Kristin: (V.O.) Valentine’s Day was a drama fest in Laguna.

Stephen: These are for you.

Kristin: (V.O.) Stephen gave Lauren flowers.

Kristin: Stephen.

Stephen: These are for you.

Kristin: Thank you.

Kristin: (V.O.) But he asked me out to dinner.

Kristin: Where are we going?

Stephen: Rumari’s.

Kristin: Very romantic.

Kristin: (V.O.) It was really good to see him.

Stephen: So are you my Valentine?

Kristin: (V.O.) But little did he know I’d been hanging out with Talan.

Talan: Do you think I care about you?

Kristin: (V.O.) I guess he was pretty much over Taylor.

Taylor: K, go be with a whore. Go be with Kristin.

Kristin: (V.O.) Meanwhile, Jessica and Jason had a really bad breakup.

Jessica: That was like the worst conversation that I’ve ever had in my life.

Kristin: (V.O.) We knew it wouldn’t be long before he jumped into Alex’s arms.

Alex M: I just wanna like hang out with you.

Kristin: (V.O.) But Jessica just couldn’t get over him. So it was the perfect time to head out of town, to Mammoth.

CUT TO: Kristin’s House

Kristin: Okay I don’t need twenty sweatshirts.

Jessica: No bring ‘em because we’ll all share them because I don’t have any sweatshirts.

Kristin: Oh I’m glad I’m packing for the three of us. Seriously, I’m just like excited to just like do nothing but like not to have to worry about doing something.

Jessica: I’m really excited to just leave and like get away from like atmosphere kind of you know, like after what like happened with Jason + everything I just wanna like be away. I miss him like way too much and that’s really, really bad.

Kristin: You shouldn’t even be thinking about that.

Jessica: I know but I do. I know, I know but I do. But at least this’ll give me like a break just to like chill out, like just kinda like hang out + not like have any worries.

Kristin: We’re gonna have so much fun you guys.

CUT TO: Talan’s House

He is packing for Mammoth.

Jeff: So your goal is to fit as many clothes as you can in one bag.

Talan: I guess so.

Jeff: Who’s staying up there?

Talan: Kristin and Alex and Jessica. And LC’s already up there at her parents cabin too. It’s gonna be kinda weird, Jason and Jessica, spilt apart, first the dance and now the snow trip.

Jeff: I just realized how much drama this is gonna bring with Jessica.

Talan: Yeah.

Jeff: The whole time she’s gonna be like “I don’t wanna think about Jason, I’m not gonna think about him”.

Talan: Yeah I know.

Jeff: She’s gonna be saying that the whole time and always be thinking about him.

Talan: Yeah like “Oh Shut it”.

Jeff: I know.

Talan: (They high five) Dude this trip’s gonna be epic.

Jeff: Seriously.

CUT TO: Kristin’s House

She is packing for Mammoth.

CUT TO: Talan’s House

He is packing up his car.

CUT TO: The Road

They are driving to Mammoth.

Talan: You guys I’m so excited for Mammoth.

Alex H: I am so excited.

Kristin: I am so excited. I’m pumped! Yeah!

CUT TO: LC’s Condo – Mammoth.

Kaitlyn: It was freezing last night.

LC: I eat so much everytime I go to the mountains. I think it’s like cold weather.

Kaitlyn: It’s ‘cause we sit inside.

LC: I know.

Kaitlyn: But I’d rather be inside than out there.

LC: You know what I’d really like to do?

Kaitlyn: What?

LC: Finish that puzzle.

Kaitlyn: Really?

LC: Yeah.

Kaitlyn: I’ve come to terms with the fact that it’s never gonna happen.

LC: You don’t think we can do it?

CUT TO: Laguna Beach – Casey’s House

Casey, Alex M, and Taylor are in Casey’s Jacuzzi.

Casey: So what’s going on with you guys?

Alex M: Me and Jason we are officially…

Taylor: Together? (Alex M nods)

Casey: What? You guys are together?

Alex M: Yeah he like asked me out. It was so cute.

Taylor: What did he say?

Casey: I told you right? I told you.

Alex M: He was like “Do you really wanna be my girlfriend?” And I was like…

Casey: It was like that?  

Alex M: Yeah and he was like “I wanna take you to the movies and I wanna…” I mean “I wanna take you to dinner”.

Casey: Oh my god. So you guys are together now ‘cause I’m Cupid.

Alex M: He was like “I really, really like you”.

Taylor: That’s so cute. I wonder how long it’s gonna take for Jessica to find out.

Alex M: Oh whatever. I mean whatever dude. I mean what can you do?

Taylor: So are you excited you get to hang out with him tonight?

