Lauren: (V.O.) Whitney really messed up at the photo shoot for Teen Vogue. And Lisa let her know it.

Lisa: You just need to step it up.

Lauren: (V.O.) Heidi found out that Spencer wasn’t taking their wedding plans very seriously.

Heidi: You haven’t told your parents that we’re getting married?

Spencer: I’m waiting to have that conversation.

Lauren: (V.O.) And she had gotten a big promotion at Bolthouse but she had lost Elodie as a friend.

Elodie: You don’t even know what’s wrong and what’s right anymore.  It’s so sad.

Lauren: (V.O.) I found out that Jason had a girlfriend who quickly became his fiancé.

Brandon: Just got engaged, Jason and Katja, it’s to you.

Lauren: (V.O.) I really needed to get away. And what better way to do that then to go to Vegas and surprise Brody for his birthday.

CUT TO: Hillside Villas

Audrina: Did you get Brody anything?

Lauren: We’re flying to Vegas.

Audrina: I know. Oh that’s his present?

Lauren: He gets a present too?

Audrina: They’re already there, aren’t they?

Lauren: Yeah.

Audrina: Brody doesn’t know about the surprise, right?

Lauren: He seriously has no idea. (Audrina laughs) So the girls are gonna be here any minute.

Audrina: Justin’s gonna meet us there.

Lauren: At the airport?

Audrina: Yeah he’s meeting me at the airport.

Lauren: Okay. Is he okay with being like the only guy?

Audrina: Well yeah. I mean he’s gonna be with me and he said that, you know… (She shrugs)

Lauren: Should be interesting. (Lauren laughs)

CUT TO: Opening Credits

CUT TO:  Heidi & Spencer’s Apartment

Spencer: So are you looking forward to our anniversary on Saturday?

Heidi: I’m so excited.

Spencer: (Sits next to her by the counter) We have our spa day at Burke William’s, massages, facials, you know. And then, best of all, we’re having dinner at our anniversary spot.

Heidi: Have you told your parents about the wedding yet?

Spencer: I think I’m gonna tell them about the wedding after the wedding.

Heidi: No…

Spencer: Yeah

Heidi: That’s not the deal. No it’s not.

Spencer: What’s the big deal?

Heidi: What do you think, I’m gonna come home and be like ‘Surprise! We’re married’ like…no. I’m not gonna be that girl.

Spencer: Who would not want you to be their daughter-in-law? Hello, nobody. (Holds up his coffee) Well cheers to the best year of my life. I can’t believe it’s been a year ‘cause I’m just having so much fun.

Heidi: (They do cheers with their coffee) Cheers.

CUT TO: Los Angeles International Airport

Justin is sitting waiting for everyone.

Girls: (in the car) Vegas! Vegas! Vegas!

Lauren: He brought a guitar. (To Audrina) Is he gonna sing to you?

Audrina: He always does. (The girls get out of the car.) Justin! (Audrina walks over to him) You brought your guitar. (They hug and kiss) Hi. How long have you been here, a long time?

Justin: (Sits back down) Not too long.

Audrina: Ready for Vegas?

Lauren: Audrina! (Goes back toward the girls)

Audrina: Are you gonna get the baggage? (She gets no reply from Justin)

Lauren: Is Justin-Bobby even gonna say hi to us?

Lo: He might still be mad at us for calling him Justin-Bobby. (All the girls walk over to Justin with their bags)

Audrina: Ready? (Justin gets up and grabs his stuff) Can’t we just do roadside check in?

Jill: It’s so much faster. Let’s just do that.

Audrina: We can just check our stuff in here, can’t we?

Justin: No, I’m gonna carry mine on.

Audrina: Let’s just go in. (They walk inside the airport. Cuts to inside the airport.)

Lauren: Justin, are you gonna serenade us?

Jill: I asked him. He said no.

Lo: No? Too bad.

CUT TO: Las Vegas, NV

The limo stops in front of the Palms. Justin and Audrina get out of the limo first, holding hands. Then the girls get out.

