Lauren: When Heidi told Spencer to move out of the apartment, their relationship got more complicated than ever.

Heidi: I mean you’re not planning on seeing other people, right?

Lauren: (V.O.) Whitney got a new job at fashion PR company People’s Revolution.

Kelly: In order for you to really succeed, we would want you to come to New York and work with us during Fashion Week….

Whitney: Okay.

Lauren: (V.O.) My first meeting with Spencer’s sister Stephanie, had been less than friendly.

Stephanie: Heidi’s my family now. When you hate my brother, it makes me hate you.

Lauren: (V.O.) Little did I know, we were about to meet again.

CUT TO: FIDM

Lauren is in a computer class for her first class back at FIDM.

Professor: (Walks in) Hey everybody. So how’s everybody doing? Okay? (She starts taking role) Uh let’s see. Amber? And John? Hey John. Uh Lauren? (Lauren raises her hand) Hey Lauren. Uh Daniella, last name is Usher? Hi. Uh Stephanie Pratt? (Lauren looks surprised to hear Stephanie’s name called) Is she here? (Just then Stephanie walks in and sits down) Uh yeah. And you’re Stephanie, yeah?

Stephanie: Yeah sorry.

Professor: Okay. The first day, it’s difficult for some people…. (Stephanie looks over at Lauren) so just try to relax… (Stephanie looks shocked to see Lauren there) and enjoy the process.

CUT TO: Opening Credits

CUT TO: New York City – People’s Revolution

Whitney gets out of a cab and goes inside. It then cuts to inside. Whitney walks in a room and up to the desk of Kelly’s assistant.

Stefanie: (To person on the phone) One second. (To Whitney) Hi.

Whitney: Hi I’m Whitney. I’m here to see Kelly Cutrone.

Stefanie: Um… (To person on the phone) Hold on one second. (To Whitney) Um….just give me one second. She’s finishing up a phone call.

Kelly: Stefanie!

Whitney: Okay cool.

Stefanie: Okay?

Whitney: I’ll just…

Stefanie: (To Kelly) Yes?

Kelly: Make sure that everybody transfers to that other extension.

Stefanie: Oh okay. (Whitney is now sitting down waiting for Kelly)

Kelly: It’s ten after five.  Is Whitney here yet?

Stefanie: Yeah.

Kelly: What is she doing, standing in the hallway?

Stefanie: Yes.

Kelly: You can bring her in.

Stefanie: Okay.

Kelly: I want to go to this music meeting.

Stefanie: Okay.

Kelly: Okay? (Stefanie goes to get Whitney) Kelly’s ready for you.

Whitney: Okay great. (Stefanie leads her to Kelly’s office) Back there?

Kelly: (To Stefanie) Can you bring her in? ‘Cause I have to go. (Whitney walks in) Hey there. (Stefanie leaves)

Whitney: Hi.

Kelly: How are you?

Whitney: How are you?

Kelly: It’s crazy here today. (Whitney puts down her stuff)

Whitney: I know. I was noticing.

Kelly: (Shuts her laptop) Well there’s, you know, we’re doing all these fashion show here… (Whitney sits down) and then…we’re sending them to Paris, we’re sending them to Los Angeles…So one of the things is um, we’re gonna be working a lot with a brand from Australia, Sass and Bide.

Whitney: That’s awesome.

Kelly: So I’ll just give you a quick brief through here. Their show’s in the main tent of fashion week tomorrow. So here’s the problem. Normally, um, when people start, we like to give them all the rules which comes in this book here. (She shows Whitney a book and gives it to her)

Whitney: Okay.

Kelly: We don’t have time for that today. So what we’re gonna do is we’re gonna take you out and you’re gonna run the fitting with Sass and Bide.

Whitney: Okay.

Kelly: All right/

Whitney: Okay.

Kelly And then, just so you know, you have to wear black. I don’t know if you know this.

Whitney: Okay.

Kelly: Everybody wears black.

Whitney: Okay.

Kelly: Okay?

Whitney: Will do.

Kelly: Willing to do whatever it takes?

Whitney: I’m definitely willing to do whatever it takes.

Kelly: Okay.

Whitney: I mean that’s always been my work ethic.

Kelly: Okay. I hope so ‘cause people say that when they’re in that chair at the time and then the tables turn…

Whitney: I’m sure.

Kelly: Okay let’s go…

Whitney: It’s an awesome opportunity.

Kelly: Meet the designer. (They both get up and leave Kelly’s office)

Whitney: Yeah.

