Lauren: (V.O.) Even dream jobs have their drawbacks. Heidi’s cool nightlife job turned out to be a 9-5 desk job.

Heidi: I’m at this job that I absolutely hate.

Lauren: (V.O.) I was trying to be a good intern and a good girlfriend.

Jane: I thought you might wanna take it in but you don’t have to be there if you don’t care.

Lauren: Sorry, it’s my boyfriend’s birthday party.

Lauren: (V.O.) But Jason’s birthday didn’t go exactly like I’d hoped.

Heidi: Happy birthday!

Lauren: Thank you for not seeing by me, that’s cool.

Lauren: (V.O.) Now it was fashion week and I didn’t want to hear about boys for awhile but with Heidi’s anniversary coming up I knew I wouldn’t hear about anything else.

CUT TO: Restaurant

Heidi, Lauren and Audrina are talking.

Heidi: Me and Jordan’s anniversary is on Wednesday.

Audrina: What anniversary is it?

Heidi: Six months. (They all laugh)

Lauren: Is that the exact date? When you like became…? What was it like your first kiss or…?

Audrina: Your first date?

Heidi: No when he officially asked me out.

Lauren: Didn’t he ask you out with like a bunch of lilac or lilies? 

Heidi: Yeah he asked me out with lilies and then a note.

Lauren: That was cute.

Audrina: How did he do that?

Lauren: A hundred lilies…I remember him setting that up.

Audrina: That was sweet.

Lauren: He was so sweet.

Heidi: That was sweet.

Audrina: What are you guys gonna do?

Heidi: I don’t know I kinda want him to surprise me. I’ve never been with someone longer than this.

Audrina: It’ll be fine. It’s all up to Jordan. He better make it good.

Lauren: Do you remember like how big of a deal six months used to be? 

Heidi: It is.

Lauren: Like if you were in high school and you were a good girl, like six months you gave it up. (They all laugh)

CUT TO: Opening Credits

CUT TO: Bolthouse Offices

Heidi is playing solitaire on her computer.

Brent: Hey Heidi. Heidi! (Heidi goes into his office) Have a seat. (She sits down) How do I say this? We want to try to integrate you into working into the clubs.

Heidi: Oh great!

Brent: Clubs, whole different animal. Hundreds of people like instantly things will change for you. So what we wanna do is have you work Wednesday assisting Elodie, great amazing way to meet people and you know so be prepared. (Heidi laughs)

Heidi: All right. (She stands up) Thanks Brent.

Brent: All right. Hey you’re welcome. (She leaves his office and goes back to her desk. She calls Elodie)

Elodie: Bolthouse Events.

Heidi: Hey you work Wednesday nights don’t you?

Elodie: Yeah.

Heidi: Me too.

Elodie: What?

Heidi: I’m gonna start working Wednesday nights with you.

Elodie: You are? Yay! So you’ll be working this Wednesday?

Heidi: I don’t know if I’ll be working this Wednesday. Uh!

Elodie: What?

Heidi: Wednesday is our anniversary. We’re gonna go out to dinner and go bowling.

Elodie: (Laughs) Okay, Miss “I-Have-A-Really-Big-Personal-Schedule.” (Heidi looks upset)

CUT TO: FIDM (Fashion Institute Of Design and Merchandising)

Lauren is walking to class. Jason is sitting his car. He gets out when she passes by him.

Jason: How’s it goin’?

Lauren: Hey what are you doing here?

Jason: Uh, just wanted to talk to you real quick. Um, about the other night. Uh, birthday party. You seemed like you were a little upset when we departed from dinner.

Lauren: You just hurt my feelings.

Jason: You know understand I’d be mad if you did it to me too.

Lauren: Well no I wasn’t like mad I was just kinda like bummed because I hadn’t been with you all day…

Jason: Yeah.

Lauren: So I thought that like since you were with your friends all day like you’d wanna spend more time with me at night.