Alex M: Yeah I’m so excited.

CUT TO: Road

Kristin, Jessica, Alex H, Jeff, and Talan are still driving to Mammoth.

Kristin: Both of you guys have snowboards right? You’re not renting?

Jeff: No we have snowboards.

Kristin: No I have my own but they have to rent. Do you think they should do it today?

Talan: Yeah, yeah it’s all good.

CUT TO: Wave Rave Snowboard Shop – Mammoth.

Kristin: Jessica! You can’t be this like un-coordinated. Are you serious?

Jessica: Okay.

Kristin: She’s not snowboarding.

Forrest: Yeah you are.

Kristin: No she’s not. You can take her up tomorrow ‘cause I’m not.

Jessica: Can I get out now?

Forrest: Me and Johnny will teach you how to snowboard.

Jessica: Okay, well you can bring a snowboard up to the hill for me and then maybe I’ll do it.

Kristin: Thanks you guys.

Jessica: Thanks. We’ll see you tomorrow.

Kristin: He’s hot. Talan are you jealous? Talan’s jealous. Move bitch.

Alex H: Bitch.

CUT TO: Laguna Beach – Alex M.’s House

Jason is picking her up for their date.

Alex M: Hey.

Jason: What’s up babe? (They hug. Then they walk to the car and get inside)

Jason: Hey, I’m starting tomorrow.

Alex M: You’re starting what tomorrow?

Jason: Pitching.

Alex M: Oh you’re starting tomorrow at pitching. I wanna come. I like baseball.

CUT TO: Kristin’s Condo – Mammoth

Kristin and Talan are on the sofa, play fighting.

Kristin: Dork. Don’t fall off the couch Talan.

Talan: Watch me.

Kristin: Don’t fall off the couch.

Jessica: (Her and Alex H come downstairs) And then he’s like “All right I love you” And I was like “I love you too”. And he got so mad at me for saying it sarcastically.

Kristin: Ow. What are you drinking Al?

Alex H: Juice.

Jessica: I can’t believe I just said that.

Alex H: You’re stupid. And you knew what you were doing when you said it too.

Kristin: What did you do?

Jessica: Nothing. I just left Jason a really long message.

Alex H: And she said “I love you”.

Kristin: What?! Why? How can you possibly honestly love him?

Talan: Hell no bitch.

Alex H: You’re in lust.

Alex H: You just gave it away you dumbass.

Alex M and Jason are there on their date.

Alex M: It’s so good. Please will you have a bite Jason? Please will you have a bite? (He takes some) How good is that? I like that shirt.

Jason: Thanks hon.

Alex M: I like your pants.

Jason: Thanks hon.

Alex M: I like your face. (They laugh) I’m trying to make you smile.

Jason: You are making me smile. You done? Ready? (They get up and go outside and sit down. They kiss as they sit.)

CUT TO: The Next Day – Kristin’s Condo – Mammoth.

Alex H: I’m excited to go snowboarding.

Kristin: Okay I’m gonna start right here.

Alex H: I don’t have ski socks.

Kristin: Here let’s put all of Jessica’s stuff right there. (Kristin phone rings)

Alex H: It’s Stephen.

Kristin: Shut up.

Alex H: Mm-hmm.

Kristin: What are the odds of that right now? (To Stephen) Hey.

Stephen: What’s up? What are you doing?

Kristin: Cleaning my messy ass room right now.

Stephen: Are you in Laguna?

Kristin: No I’m in Mammoth right now.

Stephen: You having fun?

Kristin: (To Alex H) This is yours. (To Stephen) What?

Stephen: You having fun?

Kristin: Yeah you should see Alex and my room. It’s so messy.

Stephen: Nice well hey I’m coming to Laguna tomorrow.

Kristin: Oh.

Stephen: Yeah. You gonna be around?

Kristin: Yeah.

Stephen: Yeah let’s get together.

Kristin: Fine. Well hey listen I gotta go. See you tomorrow.

Stephen: All right. I’ll talk to you later.

Kristin: Bye.

Stephen: All right bye. (They hang up)

Kristin: He’s coming home tomorrow.

Alex H: What about Talan?

Kristin: How am I going to, like, deal with that?

CUT TO: The Next Day – Mammoth

They are outside snowboarding. It shows Jeff and Talan. Then the snowboarding instructors as they come up.

Johnny: What’s up girls?

Kristin: Hi guys.

Jessica: Hi, look it.

Johnny: I know. I saw it.

Jessica: Oh god.

Johnny: You look nervous.

Jessica: I am. I’m so scared.

Johnny: You’ll be fine.

Jessica: No I won’t be I’m like really, really scared.

Johnny: You guys ready?

Jessica: No.

