Kristin: (V.O.) Jessica had developed a major crush on Jeff.

Jessica: I want Jeff so bad. Oh my god.

Kristin: (V.O.) (Shows Kristin and Jeff) Luckily she forgave me for kissing him. (Shows Jeff and Jessica) She knew it didn’t mean anything. And it was good to see her happy for a change.

Kristin: You really like Jeff, huh?

Jessica: What can I say?

Kristin: (V.O.) (Shows Stephen and LC in San Francisco) Stephen was also on the rebound.

Stephen: What do you think would ever happened if me and you like had a relationship that lasted?

Kristin: (V.O.) But this time, it looked like Lauren wasn’t falling for it.

LC: I don’t know.

Kristin: (V.O.) (Shows Kristin’s fiesta party) Meanwhile, I was having major Talan issues.

Kristin: Talan, you’re not very talkative.

Kristin: (V.O.) He was still really mad that I went to see Stephen in San Francisco.

Alex H: She didn’t go up there with the intention…

Talan: Like the fifteenth closure. Like closure and next week and closure.

Alex H: No, no.

Kristin: (V.O.) (Shows Kristin and Talan having dinner) Now Prom was coming up and he was supposed to ask me. But I was starting to worry he was gonna blow me off.

CUT TO: Kristin’s House

Kristin, Alex H, and Jessica are sitting outside talking.

Kristin: Our last prom.

Alex H: Mm-hmm.

Jessica: Are you excited?

Kristin: Yeah, if I get asked.

Jessica: You will.

Kristin: Okay, if you could go with anyone in the school, who would you go with?

Alex H: Hmm…maybe Mikey J ‘cause I think he’d be a fun date.

Kristin: Mm-hmm…

Alex H: I’ve never gone to a dance with him or anything.

Kristin: Mm-hmm…yeah.

Alex H: Who do you wanna go with, Jessica? If you could pick anybody?

Jessica: With Jeff.

Kristin: ‘Cause he’s hot.

Jessica: But he’s hot and has a really good body.

Alex H: (To Kristin) Now you have to say yours.

Jessica: Yeah.

Kristin: Talan would be a fun date.

Jessica: Yeah.

Alex H: Mm-hmm.

Kristin: I’m scared I’m not gonna get asked to Prom.

Jessica: You will. You get asked for sure.

Kristin: By who?

Jessica: I don’t know.

Kristin: Yeah…mm…exactly.

Opening Credits

CUT TO: Talan’s House

Talan is there with Jake and Jeff discussing Prom.

Talan: Prom’s coming up. I’m so excited.

Jeff: What are your plans for Prom?

Talan: I don’t know. I’ve been like for the last year trying to ask Kristin but I’ve been kinda like…like hesitant if I should or not but…it would be so funny if I didn’t ask her though.

Jeff: So you’re not really sure if you’re gonna ask her or not?

Talan: No I’m not really sure. But it would be kinda funny…it would be kinda funny if I didn’t ask her.

Jake: She would be so bummed.

Talan: Yeah…

Jeff: She would be so bummed.

Talan: Just like…so yeah…(To Jake) how are you gonna…how are you gonna ask Taylor?

Jake: I don’t know yet. I’m still thinking about it.

Talan: I think…I think of all the three dates we could’ve picked, we all just picked the ultimate like drama dates. We have like Taylor, Jessica, and Kristin.

Jake: Dude, yours…

Jeff: I feel bad for Talan. (Talan laughs)

CUT TO: The Road

Stephen is driving when he calls LC. It goes back and forth between Stephen driving and LC at her house.

LC: Hello.

Stephen: Hey buddy.

LC: Where are you?

Stephen: I’m back in town. What are you doing?

LC: I’m at my house right now, reading a magazine.

Stephen: Why don’t I pick you up and we can hang?

LC: Uh, no, actually I think I’m busy.

Stephen: What?

LC: (She laughs) I’m just kidding, yeah you can come get me.

Stephen: All right, well I’ll see you in a minute.

LC: Okay, I’ll see you then.

Stephen: All right.

LC: Bye.

Stephen: Bye. (They hang up)

CUT TO: The Colonnade

Taylor, Alex M, and Morgan S are there, getting their nails done for Prom.

Taylor: Ready to get your nails done? (They go inside) Do you guys feel like this is Prom?