Jason: Yeah. It was just like one of those things where all those people like Small, Sean, Tay…like all of them I haven’t seen for awhile I kinda got into a situation where I was like down there, I was talking to ‘em, they were telling me something and it’s like if you like “Okay yeah that’s cool tell me later” they would’ve been like “What’s your problem?” So it was just really awkward. I feel bad too. I just wanted to get things cleared up and stuff. I just wanted to make sure you weren’t mad at me.

Lauren: I’m not like mad at you it just like made me sad.

Jason: No I understand but I’m just…okay.

Lauren: Good.

Jason: So um, glad we talked things over.

Lauren: Me too.

Jason: Don’t be sad. (They kiss)

Lauren: I have to go. I have a test.

Jason: Okay see ya.

Lauren: Bye. (She keeps walking to school as he gets in his car)

CUT TO: Teen Vogue Offices

Everyone, except Lauren, is there discussing a fashion show.

Lisa: Hi everyone. How are you? We’re doing this special Teen Vogue event with DKNY jeans and uh, Jay is going to style the show for us. It’s a great event kicking off LA fashion week. Jay has an incredible vision and he’ll talk about that a little bit.

Jay: Stylistically speaking we’re gonna do a bit of a ‘60s Karl Heinsuienberger punk with a bit of a modern twist to it.

Lisa: And you’re gonna work with Whitney and Lauren. And Lauren is not here.

Blaine: Lauren is not here. She has a test.

Lisa: Oh okay. But she will be here for the show?

Blaine: She will be here for the show and she will be working on the project and you guys will catch her up on everything that happens here.

Whitney: Right.

CUT TO: FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising)

Lauren sits in her seat.

Teacher: You do have a quiz today. So uh, when you finish you can just bring it up front so I can gage when we’re all finished. (Lauren starts on her test. She looks at the clock)

CUT TO: Teen Vogue Offices

Whitney calls Lauren just as she is leaving school.

Lauren: Hey.

Whitney: Hi. Where are you?

Lauren: I just got out of class.

Whitney: Well listen. There’s like this Teen Vogue DKNY jeans fashion show. It’s the most work I’ve ever seen.

Lauren: Oh my god. Are you serious?

Whitney: Yeah like you’re gonna die and it’s just you and me under Jay is the stylist so it’s like a lotta, lotta, lotta work. I need you with me the next couple days.

Lauren: I’ll be there. Thank you for filling me in. Sorry I missed the meeting.

Whitney: My pleasure. I’ll see you tomorrow.

Lauren: Okay thanks bye. (They hang up)

CUT TO: Bolthouse Offices

Jen: Get um, Heidi in my office please. (Heidi comes in Jen’s office) Hey Heidi. (Heidi sits down) How’s it goin’?

Heidi: Good how are you?

Jen: I’m going over all my um, specifics for Wednesday night and I see that you’re gonna start Wednesday night.

Heidi: Um, well I was wondering if I could start Saturday instead.

Jen: No, no, no, no. Wednesday night you’re walking the line outside with us. We have a lot of rules and regulations. I don’t really like our people while they’re working to go inside the nightclubs and hang out with their friends.

Heidi: Well what about when we’re done working?

Jen: Well when you’re done working then the club’s closed. Obviously there’s no drinking, no uggs, no flip-flops, I like girls in heels but not heels they can’t really walk in, always have a coat with you, always have…

CUT TO: The Next Day – Hillside Villas

Lauren is in the kitchen with Jason.

Lauren: Morning!

Jason: Heidi ho.

Lauren: Hey.

Jason: Come here. (He hugs and kisses her) Let’s go grab something to eat. I’m so hungry.

Lauren: I have to go get ready.

CUT TO: Sunset Marquis Hotel – Fitting & Rehearsal Day

Danica: Is Lauren here?

Whitney: Not yet I think she’s coming soon.

Danica: Can somebody call Lauren and find out when she’s gonna get here?

Whitney: Uh, yeah. I can call her. Yeah.

CUT TO: Jason’s Car

He is driving Lauren to work when Whitney calls her.

Lauren: Hello?

Whitney: Hi I just wanted to make sure. Are you here?