Kelly: Okay?

Whitney: Okay. Wow look at that coat.

Kelly: So this is our fifth floor which is kind of going kooky.

Whitney: Uh huh.

Kelly: Right now…Isn’t it great?

Whitney: It’s awesome.

Kelly: A lot of great clothes. (They walk up to the designers) This is Whitney.

Whitney: Hi.

Kelly: A new employee in our LA office.

Whitney: How are you?

Sarah Jane: Hi.

Whitney: Hi.

Kelly: Sarah Jane, Heidi.

Whitney: Hello.

Kelly: Sass and Bide.

Whitney: How are you? Nice to meet you.

Kelly: Which you will be working…

Whitney: Okay.

Kelly: With them tonight ‘cause I have to go. We have another event. But you’re gonna stay with the girls.

Whitney: I’m just here for whatever you guys need so…

Kelly: Okay?

Whitney: Okay.

Kelly: I’ll see you tomorrow.

Whitney: Right.

Kelly: Good luck. (She shakes Whitney’s hand) I know it’s gonna be a long night.

Whitney: Thank you yeah.

Kelly: We usually stop working at about…three in the morning.

Woman: Two thirty.

Kelly: Two thirty, three.

Whitney: Okay. (Kelly leaves)

CUT TO: LA – FIDM – Lauren’s computer class

Professor: …and then drag it and I have the exact opposite side so for those of you… (It shows Stephanie texting Heidi about Lauren being in her class) that weren’t good in matching your um, sides and flat sketching… (Stephanie looks over at Lauren) this is a perfect way to give you an exact sketch…

CUT TO: Food Court

Heidi is eating with Kim.

Heidi: And I have like three times the closet space amount of closet space.

Kim: Yeah. (Heidi phone beeps)

Heidi: Which is…

Kim: Great.

Heidi: Unbelievable.  (Heidi takes out her phone and looks at it, having gotten a text message from Stephanie) Oh my gosh. You know Stephanie, Spencer’s sister?

Kim: Spencer’s sister yeah.

Heidi: She just wrote me, ‘You won’t believe who’s in my computer class’.

Kim: Her friend?

Heidi: Lauren. Oh my god she must be freaking out.

Kim: Why are they in the same class together? What class?

Heidi: I don’t even know what to write her. Oh my god that is so crazy. ‘Go say hi’. (Kim laughs) I’m telling her to go say h.

CUT TO: FIDM

Professor: And you just hit print (Stephanie looks at Heidi’s response) and it usually prints right away. And if we ever have any trouble with it, we just call the technicians (Stephanie looks over at Lauren who is texting Audrina) and so you don’t have to worry about (Lauren moves her chair so no one can read what she is sending to Audrina) uh…something happening.

CUT TO: Epic Records

Audrina’s phone beeps and she looks at Lauren’s text.

Audrina: Oh my god. Lauren just texted me. Stephanie Pratt is in her computer class.

Chiara: Poor Lauren.

Audrina: She’s like freaking out right now. (Audrina texts Lauren back)

CUT TO: FIDM

Class is about to end as Lauren looks at her phone as Stephanie looks at her.

Professor: Yeah I didn’t say this but bring your jump drives in next week. Okay I’ll see you next week. Take care. (Lauren gets out of the room as quickly as she can)

CUT TO: New York City – People’s Revolution

It is night now. Whitney is helping out with the Sass and Bide fitting. A model is walking for the designers.

Virginia: We’re gonna have to figure out all of the looks.

Whitney: Okay.

Virginia: On the models…

Whitney: Okay.

Virginia: And it’ll just help the dressers.

Whitney: Yeah. (The designers fix the models clothes)

Virginia: So that we can have it, you know…

Whitney: Exact.

Virginia: Visual…

Whitney: Yeah.

Heidi: (To Whitney) Small wearing…when they’ve got…I was just saying um…we just think we might be a bit racy with everything so tight.

Whitney: You’re worried that it doesn’t look like ready to wear like no one…

Heidi: Sometimes you’ll get comments that something is not as wearable, it’s too like who’s gonna wear the tights like you know or…

Whitney: Oh…

Sarah Jane: You’d wear this, wouldn’t you?

Whitney: Yeah I mean I would but I think that you also wanna show the pants because I don’t know what you’ve done on all the other models but…

Heidi: No, no other ones show it.

Whitney: So maybe it would be nice just to have one to actually show what they look like. And how they actually fit.