Alex H: No.

Johnny: Give it a shot?

Jessica: Oh my god, oh my god.  (Johnny is trying to teach her) Okay, okay.  

Kristin: Jess come here.

Jessica: I’m trying.

Pete: No I’m gonna show you how to turn on your toes.

Alex H: I can’t do it.

Pete: No I’m gonna show you.

Alex H: I’m really scared.

Pete: You won’t fall, watch.

Alex H: You promise me?

Pete: Yup, come on.

Alex H: I’m trusting you.

Kristin: (She gets hit with snow) God! What is the deal? (Jessica falls over. Then she falls again. It shows Kristin snowboarding. She falls over too. Then Alex H falls over.) Okay. (Kristin falls again.)

Jessica: Aah! (She falls again.) My legs hurt.

Johnny: All right look at this jump coming up. Take this one.

Kristin: No I’m not ready to jump yet. You jump first. Oh my god. (Johnny jumps) Yeah!

Alex H: Damn. (Pete jumps)

Kristin: I wanna be that good. (Johnny jumps again) Yeah Johnny.

Jessica: I’m gonna fall, I’m gonna fall. Aah! Oh god. (She falls down) I give up. (She takes off the snowboard and walks) I told you guys I was the most un-coordinated person and I have a runny nose. I can’t even wear make-up.

Forrest: Oh man that’s a bummer when you can’t wear make-up.

Jessica: I know.

Forrest: That really ruins my day.

Jessica: I know. It should.

Kristin: Oh my god.

Alex H: Oh my god.

Jessica: I told you I was gonna walk.

Alex H: Put your board back on right now.

Kristin: What are you…? Get off your cell phone.

Alex H: She’s seeing if Jason called.

Kristin: Oh my god Jessica. Put your cell phone away. (She tries to take it) Put it away. What are you doing?

CUT TO: Laguna Beach – Casey’s House

Casey is there hanging out with Alex M and Taylor.

Alex M: I just called Jason. His mom said he’s just leaving the baseball game.

Casey: Let’s have Emelda make us quesidas.

Alex M: Who?

Casey: Emelda, my housekeeper.

Alex M: Okay.

Casey: Okay. I’m gonna go ask her. Emelda, will you make un quesida por favor?  

Alex M: Casey.

Casey: Do you like my Spanish?

Alex M: Por favor?

Taylor: Does she live here?

Casey: Yeah, she’s been like working for us for like forever, I love her.

Alex M: I wanna come sit up with you guys. (Jason and Cedric come in)

Taylor: Hey guys.

Alex M: Hi.

Casey: What are you guys doing?

Jason: Hi hon. (Hugs Alex M)

Alex M: Hi babe. Finally.

Cedric: (Emelda brings the food) Is that for me?

Casey: It’s for me.

Cedric: She makes the best food.

Casey: Thank you Emelda. (Gives some to Cedric) Quesidas?

Cedric: Mm-mm.

Casey: So what’s going on with you guys?

Alex M: Jason you wanna answer?

Jason: You answer.

Casey: What’s your guys’ status?

Jason: What do you mean what’s our status?

Casey: So you guys are going out boyfriend/girlfriend? (Alex M nods) Yeah? Look at their heads.

Cedric: They fell in love last night. (Alex M kisses Jason on the cheek)

Casey: Oh that’s so cute! I love it.

CUT TO: LC’s Condo – Mammoth.

They are getting ready to go out.

LC: Do you know that except for going to the Jacuzzi, we are yet to leave this cabin?

Kaitlyn: Uh huh. This will the first time we’ve braved the outside world.

LC: I know. (They leave in the car)

Kaitlyn: Are we meeting Talan?

LC: Yes that’s the plan. Oh that boy. He’s so funny. (They go in a restaurant and sit down) I’ve been chipping my nail polish the whole week and I’m like halfway done.

Kaitlyn: I can’t even do that.

LC: This is nice.

Kaitlyn: This is pretty.

LC: I’m cold. (Takes off her hat) Oh gosh. (Talan comes in. LC hugs him.)

Talan: What’s up? I’m so tired. Hi. How are you doing?

LC: I’m cold. So how was snowboarding?

Talan: It was fun. It’s like…(His phone rings)

Kaitlyn: Kristin?

Talan: Hi Kristin. All right. Okay I’ll call you when I’m done. (He puts the phone away) I love that girl to death. She’s cool but she can a bitch to me. She comes back ten minutes later “Can we go snowboarding? Let’s go”.

Kaitlyn: I’m sorry.

LC: I’m sorry.

Talan: Can I get a hot chocolate please? Cool. How was your Valentine’s Day?