Lauren: We’re a couple minutes away.

Whitney: Okay just wanted to make sure you’re here soon.

Lauren: Okay bye. (She hangs up)

Jason: What’s goin’ on? Are you late?

Lauren: I’m not even late yet. Five minutes. Nobody’s gonna die in five minutes I think we’re gonna be okay.

CUT TO: Sunset Marquis Hotel

Whitney: She’ll be here in a couple minutes.

Danica: Okay.

CUT TO: Outside

Lauren is getting out of Jason’s car.

Lauren: Thank you.

Jason: Have a good day.

Lauren: MM-hmm.

Danica: What time is Lauren gonna get here?

Whitney: When I talked to her she said she’d be here in a couple minutes. (Lauren walks in)

Lauren: Hey.

Whitney: Hi. We were just gonna call you.

Lauren: Did you guys just start?

Whitney: No we’ve been here all day. Okay so you’re gonna do Polaroid’s.

Lara: Excuse me. (Goes up to Lauren) Lauren, hi.

Lauren: Hi.

Lara: What time were you supposed to be here today?

Lauren: Two-thirty.

Lara: We just need you to be on time. It’s something that’s like really, really, really important to us. Because when you’re late, we back everybody else up…and it’s just not good.

Lauren: Sorry.

Lara: Okay thanks. (She walks away)

CUT TO: Hillside Villas

Heidi is getting ready for her anniversary/work when Lauren comes in.

Lauren: Heidi!

Heidi: Hello! Hi.

Lauren: Hi. Can I use your curling iron?

Heidi: Only if you use it in here because you won’t give it back. (Lauren laughs) Ugh…I have to work tonight.

Lauren: Do you?

Heidi: On my anniversary. The first night I have to work.

Lauren: For how long?

Heidi: Until 2 in the morning.

Lauren: No…

Heidi: I was planning on like going out with Jordan.

Lauren: Well you can still do dinner.

Heidi: Yeah but like hardly.

Lauren: I know.

Heidi: We have to rush.

Lauren: I know.

Heidi: I’ve never been like out at a club without him though. You know like me working there and him going out. It’s gonna be weird,

Lauren: That’s weird. Why did you invite him?

Heidi: Well ‘cause I’d rather him be there than not you know it’s like our anniversary and stuff.

Lauren: Just make the best of it.

Heidi: How was work?

Lauren: I literally was like five minutes late and they made like a big deal out of it. They were all like weirded out so I just like can’t like mess up. I’m like under a magnify glass tonight.

CUT TO: DKNY Jeans Fashion Show

Everyone is getting ready.

Danica: Everything needs to be done in one hour. Do it carefully but do it fast. Whitney will be directing the dressers ‘cause that’s the most important thing and then Lauren needs to actually be waiting here taking care of the models okay? (Comes up to Lauren) So Lauren I’m gonna put you on this duty. I can’t get a hold of this girl. Um maybe if you can just keep trying. She was supposed to be here at 8:30 and it’s 10:15. Okay yeah just call over and over. (Lauren gets on a cell phone and tries calling the girl)

Jay: What about Jessica? Has anyone called?

Lauren: I can’t get a hold of her. I just called like two minutes ago.

Danica: We’re having a problem. I need to get Jay.

Lauren: I called like five times in the last ten minutes. I just keep calling over and over.

Whitney: Have you tried calling her agency?

Lauren: It is the agency.

Whitney: Oh.

Danica: (To Jay) What do you wanna do? Do you wanna try to try to slap somebody else into that look?

Jay: All right, all right. If she doesn’t show up in like thirty minutes…we’ll just put Whitney in. Is the situation like is she gonna freak out?

Danica: We’ll have to make sure that all the sizes are correct. You want me to go talk to her? Okay, okay, okay. (She goes up to Lauren and Whitney) How are you guys doin’?

Whitney: We’re done.

Danica: So I’m gonna get the dressers back here and you can brief the dressers and Whitney you’re gonna walk tonight. (Walks away) Let me get the dressers. (Lauren gets a surprised look on her face)

CUT TO: Marrakesh Moroccan Cuisine

Jordan and Heidi go inside for dinner.