Morgan S: No, I…

Taylor: There’s no like build up or anything. It’s fun though. I think I’m gonna cry. I’m for sure gonna cry like once or twice.

Woman: (She comes inside) Excuse me, who owns the black Acura outside?

Taylor: I do.

Woman: It’s being towed right now.

Taylor: That doesn’t make any f***ing sense. I haven’t been here for that long at all. (Cuts to outside. Taylor’s car is being towed. We see Jake is towing it and he has flowers for Taylor. Taylor comes outside) What is the time limit? I don’t have any parking tickets.

Woman: Hold on, stop. Here’s your driver’s license. And you can’t go out there (Alex M and Morgan S come outside) while he’s working on the car. So many parking tickets now….the police department calls it in…(Jake comes up to Taylor)

Taylor: Do you see what is happening here right now?

Jake: Will you go to Prom with me, Taylor?

Taylor: Yes, of course. (She hugs him)

Jake: It’s a joke.

Taylor: Are you serious? (Everyone starts laughing) Are you serious? I believed it. (She hugs Jake again)

CUT TO: The Beach

Jeff B and Jeff C park their car there. They get out wearing gorilla suits.

Jeff B: Let’s cruise it.

CUT TO: Jessica and Alex H

They are eating and talking about Prom.

Jessica: Are you excited for Prom?

Alex H: Yeah I’m really excited but I’m really scared I’m not gonna get asked.

CUT TO: Street

The guys are walking to where Jessica and Alex H are to ask them to Prom.

Jeff B: These things are out of control.

Jeff C: I am so hot.

CUT TO: Jessica and Alex H

Alex H: But if I really don’t get asked, I’m still gonna go because it’s not like you stay with your date the whole time, you know?

Jessica: Yeah.

CUT TO: Street

Jeff B: (To people staring) What are you looking at? (They laugh)

CUT TO: Jessica and Alex H

Alex H: Oh, you know what I really wanna do though? (It shows the boys sneaking up to them) I really wanna take…um…get a girls picture of me, you, and Kristin. (It shows the boys sneaking up again)

Jessica: Mm-hmm.

Alex H: Us three girls.

Jeff B: Let’s just sneak up to ‘em and tap them on the shoulder.

Alex H: I wasn’t that upset because she wasn’t happy about it. (They tap with the bananas. They look)

Jessica: Oh my god.

Alex H: What was that?

Jessica: I don’t know but it’s two. (They get up)

Alex H: Oh my god. (Jessica screams) Oh my god. (They show them the bananas that say “Prom?” on them) Oh my god. (They lift the masks) You guys are so random. Why would you do that? (They hug the guys) Hi.

Jessica: That’s okay Jeff.

Jeff C: That’s so hot.

Jessica: My heart…is pounding.

CUT TO: Beach

Stephen and LC are walking and talking.

Stephen: What’d you do all day, just chill?

LC: Yeah, I’m so stoked. It was like today was like my first day, like out of school, nothing to do. Did you think a year ago that we’d both be going to LA now?

Stephen: Uh, I could see myself living there though.

LC: I expected you to be going back to San Fran.

Stephen: I didn’t expect myself to be going back to San Fran.

LC: Really?

Stephen: ‘Cause there was no way I was going to graduate from there. I already felt like I soaked up everything that I wanted to soak up, up there.

LC: Yup.

Stephen: Let’s make some plans. I didn’t make plans for the summer, maybe I do need a little bit of plans.

LC: Awww…(He laughs and puts his arm around LC)

CUT TO: The Next Day – Taylor and Alex M are shopping for Prom dresses.

Alex M: Hopefully we’ll find a dress.

Taylor: Are you looking forward to going with Sam?

Alex M: Yeah, I’m excited. (Looks at a gold, glittery dress) Should I try this on Tay, ‘cause it could be cute?

Taylor: I don’t know. (It goes to outside. Cami and Kyndra, two sophmores are coming in the store) That’s so cute, Al. Will you try that on, please?

Cami: Hey.

Alex M: Hi guys.

Taylor: Hi you guys.

Cami: Look at that shirt. That’s so cute. Where’d you get that? (Cami hugs Taylor)

Taylor: It’s from here. (Cami hugs Alex M)

Alex M: Hi love.

Kyndra: How are you? (Hugs Taylor)

Cami: What are you guys doing here? Looking for Prom dresses?

