Previously on The Hills…

Lauren: (V.O.) Whitney was off and running at her new job.

Whitney: Hollis, Hollis, go, go, go, go.

Lauren; (V.O.) And she had already made a good impression.

Kelly: We’re gonna expect a lot from you just so you know.

Whitney: I hope so.

Lauren: (V.O.) I just had my birthday and I invited Spencer’s sister Stephanie because she seemed like a cool person.

Lauren; (Hugging Stephanie) How are you?

Lauren: (V.O.) It didn’t take long for Heidi to find out.

Heidi: Did you know that Stephanie went to Lauren’s birthday?

Lauren: (V.O,) And she and Spencer weren’t pleased.

Stephanie: You’re making me cry right now.

Spencer: You’re making yourself cry, thinking about what you did.

Lauren; (V.O.) Heidi didn’t like that I was getting close to one of her friends.

Heidi: Just be careful with her because one minute you’re her best friend and then the next minute…

Lauren: (V.O.) But Heidi was about to make a friend of her own.

CUT TO: Lulu’s Café

Lauren: So you know how Stephanie was at my birthday party?

Whitney: Yeah.

Lauren:  I guess Spencer freaked…

Whitney: Yeah I saw her.

Lauren: Out on her like made her cry.

Whitney: Are you serious? (Lauren nods) People just waste so much time being angry at people.

Lauren: I know.

Whitney: I mean she’s not involved in the situation at all so she has no reason not to be nice to you.

Lauren: And he called her Brody.

Whitney: Oh god. I mean if he’s…that’s ridiculous.

Lauren: Can I hear about your new job? I’m like…

Whitney: So I get to New York and I walk in and it’s like such a different atmosphere. I mean like she wanted me to see how the New York offices were ‘cause she basically wants to model the LA office after the New York office. So the day that I was there we were working on the Sass and Bide show.

Lauren: So fun.

Whitney: So fun. And the stuff was so cute.

Lauren: Did you do the work backstage?

Whitney: Yes. My job during the show was to um, call the models like Kelly would like ‘Okay next model out’ and I’d be like ‘Go, go, go’.

Lauren: That’s like my ideal job.

Whitney: I know. I mean while I was doing it, I was like ‘Lauren would be loving this right now’.

Lauren: Yeah.

CUT TO: Opening Credits

CUT TO: People’s Revolution

Kelly: Okay let’s gather around like the family that we are. Emily…Whitney move down. Emily, can you sit over here with us? (Everyone joins Kelly near the couch for a meeting) All right. Next week is LA Fashion Week. I just want to be really clear about what’s going on here this week. Rules for Fashion Week: what’s expected of you is complete devotion. So any kind of concepts of like nine to five, LA, not happening here. I would plan to be here every night till at least 11:00. You’re gonna weak all black. I don’t wanna see your boobs, I don’t wanna see your piercings, if you have tattoos, I don’t really care, I don’t wanna see them. Do not roll your eyes at me. Do not question what it is we are asking you to do. I’m not here to be your friend, Emily, you’re not here to be their friend. We really care about ourselves more. We already know this job but we will do our best to help teach you as much as we can. One of the things that we need to talk about is celebrity outreach. I don’t think any of that’s happened yet.

Jessica: Working on that.

Kelly: Okay it’s a little late.

Jessica: We were help…I know but we were…

Kelly: No, we, we….nothing.

Jessica: Okay.

Kelly: It’s just too late.

Emily: That was supposed to be your responsibility Jessica.

Jessica: No and I have been working on that.

Kelly: You have any pres scheduled, for any of the clients?

Jessica: To come to the shows?

Kelly: No. Any kind of preview opportunities?

Jessica: What other sort of preview opportunities?

Whitney: Well for the Robin Anton one, aren’t there so many celeb…uh, women celebrities that have performed with her that we can reach out to?

Kelly: Yes. Good thinking. There you go! There you go! That’s right. Support is key. Support and delegation is key. All right. Let’s get to work. (Everyone gets up and goes back to work)

CUT TO: Teen Vogue Offices

Lauren is typing at her computer in the office she used to share with Whitney. She sadly looks over at what was once Whitney’s desk. She grabs her phone and calls Whitney. It cuts to People’s Revolution.