Heidi: (To Model) Could you just do one more walk for us please? Thanks. (The model walks again)

Whitney: I mean people that are gonna be wearing these pants anyways are gonna…

Heidi: Yeah exactly.

Whitney: Wear them like…you know like someone that can’t wear it like this aren’t gonna buy the pants anyways.

Heidi: Buy them.

Whitney: So…

Heidi: No I mean I think…I like…I like it. (To model) Let’s keep you in that. Now we’ll get a photo (Model stands to take a photo) Thanks. Thanks Whitney.

Whitney: You’re welcome. (Whitney smiles, very happy they went with her suggestion)

CUT TO: Night – LA – Hillside Villas

Audrina walks in the door with Lauren sitting on the couch.

Audrina: Hey.

Lauren: How was work?

Audrina: I’m tired. (She walks over to Lauren. Lauren gives her a look about her day at school) Okay what’s up with your text message first of all?

Lauren: Okay when I sat down… (Audrina sits down) she wasn’t there she was late. And they called role and the woman called her name and I was like…’What?’

Audrina: Was she sitting by you?

Lauren: Yeah she was like two seats away from me. Or there was like one person in between us. Like seriously come on.

Audrina: I’m sorry but it’s kinda funny. Just really, really random that she would be in your class.

Lauren: If we were like in a lecture hall, it’d be so chill. I’d never even see the girl.

Audrina: ‘Cause there’s so many people.

Lauren: I’m in a class of like sixteen.

Audrina: Well just ‘cause she’s in your class doesn’t mean like…

Lauren: No I know I’m totally…I just hope she just leaves me alone, is my only thing.

Audrina: What a great way to start your day off.

Lauren: I know. (Audrina laughs)

CUT TO:  The Next Day – FIDM

Lauren walks into her computer class. When she walks in, Stephanie is already there in her seat. Lauren walks to her seat and sits down as Stephanie watches. Stephanie then gets up and walks over to Lauren.

Stephanie: Hey Lauren. I just wanted to say I’m really sorry about yelling at you.

Lauren: I didn’t mean to be a bitch to you. You have to understand the last time I saw you, you literally screamed in my face for no reason, you know?

Stephanie: I know. I just see them upset and I see that they’re not friends with you.

Lauren: Why are they…why did I do?

Stephanie: I mean I don’t…I don’t even wanna get into it.

Lauren: You don’t have to.

Stephanie: He’s a jerk sometimes. If anyone knows, I know and…

Lauren: Okay. Well I appreciate that.

Stephanie: I’m really sorry. I’m just gonna like stay out of whatever’s going on.

Lauren: I know that you’re trying to be a really good friend to Heidi and I appreciate that because I’m really protective over my friends too.

Stephanie: Well…

Lauren: I have nothing against you, I don’t dislike you. I just…

Stephanie: Okay.

Lauren: Don’t wanna get yelled at. (They both laugh)

Stephanie: I’m glad. Well it’ll never happen again. I’m really sorry.

Lauren: Okay well I appreciate your apologizing.

Stephanie: All right. (Stephanie goes back to her seat)

CUT TO: New York City – Sass and Bide Fashion Show

Everyone is getting ready for the show.

Whitney: Just making sure all the models are comfortable. (It shows Heidi, one of the designers, dressing a model. Then it cuts to Whitney) Okay models! If you’re dressed come line up over here! If you’re dressed, let’s line up! (Heidi comes up to Whitney) Hi.

Heidi: Hi.

Whitney: Yeah well basically what’s happening, the clothes are all set up over here, they’re already in order and they’re being steamed as we speak.

Kelly: (Walks over to them) Really quickly. How did everything go with the fittings?  She said it went great last night.

Heidi: Yeah, yeah no, good. It was nice.

Whitney: Oh yeah it was wonderful yeah.

Kelly: What happened with the legging thing? We went with your choice on the leggings?

Whitney: Oh yeah well we were nervous about the butt showing.

Kelly: (To Heidi) Did she know what she was doing

Heidi: Yeah she did it she got it. (Cuts to Whitney standing backstage with someone)

Woman: As soon as um, Kelly goes to the director’s booth…

Whitney: Mm-hmm.

Woman: All your models will be lined up…

Whitney: Mm-hmm.

Woman:  And you’ll be pushing them. So Kelly will say ‘Go for the next’.

Whitney: Mm-hmm.

Woman: You’re gonna say the girl.

Whitney: Mm-hmm.

Woman: For the girl…the model’s name say, you know ‘Daria, gone. (It cuts to Kelly)

Kelly: Is Whitney on clear com?