Alex M: Looking for dresses, I can’t find one. Do you have your Prom dress?

Cami: Well I’m like still looking for mine. Al, um, I wanted to ask you if I could go to Prom with Jason ‘cause he asked me and I was wondering to make sure it was okay with you.

Alex M: No…of course! Are you kidding? I could care less about Jason…my friend (They hug)

Cami: Love you.

Alex M: Love you too. (Cami and Kyndra start to leave)

Taylor: Bye girls. (To the guy working) Okay, I’ll be back. Okay.

Alex M: I don’t even get why Cami had to ask but it was really nice of Cami to do.

Taylor: Yeah. (Goes to Cami and Kyndra)

Cami: Glad she said yes.

Kyndra: Yeah if she said no….you wouldn’t have…like it wouldn’t stop you. (They laugh)

Alex M: Let’s go somewhere else. (To the guy) Thank you.

Guy: Bye, you guys.

CUT TO: Street

Kristin and Alex H are walking.

Alex H: Honestly like what if Talan really doesn’t ask you?

Kristin: Okay Alex.

Alex H: No, I’m not even kidding, bitch.

Kristin: Slut.

Alex H: I’ll laugh at you. (She laughs) Woo!

Kristin: (They go in a store) Hi. (Picks up a purse) Oh this is cute.

Alex H: Hmm? Oh that is cute. (Kristin picks up another purse) Do you think he’s gonna ask you to Prom?

Kristin: I’m not worried. Boys always wait till the last minute.

Alex H: I don’t know.

Kristin: Stephen waited until like the day before. (It shows Talan walking down the street in a tux, carrying red balloons and red roses. Talan is in a garage. He puts a white sheet over a table. It goes to Kristin driving her car.)

Alex H: Where are we going right now?

Kristin: My house. (It goes to Talan. He puts red rose petals all over the floor. It shows he puts vases of red roses on a table. He closes the door, standing there with roses for her. Kristin’s car pulls in her driveway. Kristin sees a bouquet of pink roses Talan left, with a note.) What is going on, Alex?

Alex H: I have no idea.

Kristin; Yes you do. What is going on right now? (Shows a close-up of the note, with “Kristin’’ on the front, with a heart and an arrow going through it. They get out of the car and Kristin picks up the note and opens it.) Okay, “Dear Kristin, these past couple of years that we have gotten to know each other have been very special to me. You have this amazing ability to make me laugh, yet you have a beautiful way of making me cry. This I believe shows how much you truly mean to me. Now close your eyes and count to ten but please don’t peek or you’ll ruin the surprise”. Oh my god.

Alex H: Okay close your eyes and count to ten.

Kristin: (She closes her eyes) One…two…(the garage door starts to open) three…four…five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten. (She opens her eyes and sees Talan) Oh my god! (She goes up to Talan) Oh!

Talan: Will you go to Prom with me?

Kristin: Yeah. (She hugs him and he kisses her cheek) Thank you. (It shows Alex H watching and smiling) Thank you. (He hugs her again)

CUT TO: Day of Prom – Salon

Alex M and Cedric are getting their hair done for Prom.

Woman: Hi! Are you ready? Go ahead and change, put a smock on, and we’ll get going.

Cedric: I have smock.

Alex M: Oh man.

Woman: We’re gonna make you look hot.

Woman # 2: Ced, where are you guys going before Prom?

Cedric: Yeah, where are we going before Prom?

Alex M: Sarah’s getting it all catered at her house ‘cause her house is huge. .

Cedric: Are we taking like pictures there and stuff?

Alex M: Yeah, it’s like where everyone’s meeting.

Cedric: All right.

Alex M: Ced, this is so funny.

Cedric: It’s not funny. It’s not my fault I didn’t get straight hair in the front.

Alex M: You look like the guy from Zoolander.

Cedric: Have you looked in the mirror?

Alex M: Kidding.

Cedric: There’s a bird nest on your…shut up.

Alex M: Oh my god, I think it looks cute.

Cedric: How random, is uh, Jason’s Prom date?

Alex M: Cami like came and asked me like for permission.

Cedric: So random.

Alex M: I got upset over it for like an hour and then I was like ‘Why am I upset?’

Cedric: Well I don’t think she knows that like they’re not gonna like chill, like he just needs like a date to go with. (They laugh)

CUT TO: Kristin’s House

Kristin and Alex H are getting ready for Prom.