Lauren: Hey Whitney.

Whitney: Hi Lauren. How are you? (Cut to Teen Vogue)

Lauren: Hey what are you doing?

Whitney: Fashion Week is next week… (Cut to People’s Revolution) and there’s just a lot of things like riding on my back so… (Cuts to Teen Vogue) I wish you were here to help me.

Lauren: Oh… I wish I was there too. But I’m not. I’m in the closet. There’s no one in here and I’m in here all day.

Whitney: Oh god. I think we’re starting. I gotta go.

Lauren: Oh okay. I love you bye.

Whitney: (Cuts to People’s Revolution) K I love you bye. (They hang up and it cuts back to Teen Vogue as Lauren sits at her desk all by herself, looking sad)

CUT TO: That Night – Stephanie’s Apartment

Stephanie and Heidi are getting ready to go out.

Stephanie: So girls’ night. Spencer is totally not invited.

Heidi: I think I need to this like once a week or once every two weeks.

Stephanie: Oh really?

Heidi: Yeah.

Stephanie: All right. Now you’re stepping up the game. (They both laugh)

Heidi: It’s so weird like going back into that scene and like even going out is so crazy.

Stephanie: To Hollywood?

Heidi: Yeah! And like…to a club and stuff like…that used to be my life.

Stephanie: Well we’ll check out a different couple clubs tonight.

Heidi: Okay.

Stephanie: It’ll be good.

CUT TO: Vice

Heidi and Stephanie are walking to the club.

Stephanie: I’ve never been here but I like the name.

Heidi: I’ve never been here either.

Stephanie: It sounds tricky. (They approach the door)

Heidi: (To Bouncer) Hi. (They go inside the club. It cuts to inside where Heidi and Stephanie are sitting down) I would go out like Mondays and Tuesdays and Wednesdays and…

Stephanie: Gotta come back out. Cheers to many more nights. (They do cheers)

Heidi: To girls’ night out.

Stephanie: Yes. (It then cuts to another table where Audrina is with Chiara and a bunch of other people right by where Heidi and Stephanie are then back to Heidi and Stephanie) It’s good being out again.

Stephanie: I know. (Shows Audrina again)

Audrina: Oh! There you are! (Stephanie and Heidi look when they hear Audrina as she and Chiara order more drinks)

Stephanie: It looks like Audrina right there.

Heidi: Yeah. That’s definitely her. (Heidi and Stephanie keep looking and Audrina notices them staring at her)

Audrina: (Cut to Audrina’s table) Oh my god! Heidi’s here.

Chiara: She’s here?

Stephanie: (Cut to Heidi & Stephanie) You should say hi to Audrina.

Heidi: Yeah. I’d love to say hi, but I know, like…The whole Lauren thing. We were friends before they were friends. And then all of a sudden, when this happened…She stopped talking to me.

Stephanie: Because she only hears Lauren’s side.

Heidi: I don’t know. It’s kind of sad. I think I’m gonna go say something to her.

Stephanie: You should. (Heidi walks over to Audrina who is now by herself)

Heidi: Hi. Mind if I sit down for a sec? (Audrina moves over and Heidi sits next to her) Hi. How are you?

Audrina: Good.

Heidi: I know we’ve been like…So crazy. We were friends before. We always hung out and then…

Audrina: It’s just I try to stay out what’s not my business anymore because I don’t wanna get involved.

Heidi: I understand, but it’s just been like…It’s been really hard for me. It’s been like…There have been times, where I’ve just like sat cried and been like…So alone. You know and then like I need my girlfriends. You know like I need that support system. Like, I can’t be alone. It’s hard.

Audrina: But then, it’s kind of like, you have to learn…How to keep your friends while you’re dating someone. And that’s what I mean. It’s a learning process. Something you have to learn.

Heidi: I know. And I kind of want to get back to…Like Spencer and I have been having problems. And I understand…Not being able to…To hang out. Kind of stuff like that. If you ever, ever want to talk…If you ever want to hang out. Like…I’m here. You know. Like…

Audrina: I know. (Stephanie comes over and hands Heidi her drink and sits next to her)

Heidi: Thank you.

