I embarrassed you?

Heidi: Yes you embarrassed me.

Spencer: For standing at a bar?

Heidi: Okay. You know what? Next time I (air quotes) stand at a bar, and there happens to be some guys there and I’m flirting with them…

Spencer: Flirting?

Heidi: And taking shots…let’s see how you feel.

Spencer: Bottom line is you’re delusional if you think I was flirting with those girls. How long is relationship vacation? Like am I supposed to not go to bars and not talk to people for how many months? I just don‘t think I can just keep waiting around all year long…wait for when Heidi decides she wants to get off relationship vacation. (They just sit there in silence)

CUT TO: Smashbox Studios

Everyone is packing up and leaving.

Kelly: (Approaches Whitney & Lauren) Hi.

Whitney: Hi.

Kelly: OMG! (Whitney laughs) Oh my god. First of all, you go up to the ladder (high fives Whitney) to like bitch in training.

Whitney: Oh my god my mom would be so proud. (They all laugh)

Kelly: Lauren, you’ve gone from like slow mo to like fashion glow.

Lauren: Oh my god. (They all laugh)

Kelly: An unbelievable two year increase. And um, we would love to offer you a position to come and work with us.

Lauren: Seriously?

Kelly: We’re happy to have you come on because we want to start making some changes in our LA office. (Jessica approaches, looking shocked Kelly offered Lauren a job) (To Jessica) Hi. You’re going to the party right?

Jessica: Yeah.

Kelly: Can you make sure everybody out there has wristbands?

Jessica: I’m going…well we have two. So…

Emily: But she’s talking about the…

Kelly: No but I’m talking about this party before we go to the other party.

Jessica: Oh I didn’t even know there was… (Whitney hands Kelly papers who hands them to Jessica)

Kelly: Can you…yeah there’s one in that green room for Mercedes.

Jessica: Okay.

Kelly: And then can you get my assistant to get a taxi for my nanny and my daughter to get back?

Jessica: Yeah okay. We’ll just figure out the wristbands and then…okay. (Jessica leaves)

Kelly: (To Lauren) So thank you so much for showing up and helping us out.

Lauren: Yeah of course.

Kelly: And we’re happy to have you come on. You know it’s amazing opportunity to make the best of yourself. (Lauren & Whitney smile because this means they will once again be working together. Cut to Bolthouse Offices. Heidi gets out of Spencer’s car and slams the door shut. She walks away as he drives away. Cut to Smashbox Studios as Lauren & Whitney leave together. Cut to Bolthouse Offices as Heidi keeps walking then cuts to an air view of LA)