Kristin: Let me help you. Can I please help you? It’s so weird that it’s Prom though. (Kristin almost burns Alex) Oh! I’m sorry.

Alex H: Oh my god, it’s okay. Just be careful. I know, I can’t believe it’s our Senior Prom.

Kristin: It’s the last dance we have to get ready for.

Alex H: Okay, give me this. (Kristin laughs)

CUT TO: Talan’s House

Jeff B arrives at Talan’s and goes in. Then Jeff C arrives. Jeff B and Talan high five.

Talan: Dude, wait till you see our tuxes. Hey Jeff. How fresh is this jacket, dude, with the white, even though I get it all dirt, with converse, the white shirt. 

JP: Cheeto and I are going converses.

Talan: We’re just going big tonight.

CUT TO: Morgan S.’s House

All the girls are there when Cami shows up.

Taylor: Cam, look at you!

Cami: Hi!

Taylor: Oh my god. (It goes to inside, where the girls are getting ready)

Alex M: Hi love. My mom is like ‘Please tell me how shirt your dress is, Alex’. I’m like ‘Mom…’

CUT TO: Talan’s house

It shows the hummer limo.

Jason: We got some dub spinners.

JP: J, you ready to rage?

CUT TO: Kristin’s House

Kristin, Alex H, and Jessica are getting ready.

Alex H: Ready? (Jessica groans) You look pretty.

Jessica: I look like crap.

Alex H: No, you do not look like crap. You always say that. Every girl says that.

CUT TO: Morgan S.’s House

They are leaving for the Pre-Prom Party.

Morgan S’ Mom: Bye guys!

All: Bye!

Taylor: I don’t want to see the boys.

Alex M: I don’t either.

Girl: I want to see them boys.

CUT TO: The boys.

JP: J Wahl, cruise! (Jason runs over)

Talan: They’re in my backpack (The girls show up)

Kristin: I love it. (Kristin hugs Jake)

Alex H: Senior Prom! (Jessica hugs Jake and then they all get in the limo. They all cheer)

CUT TO: Sarah’s House – Pre-Prom Party

The limo gets there and everyone gets out. They go in and then outside where everyone is taking pictures.

Alex H: Yeah! Senior Prom!

Jason: Hello!

It goes to inside, where Casey is arriving with her date.

Alex M: Oh! There is no turning back.

To goes to outside where Jessica is talking with Emily.

Jessica: Did you see Casey’s dress?

Emily: I never saw her.

Jessica: Somewhere…

It goes to Casey, taking her picture with her date.

Casey: Wait, which side? This side? No this side.

Dustin: No, this side, Casey.

Casey: Ah!

It goes to Taylor and Jake taking their picture.

Then it goes to Morgan S. trying to put Jason’s flower on his jacket.

Jessica: Just…you know what would work really well? Just take a pin and stab it in like that and you’ll be good.

Jason: You need to leave. (Alex M watches)

Cami: (To Jason) You look great tonight. (She kisses his cheek)

Cedric: Sexy, dude. If I were you, I’d be like ‘Smack that’

Jason: Hey, critterbug! (Hugs someone)

Cami: Yeah we’re chilling.

Jason: We’re chilling.

Cami: Word.

Jason: Word to your mother. (Alex M watches Jason) Thank you.

Woman: (Hugs Jason) You guys have fun tonight.

Jason: Yeah we will.

Then it shows Kristin, Jessica, and Alex H taking a picture with their tongues sticking out.

Woman: Here we go. One, two, smile. (The girls laugh)

Kristin: Oh wait there’s my date. Oh hey. What’s up? I know, I’m like finally I found him. Don’t count on me holding on to him.

Talan: Actually, I wouldn’t count me holding on to her.

Kristin: Oh right, Talan. (It shows Taylor and Alex M taking a picture together)

Woman: You wanna get in this one?

Kristin: Yeah, okay. Hey Dad, Shannon will make you copies. Wait, no Talan, you’re wanted. Here, any minute now. (Talan walks over to Kristin to take a picture with her) I get this side, so you have to be right here. Oh, I’m sorry.

Woman: Why don’t you guys pretend like you like each other or something. Here we go. One, two, three.

Kristin: Okay, bye Talan. See you later. (Kristin walks away from Talan)

Talan: Kristin is really pissing me off right now. (Kristin takes a picture with another guy)

Woman: Smile right here guys. One, two, three.