Whitney: (Cuts to Whitney) Yes I’m here.

Woman: She’s with me.

Kelly: (Cuts to Kelly) All right let’s go dark. We’re ready to start. We’re starting. (The stage goes dark and the fashion show begins) Go for the first girl.

Woman: (To model) Go, go. First model gone. (The first model walks)

Kelly: Go for the next girl. (The next model goes) Okay Whitney go for Veronica.

Whitney: (To Veronica) Go. (Veronica walks) Veronica gone.

Kelly: There you go. Go for Cotia.

Whitney: Cotia go. Cotia! Cotia!

Kelly: Do you have her or no?

Woman: We’re out of order.

Whitney: Totally out of order.

Sarah Jane: What the f**k is going on?

Kelly: Stop it. Stop getting out of order now. Who do you have with you now?

Whitney: Uh…we have Hollis…

Kelly: Go for Hollis.

Whitney: Hollis….Hollis…Hollis.

Kelly: Go for Hollis. Go for Hollis.

Whitney: Hollis, Hollis, go, go, go, go. (Hollis walks) Hollis gone.

Woman: Devin?

Kelly: All right they’re fine. Okay go for Alexandra.

Whitney: Alexandra go. (She walks) Alexandra gone.

Kelly: Thank you Whitney. Okay all right. We have one more left. Go for the next model.

Whitney: Last model gone. (Everyone backstage cheers as the last model walks then cut to the stage as all the models walk out and the designers go on stage to bow then cuts to backstage as everyone cleans up)

Woman: Oh my god. All the bags should be…

Kelly: All right. (High fives Virginia) All right bitches! (She high fives Whitney) Done! (High fives someone else) Done!

Man: Yeah!

Kelly: Done! (To Whitney) So I just want to tell you that I’m really happy with what you did with the pants. You have a voice and I think your voice is meaningful.

Whitney: Okay good.

Kelly: And the designers liked it.

Whitney: Good.

Kelly: So I think that’s great. So when you get out to LA, I mean, your role is gonna really increase. I think your training at Teen Vogue, is like you’ve really built upon that now, so we’re gonna expect a lot from you just so you know.

Whitney: I hope so. Yes. No after this, this was so exciting for me and I mean I had so much fun.

Kelly: All right.

Whitney: Okay.

Kelly: Great job. (They high five) I’m proud of you.

Whitney: Thank you.

Kelly: Okay. (They hug)

CUT TO: LA – Heidi & Spencer’s Apartment

Stephanie is helping Heidi paint the apartment.

Stephanie: Okay, green.

Heidi: Yeah be careful not to get it…

Stephanie: All over me?

Heidi: All over you. (Stephanie pours the paint into the dish) It’s supposed to be like fun painting not disastrous painting.

Stephanie: I don’t think we can handle this.

Heidi: Uh…

Stephanie: Here (She puts a paintbrush in the dish for Heidi as Heidi picks it up to paint)

Heidi: Thanks.

Stephanie: Uh huh.

Heidi: And uh yeah just don’t paint the wood thing. (They both start painting: Heidi – the wall and Stephanie – the counter area)

Stephanie: I really like this color.

Heidi: Yeah me too. This is the color I had when I lived with…her.

Stephanie: Lauren?

Heidi: Yup. So how’s school going?

Stephanie: I’m doing so bad in this class. It’s so hard. I hate computers.

Heidi: You have class with Lauren. I don’t even know what to say to that. Have you seen her?

Stephanie: Yeah. I sit like a person away from her.

Heidi: You guys should like pass notes and become friends.

Stephanie: I mean the class is like eight weeks and I did apologize. I just like I told her I was gonna stay out of your fight.

CUT TO: That Night – Lola’s

Lauren is having dinner with Lo and Audrina.

Audrina: I don’t care that she apologized. There’s still something I just don’t trust about her.

Lo: I don’t trust her either.

Lauren: Imagine if you had a brother or sister who was like did really mean things to people, you know?

Lo: Yeah but…

Lauren: Would you want people…would you want people to think you were bad too?

Audrina: Yeah but you don’t know anything about her either.

Lauren: Yeah I know.

Audrina: Just keep your guard up. Be careful.

Lauren: I don’t even…I don’t need a guard. I’m not like putting nay trust in her. I’m just being nice to her. She’s a nice girl.

Lo: Just don’t put yourself in any vulnerable positions with her.

Lauren: I won’t.