Stephanie: Hi.

Audrina: Hi. (Chiara come back to the table and sits next to Audrina)

Heidi: Hi Chiara.

Chiara: Hi, how are you?

Heidi: Hi how are you?

Chiara: Good. (To Stephanie) Hi I’m Chiara.

Stephanie: (Shakes hands with Chiara) Hi, I’m Stephanie. Nice to meet you.

Heidi: Well we’re gonna go. It was really good to see you. And um… (They hug) Anyways but take care.

Audrina: Sure.

Heidi: Bye Chiara.

Chiara: Bye. It was nice meeting you.

Stephanie: Bye nice meeting you. Bye Audrina. (They get up and leave)

Audrina: I did not expect Heidi and…to ever be here.

Chiara: We were having so much fun. Why? Why did s**t have to go down? But at least she’s making the effort.

Audrina: I give her that much.

Chiara: Realizing that she made a mistake.

Audrina: She knows she did. And that’s why…I don’t even like, want to get into it. I listened to what she had to say, but I’m just like…

Chiara: Yeah.

CUT TO: The Next Day – Room Service

Heidi and Stephanie are looking at stuff for Heidi’s apartment.

Heidi: Oh I’m so excited to like redo my apartment ‘cause I feel like, you know, with Spencer gone, my taste is kind of evolving and I get to do what I want to do to my apartment finally.

Stephanie: Instead of graffiti?

Heidi: Right. A little bit more of a grown up, mature apartment.

Stephanie: (Pointing at something) This is cute.

Heidi: (Pointing at a mirror) I love this mirror.

Stephanie: It’s flattering.

Heidi: (Laughs) It’s very tall.

Stephanie: Yeah.

Heidi: I actually have a mirror and like some other things that I need to get that I left at Lauren and Audrina’s house. And I don’t know. Audrina seemed pretty cool when we saw her last night so maybe…maybe I can like talk to her and try to get it or something.

Stephanie: You didn’t take your stuff?

Heidi: I left some stuff on accident. I moved out so quickly that I hardly had time to get everything, you know?

Stephanie: What if like Lauren got mad and like burned it all or poured like red wine on it?

Heidi: I bet they threw it away. I wouldn’t keep it. (Heidi laughs) No but I would love to like see Audrina. There’s no reason why Audrina and I should have a problem when we were friends first, you know?

Stephanie: I just think she’s like under Lauren’s wing and like not trying to piss off Lauren.

Heidi: She is. I don’t know.

CUT TO: Equinox Gym

Lauren and Whitney are working out together.

Whitney: I need to hold this for ten seconds.

Lauren: Good job. What are you guys doing right now at People’s Revolution?

Whitney: Um…

Lauren: Just getting ready for Fashion Week?

Whitney: Basically yeah. It’s just getting all the press to the shows and making sure that it’s being covered and then getting all the…the clothes together and just the production…

Lauren: So basically it’s kind of what we’ve done before but just more intense?

Whitney: Exactly. It’s what we’ve done before but it’s six at a time instead of like one at a time, you know?

Lauren: That’s crazy. You weren’t there the first time I met Kelly Cutrone, were you?

Whitney: No but I got a crying phone call. You had panicked. It was the first Young Hollywood party and you…I was prepping for it and you were going to get tickets, right?

Lauren: Yeah I need ‘em for Lawren Howell.

Whitney: And she was a little bit of a… (She laughs)

Lauren: Oh my god.

Whitney: Everyone says like watch out, she’s a little scary and I never saw that scary side. But there is this girl Jessica who’s like basically the boss in the LA office that….I don’t know maybe didn’t do what she was supposed to do, I didn’t know ‘cause I wasn’t there but she brought out her fangs.

Lauren: Her scary side?

Whitney: Yeah so…

Lauren: I wanna see the office like the space.

Whitney: It’s really, really cool.

Lauren: Is it?

Whitney: It’s really cool. I usually have a lunch break so maybe you could come by.