Girl: Who’s your date? Kristin. Aw, don’t be so sad.

Talan: Shut up. (The girls take a group picture)

Alex H: Everyone say “Prom!”

Talan: I’m already over it.

Girls: Prom!

Kristin: I wanna go like right now. Let’s go right now. (They get in the limo. Then it shows Talan walking alone. The Limo leaves for Prom.)

CUT TO: Prom

It shows everyone going in. Then it shows everyone having fun at Prom. Then it cuts to outside, where Jason and Alex M are making out. People come outside and see them.

Talan: What the hell.

Kristin: Oh my god. Jason and Alex are macking.

People get inside the limo, including Cami, Jason’s date.

Kristin: That’s kind of rude.

Alex M puts her arms around Jason, with her shoes in her hands. Cami looks out and sees them. They stop and everyone yells.

Alex M: Wow that’s embarrassing!

Jason and Alex M leave together, with their arms around each other.

CUT TO: The Next Day – The Beach

Alex M, Taylor, and Morgan S are talking about Prom.

Morgan S: Prom was so much fun.

Taylor: That was a really good last dance.

Alex M: That was my best.

Taylor: Really? Your best dance?

Alex M: My best dance pretty much.

Morgan S: I think it was one of my best dances.

Alex M: Yeah.

Taylor: Yeah, for sure.

Alex M: I had so much fun.

Morgan S: You were with Jason the whole time.

Alex M: Yeah, I know.

Morgan S: Everytime I turned, it was like, it was Alex and Jason.

Alex M: I just made up with him. Yeah we were just like, been there, done that, like happy it’s over now, good we got it out of our systems you know? Do you think Cami was bummed?

Morgan S: No. No, everytime Cami…Jason would walk by, he was so belligerent, Cami was like “Worst Prom date ever!” like screaming it at him. 

CUT TO: Restaurant

Cedric, Talan, and Jason are there, talking about Prom.

Jason: I didn’t really like Prom.

Talan: Oh, I hated it.

Cedric: It was kind of weird.

Talan: I hated it.

Jason: It just sucked.

Talan: Who did you hook up with?

Jason: Alex. (Talan and Cedric yell, then high five and laugh)

Cedric: Who’d you go with?

Talan: Kristin.

Cedric: Oh yeah.

Talan: But obviously that’s why you have to ask me, ‘cause she’s like never with me. She’s always like doing her own thing, like dancing with ten dudes, like making out with fifteen dudes. Probably like more than kissed like five guys. I was like ‘’What the hell?”

Cedric: She plays games.

Jason: She’s like that, dude.

Cedric: She plays such gnarly games.

Talan: I’m over that chick. Whatever.

CUT TO: Alex H’s House

Alex H, Kristin, and Jessica are there, talking about Prom.

Kristin: I hope Talan’s not mad at me.

Alex H: I don’t think he is.

Jessica: He’s like gotten a lot cuter.

Kristin: I don’t think so.

Alex H: ‘Cause you like get annoyed with him. (They laugh)

Kristin; Did he hook up with anyone, do you know?

Jessica: I have no idea.

Kristin: I hope that he did, so to take like the heat off me. Our relationship just needs to be done though.

Jessica: Did you see Casey’s dress?

Kristin: That girl’s ridiculous. That’s like a cheap hooker. Casey looks like a cheap hooker, she does.

Alex H: Yeah, like with her hair and her make-up, and like everything.

Kristin: I know.

Alex H: That’s so different from how like…

Kristin: That would be so exhausting. It would take like 500 hours every day to get that ready.

Alex H: How she puts make-up on, that’s like Mission Vehayo, or like inland Orange County, not like Laguna Beach.

Kristin: It was definitely a fun Prom. Towards the end of the night, I started tripping out about like our last Prom and graduation and everything.

Alex H: This is it. High school is like, we have like two weeks left, our whole entire lives. Oh my god.

Kristin: It’s happening so fast, I just want it to like, I don’t know, it needs to slow down just a little bit.

Alex H: I don’t think I’ve let myself like actually realize it, and believe it, because I think I’d be kinda scared, but now it’s actually happening, I’m like “Whoa…”

Kristin: I know.

Alex H: This year’s like basically over

Kristin: It is over. It’s so sad. (Jessica turns over and the camera moves up, showing all three of them, laying on the couches)