Lo: I’m so excited. Yay we’re finally here. Wee! Yay Vegas!

CUT TO: Brody’s Suite

Brody is there with a couple friends.

Frankie: Happy birthday Brody.

Brody: Cheers. (They do cheers) Good birthday.

Frankie: Happy birthday to Brody.

Brody: All right guys. Dude I’m having fun bro. I’m loving…I’m stoked to be here. (Someone knocks on the door. Brody gets up) (To Frankie) Yeah you’re not getting this.

Frankie: Room service is here. Hey…it’s on me though.

Brody: What is?

Frankie: Here.

Brody: Woah, woah hold on. (Frankie gets out his wallet) Shut up.

Frankie: Pay for room service.

Brody: ‘Oh pay for room service’. No I’m not paying for room service.

Frankie: It’s on me bro.

Brody: Idiot. (Brody opens the door)

Frankie: Look at my surprise here.

Girls: Happy birthday!

Frankie: Oh!

Brody: (Hugs Lauren) Oh my god! Look at this!

Lo: (The girls and Justin walk in) Happy birthday.

Brody: Oh my god.

Lo: Whoa.

Brody: Shut…shut…shut…

Frankie: Oh!

Brody: Shut up. Oh my god…

Lauren: (Runs over to Frankie and hugs him) How are you?

Brody: Holy…you guys are not really here right now. We’re about to get crazy now.

Lauren: Cheers, happy birthday Brody. (They do cheers)

Lo: Cheers!

Brody: (Justin already does it before everyone else) Oh wait, oh wait, oh what is this, wait, what is... Oh you already took…

Lo: You already took it?

Justin: I’ve been waiting for you guys.

Brody: What is this? Waiting for us? (They do cheers again)

Frankie: Brody’s birthday.

All: Happy birthday!

Frankie: Happy birthday Brody.

Lo: Woo!

Brody: Thank you guys for coming. I love all of you. I’m glad you guys are here with me.

Lauren: We are going in that pool tonight.

Lo: We’re gonna have so much fun this weekend.

Audrina: Yeah.

Justin: I’m already there. (Lauren hugs Brody)

CUT TO: LA – Bolthouse Offices

Elodie is chatting with Michelle, the executive assistant.

Elodie: Hey.

Michelle: Hi.

Elodie: So what’s up?

Michelle: Just really busy.

Elodie: Really?

Michelle: Yes.

Elodie: Aren’t you pissed that Heidi has her own office?

Michelle: Of course.

Elodie: I think everybody is. Who does that?

Michelle: People that want to move up, I guess.

Elodie: Yeah I guess, you know…So I don’t know if you’ve heard but I gave my notice.

Michelle: Shut up. (Elodie nods)

Elodie: Yeah.

Michelle: You’re serious? (Elodie nods) Wow…

Elodie: I just think that I can take the next step and if it’s not here, it’s somewhere else.

Michelle: You don’t think it’s worth it to stick it out for something else?

Elodie: I just think everything, you know…

Michelle: The whole Heidi…

Elodie: Everything that happened with Heidi, the whole Heidi situation…I just feel like I’ll be better off…

Michelle: Oh my god.

Elodie: Yeah.

Michelle: Wow.

Elodie: Today’s my last day so…

Michelle: Oh my god, Elodie.

Elodie: Saying goodbye to everybody. Is she walking in? (They look and see Heidi heading into her office) Dun, dun, dun… (Michelle laughs) Okay bye. (Goes back to her desk)

Brent: (Goes over to Heidi’s office and knocks) Hey you.

Heidi: Hi. How are you doing?

Brent: Good. Everything set for Emmy’s tomorrow night?

Heidi: Um…tomorrow night is my anniversary also so…um…is it okay if I get it covered, it’s all set, it’s all good?

Brent: I don’t care what you do, as long as…

Heidi: Yeah.

Brent: …It’s covered and someone’s covering for you, then we’re all good.

Heidi: Okay perfect.

Brent: Okay.