Jordan: Happy anniversary.

Heidi: So are you gonna go tonight?

Jordan: Yeah but I was amped on you inside and walking around. It must suck not being a part of the party.

Heidi: Yes. That’s what Jen said, “You’re not a part of the party you’re outside”.

Jordan: Since it is our anniversary I got you an anniversary gift. (He hands her a box. She opens it and gasps; it is earrings)

Heidi: They’re beautiful. (She kisses him) You know what? It’s been a really, really special six months. (They kiss) I’ve never been with anyone this long.

CUT TO: DKNY Jeans Fashion Show

Danica: All of you back there! No stopping, no posing. Walk easy and smile. Be happy.

Woman: Who’s walking for Jessica?

Danica: Whitney’s gonna walk for Jessica.

Jay: Where’s Dara? She’s in the show, she’s gonna take Jessica’s position. We just need to get her in the outfit right now so that if there’s any kind of alterations that need to be made then we can get Billy to do it.

Blaine: You’re walking?

Whitney: I…yes!

Danica: Where’s Whitney?

Lauren: Whitney! She’s right there. (Her mic moves on her head)

Jay: Are all the models here? And our new model Whitney?

Lauren: (Fixes her mic) Yeah.

Jay: Okay great, fantastic.

Lauren: Okay.

Jay: Let’s do it.

Lauren: Okay. And everyone remember who you’re in front of.

CUT TO: LAX Nightclub

Jen: Dude, one way or the other. Sir, hello? We’re not open. One way or the other. You gotta go down that way.

Grace: (To Heidi) You ready? (Heidi laughs)

Heidi: I’m ready. I’m a little nervous. Geez there’s so many people.

Grace: This is where you’re gonna be. Come on.

Heidi: Okay what do I say?

Grace: Say what’s your name, how many people in your party, how many guys, how many girls, we let them through. (Jordan and Brian show up)

Brian: Where is she?

Jordan: Heidi.

Heidi: Hi. (Kisses Jordan)

Elodie: So big day for you guys, huh?

Jordan: Yeah.

Elodie: Six months. Congratulations.

Jordan: I appreciate it.

Jen: Rob? What is going on with all these people? You guys aren’t listening to me. (Heidi goes inside) Listen to me.

Grace: Check in with Heidi. Heidi?

Jen: Can you check in with Heidi please? Where did Heidi go? I’m having a f**king cow right now. (It cuts to inside the club. Heidi goes up to Jordan and Brian’s table. She kisses Jordan)

Jordan: You look like you’re having fun.

Heidi: It’s way better than the office.

Brian: Are you at the door all night?

Heidi: Yeah but we’re almost done.

Jordan: You coming in with me?

Heidi: I think so. (He gets all excited) You having fun? (A guy talks to Heidi) How are you?

Josh: What’s up Heidi? How you doin’?

Heidi: Good how are you?

Josh: Good.

Heidi: This is my boyfriend Jordan.

Josh: What’s up man? Josh. (He shakes hands with Jordan)

Heidi: (Points to Brian) This is Brian.

Josh: (Shakes his hand) What’s up Brian?

Brian: What’s your name?

Josh: Josh.

Brian: Josh, nice to meet you.

Josh: We kind of had eyes for each other.

Heidi: No we went out on a date one time, baby.

Josh: We went out. I took her out on a date. She’s pretty good though.

Jordan: What? (Kisses Heidi) He took Heidi out on a date.

Heidi: (Josh is leaving) Tell your girl I say hi.

Josh: I will.

Heidi: Yeah. (Josh leaves) I went out on a date one time with that guy.

Brian: So why didn’t you tell him to **** off?

Heidi: He came over to say hi to me. I’m not gonna be rude.

Jordan: You didn’t know he was here?

Heidi: I didn’t even know he was here…I told him “I didn’t even see you walk in”.

Jordan: Whatever I don’t care.