LC: Stephen flew back for the day, and he brought me candy and flowers to surprise me. And he brought me lots of really good chocolate. And I really liked that.

Talan: Chocolate says I love you.

LC: Chocolate says I love you and flowers say I’m sorry.

Talan: Yeah.

LC: Yeah he’s all right.

Talan: He went to dinner with Kristin before that too.

LC: Did he really? Shut up.

Talan: Yeah. I swear on my life.

LC: You’re so lying.

Talan: You guys aren’t, like, dating?

LC: No. I don’t know.

CUT TO: Kristin’s Condo – Mammoth.

They are packing to go home to Laguna.

All: (As they leave) Bye! (They get in the car and head home)

CUT TO: Laguna Beach – Alex H.’s House

They go outside and sit.

Alex H: Billy come here.

Jessica: I’m so tired.  

Kristin: Look how different the weather is here. Completely different from the snow.

Alex H: It’s completely opposite you know? (They laugh)

Kristin: Uh huh.

Jessica: I had fun though.

Kristin: Oh I had so much fun.

Jessica: It was such a good break ‘cause it like helped me a little bit.

Kristin: Oh you talked to Jason like every f***ing day. To tell him how much you love him.

Jessica: No I don’t.

Alex H: Oh don’t even say that.

Kristin: You told him you loved him you dumbass.

Alex H: I heard you in the bathroom in Mammoth saying “I love you too”. Bitch.

Kristin: Slut. Jessica it’s kinda like my situation with Stephen. You just need more time away from him.

Jessica: But okay I see Jason every day. And Jason and I were like really, really good friends before. And I don’t know. It’s just different.

Kristin: Um, I’m going to lunch with Stephen today.

Alex H: Why is he in town on a random Sunday?

Kristin: I don’t know.

Jessica: How’s that gonna be?

Kristin: I don’t know. I just don’t wanna hurt his feelings. Well it’s been fun guys.

Alex H: Is it time for lunch with Stephen yet?

Kristin: (They all get up) It’s really hot out here.

CUT TO: Outside a restaurant

Kristin sits down at a table. Stephen crosses the street and joins her.

Stephen: Look at you.

Kristin: Hi.

Stephen: You look good. (They hug) How are you?  

Kristin: Good. How are you?

Stephen: Good. Did you order?

Kristin: Yeah that’s what this is.

Stephen: Oh nice. Nice. (Someone brings the food over)

Kristin: What’s up?

Stephen: Not much just tired.

Kristin: Yeah?

Stephen: Yeah.

Kristin: (To waitress) Thank you.

Stephen: Thank you.

Kristin: I want some. Ow! (They eat the food) I just back from Mammoth. I am so tired.

Stephen: Did you snowboard every day?

Kristin: Every day.

Stephen: Every day?

Kristin: Every day.

Stephen: You promise?

Kristin: Uh huh.

Stephen: You’re not lying to me are you?

Kristin: Nuh-uh. We went…you know Wave rave, that snowboard shop up there?

Stephen: Yeah.

Kristin: A bunch of…three of the guys that work there came with us snowboarding. I’m hanging out with them in a few nights.

Stephen: That’s sick.

Kristin: Yeah.

Stephen: Was it so much fun?

Kristin: It was fun.

Stephen: I’m jealous. Did you see Lauren up there?

Kristin: Nuh-uh.

Stephen: You never saw her?

Kristin: Nuh-uh.

Stephen: She never came over? You guys didn’t party?

Kristin: So why did you come down here this weekend?

Stephen: I don’t know. I thought I could see you.

Kristin: Aw.

Stephen: When are you gonna come up to visit me?

Kristin: Stephen…

Stephen: Kristin…

Kristin: When?

Stephen: Please come up.

Kristin: Okay.

Stephen: What?

Taylor, Alex M, and Morgan S are sitting at a table outside.

Morgan S: This morning I talked to Kristin. I was so jealous. I wanted to go snowboarding so bad and Talan is like on his thing, fresh powder, out + about. I was like…

Taylor: So cool.

Morgan S: Last year when I was up there with Kristin, we went to Wave Rave, which is like you rent snowboards and stuff, and we met like the hottest guy, his name’s Johnny, so they went back there  + rented snowboards from them + like they took them snowboarding and stuff.

Alex M: Oh man, snowboarding with hot guys. I’d be embarrassed. Well at least she’s over Jason right?

Morgan S: Well Jessica told Cami like “If you hook up with him, I’ll kill you”.

Taylor: No…

Morgan S: I guess.

Alex M: I don’t care. If she’s gonna come up here and yell at me, excuse me, that’s funny. I don’t even think Jason even really liked her in the first place. (Taylor laughs. Then they get up and leave.)