Heidi: Thanks Brent. (He leaves)

CUT TO: Bolthouse Offices – Later in the day

Heidi walks over to Elodie’s desk.

Heidi: Hi.

Elodie: Hi.

Heidi: (Sits down) You working on the event?

Elodie: Oh yeah. It’s so busy.

Heidi: So everything’s set right? The red carpet’s set everything for the Emmy’s?

Elodie: Yeah.

Heidi: Um, tomorrow night is my anniversary so…

Elodie: So you want me to cover for you?

Heidi: Yeah.

Elodie: Sure.

Heidi: Okay.

Elodie: Anything for you.

Heidi: You know that, you know, it’s business, nothing personal, right?

Elodie: Absolutely. I couldn’t agree more. Totally.

Heidi: Okay.

Elodie: Okay.

Heidi: As long as everything’s okay.

Elodie: Yeah. Oh yeah.

Heidi: It’ll be great.

Elodie: It should be no problem so I hope you have a good time.

Heidi: All right thanks Elodie.

Elodie: Okay. Bye. (Heidi gets up and goes back to her office)

CUT TO: Las Vegas – Lauren & Lo’s Hotel Room

They are changing clothes.

Lo: Justin, seriously, has not spoken one word to us.

Lauren: I think he’s mad. He has every right to be mad. I wasn’t very nice to him.

Lo: Well I wasn’t very nice to him either and like I feel bad but…

Lauren: (Holding up shoes) How do I feel about these? This is a Mary Jane. It dresses it. It makes it a little more…

Lo: Just try one on.

Lauren: I’ll try one on.

Lo: I just…okay…first bet. The first person to make Justin-Bobby smile, wins, okay? That’s the first bet of the weekend. First bet.

CUT TO: Club

Everyone is there. Lauren sits next to Brody.

Lauren: Look at that.

Brody: Oh!

Lauren:…My seat next to the birthday boy.

Brody: Ooh! (Puts his arm around her) I got the most beautiful date in the house. She’s coming on my spinning bed tonight. Watch out.

Frankie: Oh!

Brody: I really appreciate all you guys coming for my birthday, my 24^th.

Lauren: We love you Brody.

Brody: Cheers

Taylor: Happy birthday Brody.

Brody: You know what? I don’t know where Spencer and Heidi are. His birthday is exactly eight days before mine.

Frankie: Did he call you or anything?

Brody: No. I texted him ‘happy birthday’ ‘cause it’s his birthday. I will always love him, he always has a place in my heart, but at the same time, it’s this. Somebody who thrives on drama, me, I wanna separate myself from that person because I just wanna live life…

Lauren: Here…

Brody: Have a great time…cheers to that.

Lauren: To life and true friends. (They do cheers)

Brody: It’s like, that’s the truth.

Lo: Hey Lauren. We want to get a shot for Justin. We’re trying to make peace.

Jill: Yeah but he’s not here. (Just then, Audrina and Justin arrive)

Justin: Hey.

Brody: Hey!

Justin: What are you doing?

Jill: Justin, hey Justin. We bought you a shot. (Justin and Audrina sit down)

Audrina: No more shots. (Justin sticks his tongue out in disgust)

Lo: He will like not even talk to us.

Lauren: Happy birthday. (Brody kisses her cheek)

CUT TO: Another club

They all go to another place. Lauren is talking with Frankie.

Frankie: What are you gonna do about Brody?

Lauren: I wished him a happy birthday.

Frankie: You know what? I’m tired of this like wishing him a happy birthday, ‘we’re friends’. Whether you want to admit it or not, and Brody wants to admit it or not, you guys can’t stop laughing at each other, looking at each other…

Lauren: We’re friends. We like each other’s company.

Frankie: Yeah, yeah, yeah. You guys are like…you have this chemistry. And I know both of you are attracted to each other so what are you guys waiting for?

Lauren: Frankie, we tried more than friends. It doesn’t work with us.

Frankie: Once, once and what happened? Think, think…

Lauren: All we did was fight.