Heidi: Well you shouldn’t.

Jordan: I don’t.

Heidi: Alright, I gotta go back to work. (Heidi gets up and leaves)

Jordan: I really felt like when he said…”me and Heidi went out on a date”. I was like…WHAT?

Brian: Why is he talking to her? What is that? Girls are too friendly, know what I mean? Tell that guy…to go, like, walk off a cliff. Ugh! (It cuts to outside, with Heidi and her co-workers)

Elodie: And we’ll call you back to confirm. Okay bye. Okay what happened?

Heidi: This guy I went on one date with I swear to God, one date sits down next to us at our table and Jordan like gets mad. I didn’t ask this guy to come over…

Elodie: Oh my god. Is he super jealous?

Heidi: I didn’t see him come in. Yeah but I am too so I understand.

Elodie: Oh.

CUT TO: DKNY Jeans Fashion Show

Lauren: I’m your dresser Whitney.

Whitney: Oh my god.

Lauren: Don’t lie, you’re excited.

Whitney: I feel like…look at it. (She is getting her make-up done) 

Man: What do you feel like?

Whitney: Every single lid is being worked on right now.

Man: Welcome to our world.

Whitney: You guys do a really good job. (Cuts to Whitney in line)

Lauren: Oh Whitney you look so pretty. Yay Whitney! Heather Shane! Amanda Shake! You’re in here.

Danica: Line up everybody. Line up. Get in order. Line up, line up, line up ‘cause we’re gonna start in twenty seconds.

Whitney: Ah!

Danica: Twenty seconds!

Lauren: (It shows onstage) We just need Courina. Courina’s in, good. We’re good we got everyone. (The lights dim and the show starts. Everyone claps as the models walk down the catwalk.)

Whitney: (Cuts to backstage) I’m gonna trip and fall.

Lauren: Be like Whoo! (Whitney laughs. Then she moves up in line) Just kinda like keep your head…Good luck! (Whitney walks)

Lisa: So composed, all the time. (It cuts to backstage. Whitney high fives someone as she comes backstage again. Then cuts to the show) She did fine.

Blaine: She did great.

Lauren: (Backstage again) Yo Whitney! How’d you do?

Whitney: It was fine. I think it was fine. (Blaine comes backstage and hugs her)

Lisa: You could do that. Should I introduce you to Natalie, the model agency?

Blaine: Amazing, I saw you hustling back here.

Lauren: (Hugs Blaine) So did it turn out good?

Blaine: Yeah you guys did a great job.

Lauren: Okay.

Blaine: You guys do well when given a challenge, you rise.

Whitney: Thank you. (Lauren wipes her arm on her forehead)

CUT TO: LAX Nightclub

Heidi comes outside and goes up to Jordan who is waiting for her.

Heidi: You ready?

Jordan: Don’t you be lying tonight. Don’t you be lying tonight.

Heidi: Okay I was so shocked to see him, I didn’t invite him over, I just went “Hi”. I greet everyone like that. I didn’t invite him.

Jordan: I don’t care.

Heidi: I didn’t even know he was there. I didn’t do any of that.

Jordan: You’re ridiculous!

Heidi: All right fine. (He unlocks his car and they get in) Okay I was trying so hard to introduce you as my boyfriend, I tried to keep getting him to leave.

Jordan: Okay so…my ex-girlfriend comes up in a club and I…

Heidi: You went on a date with her?

Jordan: I greet her…

Heidi: You went on a date with her?

Jordan: Hey listen, listen.

Heidi: Jordan!

Jordan: No! You’re wrong.

Heidi: I’m not wrong here. 

Jordan: I don’t care what you say.

Heidi: You always say this in our argument. “You’re wrong, I don’t care what you say”.

Jordan: Shut up.

Heidi: Don’t tell me to shut up.

Jordan: Like I don’t understand you like you drive me insane.

Heidi: Fine, fine then if I drive you insane so much then why are you with me?

Jordan: Oh god.

Heidi: (He starts to drive) Happy anniversary Jordan. (Then it shows the city of LA)