Lauren: Oh that’s good. Maybe I’ll come tomorrow. Do you have like friends there like…?

Whitney: It’s not like us working together. You know, there’s no one that I necessarily click with that I could….

Lauren: Nice to know I haven’t been replaced.

Whitney: Yeah you…never, never.

CUT TO: FIDM

Lauren walks in

Lauren: Hey.

Stephanie: Hey.

Lauren: I missed last week.

Stephanie: So did I. (Lauren sits down)

Lauren: Oh.

Stephanie: You did the homework that was due today?

Lauren: No I did the homework that was due last week.

Stephanie: Oh yeah. I went over it with her and she was like ‘This is wrong, this is wrong, this is wrong’. I did racing six times. (She laughs as Lauren looks at it) It’s so annoying.

Lauren: Oops.

Stephanie: So Heidi and I went to Vice last night and we saw Audrina and Chiara.

Lauren: You what?

Stephanie: Yeah Heidi and Audrina talked for a long time. And it kinda seems like they’re cool now. But…It was interesting.

Lauren: Huh…

Stephanie: Yeah. It was a crazy night.

CUT TO: Hillside Villas

Lauren is sitting on the couch writing in a notebook when Audrina comes in the door.

Lauren: Hey.

Audrina: Hi. What you doing?

Lauren: I’m writing down a shopping list.

Audrina: Oh. (Audrina joins Lauren on the couch) So what’s up?

Lauren: Um, just curious.

Audrina: What?

Lauren: Were you talking to Heidi at Vice last night?

Audrina: Yeah.

Lauren: I mean like you can be friends with her, no matter what I would just be careful if you’ve considered being good friends with her because it wouldn’t surprise me if she wanted to be friends with you to piss me off.

Audrina: I have no intentions of being friends…

Lauren: I know I’m just saying…I’m just telling you to be careful.

Audrina: I will.

Lauren: ‘Cause she’s someone who’s gonna stab you in the back two seconds later.

Audrina: Lauren, I have no intentions of being friends with her like…I have my good friends, I have you, you know what I mean, like I don’t need someone else in my life to…

Lauren: I know you don’t need her…

Audrina: To stir up drama but…

Lauren: But I just think that…I think that you’re a really nice person and sometimes people take advantage of that.

Audrina: Seriously…

Lauren: I would just be careful.

Audrina: Okay. You’ve been such a good friend to me and I’m not gonna like go behind your back and like hang out with someone that’s done bad things to you.

CUT TO: The Next Day – People’s Revolution

Lauren walks inside. Whitney sees her and she waves.

Whitney: Hi!

Lauren: How are you?

Whitney; Good how are you? (They hug)

Lauren: It’s so cool.

Whitney: I know. Yeah we’re just doing uh, styling for a photo shoot right now. (Lauren motions she’s gonna go sit down) Cool.

Jessica: Okay so… (Whitney stands back with everyone else) so yeah we’re gonna switch these to plastic hangers.

Whitney: Okay.

Jessica: What makes it easier for writing up the pulls also is if you try and separate it by designer…

Whitney: Mm-hmm.

Jessica: Everything that is pulled…

Whitney: Yes.

Jessica: We can just wheel it over and we enter everything into a computer system. What’s been shot, who wore it, when it’s coming out.

Whitney: Mm-hmm.

Jessica: All that sort of thing so then we track it.

Whitney: Okay cool.

Jessica: Thanks. (Whitney wheels the cart of clothes over)  (To Lauren) Want to help me?

Lauren: (She gets up) Oh wow. Yeah sure.

Whitney: Lauren you’re coming with me.

Lauren: Sorry I’m coming. (She follows Whitney) You okay there Whitney?

Whitney: Yeah I’m fine just moving. (Lauren helps her) We might not have time for lunch.

Lauren: That’s okay. (They stop the cart by a desk)

Whitney: So we’re just gonna record it over here.

Lauren: I’ll just read stuff to you.