Frankie: Because of Spencer and Heidi.

Lauren: No.

Frankie: Yes. You guys didn’t fight ‘cause of you guys. Think about it. (Cut to inside the club. Audrina is on the Justin’s lap and he is touching her leg and Lauren is now with Brody)

Lauren: (To Lo, who is acting goofy, with her legs in the air) No. (To Brody) I just saw Lo’s Britney.

CUT TO: The Next Day – Las Vegas – Brody’s Suite

Brody: Wow, we were out of our minds last night.

Frankie: You gotta do it all over again tonight.

Taylor: Last night was child’s play man. Tonight is the night.

Frankie: I think you should be getting serious with Lauren. Yesterday you had dinner with you two like laughing like you’re all in love and stuff. Maybe…

Brody: We’re friends.

Taylor: Would you ever get back together with her? ( Brody doesn’t answer)

Frankie: I think nothing better than my two best friends dating.

Taylor: Me and Brody? (Frankie bursts out laughing and they all join in) Come on now.

CUT TO: Palms Hotel – The Pool

Lauren, Lo and Jill are chilling by the pool.

Lo: I haven’t seen Audrina all day.

Jill: Me either.

Lauren: I texted her to make sure she could get home okay and she was fine so…

Lo: We bought a drink for Justin, he didn’t even acknowledge us.

Jill: I don’t think he likes us.

Lo: He still has said maybe three words to me.

Lauren: I think it’s awkward for him because he knows that, I mean, we’re not like…part of his fan club.

Lo: Yeah but I mean we want to be friends with him, like…

Jill: Let’s buy him another shot tonight.

Lo: Like ‘Justin, round two’.

Jill: Yeah. (They all laugh)

Lauren: Oh where are the boys?

Lo: Are they coming to the pool?

Lauren: Mm-hmm.

Lo: What’s going on with you and Brody?

Lauren: It’s like I adore Brody but just in a friendly way.

Lo: Well now that Jason’s taken, you should go for Brody. (She laughs)

Lauren: You guys are lame.

CUT TO: That Night – Las Vegas – Pure Nightclub

As Lauren is dancing with everyone, Brody comes up behind her, dancing. As this happens, Lo is hooking up with Frankie.

Brody: Where’s my birthday kiss?

Lauren: You want a birthday kiss?

Brody: Hell, yes! (They give each other looks as Audrina watches. Lauren and Brody kiss which Audrina notices)

Frankie: Hey Brody! Happy birthday Brody! (They do cheers)

Lo: (Sitting next to Lauren) Hey! You kissed Brody! (Lauren then looks over at Brody who is dancing goofily. He points at her and she laughs)

CUT TO: LA – Don Antonio’s – Spencer & Heidi’s anniversary dinner

They go in, where their table is all decorated with flowers and candles and the restaurant is empty.

Spencer: Oh, surprise, surprise!

Heidi: Oh my gosh. (They sit down) Look at this.

Spencer: Happy anniversary.

Heidi: What a great fiancé you are.

Spencer: I wish this was how we always had our dinners at Don Antonio’s.

Heidi: I know. I’m excited to be here, not at work. (She laughs)

Spencer: Brent said you could have it off for your anniversary?

Heidi: Yeah he said it doesn’t matter as long as it’s covered.

Spencer: Who’s covering it?

Heidi: Elodie. This is so nice.

CUT TO: Las Vegas – Brody’s Suite

Audrina: It’s rotating right now. (Lauren moves the bed)

Lo: Are we too fat?

Lauren: There it is. (She gets the bed to move. Lauren sits on it with the girls as everyone shouts at once) What?

Frankie: Where is Justin?

Audrina: I don’t know.

Lo: Audrina…

Audrina: I’m with my friend.

Lo: Justin hates us. He hates us. We’ve really tried to be really nice to him he still won’t give us the time of day.

Audrina: He’s trying to like be nice to all my girlfriends…

Lo: I don’t care if he opens up. I don’t need to…

Audrina: He doesn’t open up to anyone but me. It’s me and him. It’s none of anyone else’s business.