Audrina: You’re pretty smart about that. You know what to say and what not to say, you know? I don’t know.

Lauren: What’s she…what’s the girl gonna do to me, you know?

CUT TO: The Next Day – Bolthouse Offices

Heidi and Kim are walking back to the office.

Heidi: I don’t know. I guess that um, like Lauren and Stephanie are talking now.

Kim: Kind of awkward?

Heidi: I mean like she can hang out with whoever she wants…

Kim: Yeah.

Heidi: But it just doesn’t really make sense that she’s…she can be friends with Stephanie, who is Spencer’s sister…

Kim: Right.

Heidi: But she can’t be friends with me…

Kim: Yeah.

Heidi: Because of Spencer.

Kim: That’s a little weird yeah.

Heidi: And it’s weird for Stephanie. It’s like ‘you’ve been here for the past year, you know what’s happening’.

Kim: Yeah. What does Spencer have to say about this whole thing? Does he know?

Heidi: I mean I’m sure he’s not gonna like it.

CUT TO: That Night – Stephanie’s Apartment

Spencer and Stephanie are sitting on the couch, eating dinner.

Stephanie: So what’s going on with you and Heidi?

Spencer: I think relationship vacation turned into um…

Stephanie: End? (Spencer nods)

Spencer: I should be asking you. I don’t know. I don’t talk to her.

Stephanie: Well I just like…I’m sick of choosing sides.

Spencer: Don’t bitch about being on sides ‘cause you’re not on my side.

Stephanie: You’re so mature.

Spencer: Do you think I can eat in peace without…?

Stephanie: You’re so lame. You’re so homeless and so lame. You’re a real candidate for Heidi. Pretty Heidi, loser Spencer.

Spencer: I don’t even hear anything you say. It’s just….

Stephanie: You really don’t wanna know what she thinks about you?

Spencer: Nope.

Stephanie: So you’re just gonna live here and never talk about your feelings with me?

Spencer: I can’t tell you anything ‘cause I can’t trust you. Tell you one thing, you uh, tell Heidi. I tell you another thing, you can tell LC. Next thing you…

Stephanie: Oh my god.

Spencer: Next thing, you’ll be telling Brody things. And then…everybody I don’t want to know things, will know things so…I just can’t trust you. See, that’s the problem. So I can’t say anything.

Stephanie: I don’t know why you can’t trust me.

Spencer: Why do you think? You got school to LC and you go to the clubs with Heidi.

Stephanie: Well I’ m always here to help you ‘cause number one I am your sister.

CUT TO: The Next Day – FIDM

Lauren and Stephanie are walking to go eat.

Stephanie: So yeah I totally quit smoking.

Lauren: Congratulations.

Stephanie: I know. Now I can like breathe when I walk up stairs.

Lauren: And you’ll live longer.

Stephanie: Right?

Lauren: The whole no cancer thing, that’s good.

Stephanie: I know. I can always stop going to tanning beds. (Cut to them sitting a table eating)

Lauren: What did you get on the test?

Stephanie: I got a B. I know, I know.

Lauren: Good.

Stephanie: I’m so excited.

Lauren: That’s good.

Stephanie: I’m totally gonna put it on the fridge.

Lauren: Really? I feel like if I did that, Audrina would make fun of me. I’d probably do it anyways.

Stephanie: I live by myself so I can do that kinda stuff.

Lauren: I thought you lived with your brother.

Stephanie: Oh yeah. I try to forget about that. (Lauren laughs) He’s so annoying.

Lauren: Sorry.

Stephanie: I try to talk to him and he’s just like…he’s saying he doesn’t trust me now. But like…

Lauren: Why?

Stephanie: He was like ‘Well you go to school with Lauren and you’re best friends with Heidi’ who’s like you’re just between like all of it. And I was like I know I don’t wanna be in between all of it.

Lauren: He can’t hate you for being a nice person. That’s silly.

Stephanie: It’s like treading on thin ice, coming home every day.

Lauren: That kinda sucks.

Stephanie: I know. It’s like…

Stephanie: Spencer and Heidi, it’s like their word or nothing.

Lauren: Sounds fun. (They both laugh) Wait are you even allowed to talk to me? I’m not kidding. I don’t wanna get you in trouble.

Stephanie: I’ll be like ‘We’re doing homework’ or something.

Lauren: For our computer class?

Stephanie: I’m serious. I know. I’m serious. But when they do find out, it’s not gonna be pretty. (It then pans out to an air view of FIDM and LA)