Whitney: Okay. (Whitney is sitting at the desk recording as Lauren goes through the clothes) Um so this is morphine generation. We’re starting with, not that shirt, the one after it. So it’s a gray tee. (Lauren looks, finds it and takes it off the rack and Whitney types it in the computer) Gray tee. And then the next one is a…

Lauren & Whitney: Pink tee. (Whitney types it in. Emily watches them) Who makes that one?

Lauren: I’m so jealous you went to New York… (Looks at the shirt) I think it’s Bastion. (Emily comes over to them)

Whitney: Oh okay.

Emily: Hi.

Whitney: Hi.

Lauren: I’m playing assistant right now.

Emily: Oh you’re helping?

Lauren: Yeah.

Whitney: Yeah she’s a big help. We worked together at Teen Vogue.

Emily: Awesome. Well we got a huge schedule coming up with Fashion Week. We’re doing about eight shows so you know, we always bring on people for extra help so…

Lauren: Oh yeah if you need any help…

Emily: We’ll see. Maybe that will work out.

Whitney: We’ll put her to work.

Lauren: Okay.

Emily: Thanks guys. (She leaves)

Lauren: That’d be cool.

Whitney: It’d be awesome.

CUT TO: Hillside Villas

Audrina is in the kitchen when the doorbell rings. She opens the door and we see it is Heidi.

Audrina: Hello.

Heidi: Hey you. What are you doing?

Audrina: How are you? (They hug)

Heidi: Hi.

Audrina: You look cute. (She closes the door) A little messy. But it looks different, huh?

Heidi: So different. (Sees the mirror leaning up against the table) Oh there’s my mirror.

Audrina: (She touches the mirror) Yeah this is yours and then this is yours right? (She picks up a painting on the table on top of a box)

Heidi: Right that’s mine.

Audrina: ‘Cause it has like…

Heidi: (Holding the painting) Yeah that’s a painting from my mom’s friend.

Audrina: (Puts it down) It’s really cute. And this is yours too I think. (Heidi takes off her scarf as Audrina sits down on the couch) I don’t know… (Audrina opens the box)

Heidi: Yeah.

Audrina: It’s like…

Heidi: That’s okay. We don’t have to open that box. (She puts the lid back on the box) Memories of Lauren and I and ex-boyfriends.

Audrina: Oh…

Heidi: Fun.

Audrina: I think that was it. (She puts the painting back on the box as Heidi sits down) I don’t know

Heidi: …the box…yeah? (Looks around the apartment) It’s so awkward being in here. So how about Lauren and Stephanie being friends? I was just like this is too crazy.

Audrina: I know.

Heidi: Right now like…

Audrina: That’s really random.

Heidi: You don’t like me ‘cause of my boyfriend but you like his sister?

Audrina: That’s weird how the world works.

Heidi: I know. Well I think I’m gonna get outta here ‘cause I don’t really know when Lauren’s coming back. But if you ever want to hang out, give me a call.

CUT TO: That Night – Hillside Villas

Audrina is sitting at the counter when Lauren comes in.

Audrina: Hi so how was your day?

Lauren: Fine I’m just tired.

Audrina: Oh me too. I’m cleaning up

Lauren; Thanks. (She sits down across from Audrina at the table)

Audrina: A little bit.

Lauren: Is it messy?

Audrina: No there’s just like magazines everywhere. (She turns around to face Lauren. Lauren sees a set of keys on the table, the keys that once belonged to Heidi) I have something to tell you.

Lauren: Oh tell me.

Audrina: Well when you were gone today, Heidi came over.

Lauren: Did she just show up or did you talk to her?

Audrina: She called me and she’s like ‘Is it okay if I come and get my stuff ‘cause I’m redoing my apartment’.

Lauren: What stuff?

Audrina: She had that box that you put in a pile and the mirror…

Lauren: Did she like come in here and chill?

Audrina: She sat down for a few minutes yeah. She was saying like how weird it was being in here now.

Lauren: Then why the hell was she in here?

Audrina: I don’t know she came to get her stuff.

Lauren: Grab her stuff and leave then. Why is she like coming in here and like making herself at home? It’s not her home anymore.

Audrina: I don’t…I honestly don’t even know what to say about the whole thing. It’s just weird. (It then cuts to an air view of LA all lite up) <