Lo: It’s just like he could like at least respond when we say hi.

Audrina: You know what? I’ll like, blow him off. I’ll never talk to him again…just to make all you guys happy. It’s fine.

Lo: No, no, no.

Lauren: (Gets up) Okay I’m leaving.

Audrina: She’s gonna be mad at me now…

Lo: She’s not mad at you.

Audrina: She ran out, she’s mad. You know what? I’m done. I know you guys don’t like Justin. I get it. (Cuts to Lauren sitting outside the room alone then to Audrina starting to leave then back to Lauren then to Audrina opening the door and leaving)

CUT TO: LA – Heidi & Spencer’s anniversary dinner

Heidi: What a nice relaxing day we had, nice relaxing evening…

Spencer: I’m so excited that we’re eating all this. (Heidi’s phone rings) They say it’s rude to answer the phone on anniversary dinners.

Heidi: (Answers her phone) Hello?

Michelle: Heidi, it’s Michelle.

Heidi: Oh hey Michelle. What’s going on?

Michelle: I’m down here and it’s a mess. We’re trying to get set up. Who’s supposed to be here?

Heidi: Elodie’s not there?

Michelle: Uh no.

Heidi: She said that she was working this event.

Michelle: Elodie quit. Yesterday was her last day.

Heidi: She quit yesterday?

Michelle: We need you down here now.

Heidi: Uh…okay. I’ll see you soon.

Spencer: ‘See you soon’?

Heidi: Nobody’s there covering the event and I have to get there right now. I mean I wanna stay and do this but…I just got this promotion and you were the one who wanted me to get this promotion too. All right let’s get going. So I love you.

Spencer: No you don’t.

Heidi: Spence, I gotta go. (They get up and leave)

CUT TO: Las Vegas – Brody’s Suite

Lauren is sitting on the bed, talking to Brody.

Lauren: Audrina left and she’s mad.

Brody: Well listen that is that. That’s no reason for you to be upset.  Not even upset but even having to deal with that. Justin has no problem with you. He just a little problem with Lo, that’s all. I swear to God. And no, no, no listen. That’s really…I’m being very honest.

Lauren: Do you know what Lo did to him?

Brody: He said ‘I have no problem with Lauren’.

Lauren: You know what Lo did to him? She called him Justin-Bobby.

Brody: Look, no, shh…I’m not on anybody’s side. I’m just trying to mediate the situation here, it’s like that’s why he has a little bit of a problem with Lo. I’m just trying to mediate.

Lauren: Will you stop…

Brody: ‘Cause I see everybody’s point.

Lauren: …Having other people’s argument…no.

Brody: I see everybody’s point.

Lauren: Brody…

Brody: I see Lo’s point, I see his point, I see your point, I see everybody’s point.

Lauren: Brody…

Brody: Is that a problem?

Lauren: Every time we’re arguing, it’s an argument that should be had by completely separate people.

Brody: We’re not arguing, I don’t…we’re not arguing. I’m not arguing. I’m just discussing.

Lauren: We’re absolutely arguing.

Brody: Well then stop arguing. Come, come. (Pulls her close to him)

Lauren: Just stop arguing with me.

Brody: Can we just sleep outside and relax?

Lauren: No I don’t wanna sleep outside.

Brody: Please? We’ll just take a nap. And then we’ll roll outside.

Lauren: You’re a jerk and I’m mad at you.

Brody: (Kisses her head) Why am I a jerk? I’m not a jerk.

Lauren: ‘Cause you stand up for people you shouldn’t.

Brody: Well you know what? I stand up for everybody. Everybody has a side.

Lauren: I stand up for my friends too. Are you gonna promise not to stand up for Justin?

Brody: I mean I’ll promise…no. I’m standing up for Justin. I like Justin. I like to see all sides. (They kiss) Come, come. Let’s take a nap. (Cuts to an air view of Las Vegas)
