Previously On Laguna Beach…

LC: (V.O.) (First shows LC on the beach alone, then with her friends) Well I can’t believe it’s almost over. (Shows Cabo then Catalina) What a crazy time we had.

Kristin: (Shows her when her car broke down) My car is dunzo!

LC: (V.O.) (Shows Stephen dancing with the model) who knew senior year (Then shows Kristin, then Stephen telling her he loved her in Cabo) would be filled with so much drama.

Stephen: (In Cabo) Oh my god Sam. I’m such a slut.

Morgan: (When she got rejected from BYU) I’m not staying here. I’m not gonna stay in Laguna Beach.

LC: (V.O.) (Shows Stephen and Kristin in Cabo) Okay we didn’t always get along.

Kristin: (On a date with Stephen) So you were at Lauren’s house. You just lied to me.

Stephen: (In Cabo) Slut!

LC: (At her house when she got grounded) This is you ruining my senior year.  

LC: (V.O.) (Shows Stephen and Kristin together) But most of it has been really great. (Shows LC kiss Stephen on the cheek in Cabo)

LC: (Shows her talking to Lo) There are a few things that are definitely staying in Cabo.

LC: (V.O.) (Shows the Black and White Affair) All the dances, all the parties (Shows them in the limo going to Prom) and the beach. (Shows LC sitting alone on the beach)

LC: (At the bonfire) Stephen, if you wanted someone you could have them.

LC: (V.O.) (Shows them leaving the bonfire) I’m gonna miss everything about Laguna. (First shows Stephen in the water, then the Black and White Affair) Well not everything.

Kristin: (Talking to Talan) I hate Lauren. She just needs to like get out of my life.

LC: (V.O.) (Shows Graduation) But it’s time for us to move on.

Stephen: (At the beach talking to Trey) It’s gonna be dunzo.

Kristin: (Talking with Christina and Morgan) We’re gonna break up.

Stephen: (Looking at LC’s new house) Gonna have a nice little room up in San Francisco and come back to this place.

LC: I’m not gonna wanna leave.

LC: (V.O.) All good things must come to an end. Well maybe.

CUT TO: The Beach

LC is walking by herself. She sees Stephen in the water. She sits down. When he comes out of the water he sits with her.

Stephen: What’s up LC?

LC: Hey Stephen.

Stephen: How are you? You need a tan. (LC hits him) OW!

LC: I’m fine.

Stephen: I remember all the way back to first grade, when we couldn’t pay girls to be near us. (LC laughs) I remember when we were running around, doing whatever we could to be like around the girls and like no we just had cooties.

LC: It’s okay Stephen. You still have cooties. Think we’re gonna find this in San Francisco?

Stephen: I’m gonna miss this so much. You know, I’m so stoked you’re going up there. The big city.

LC: Just Stephen and Lauren in San Francisco. Oh you know, we’re gonna come back from college, and everyone’s gonna have their stories and be like “Yeah, well me and LC…”

Stephen: “Me and Lauren up in San Fran…”

LC: “This one night…”

Stephen: Things have changed.

LC: It’s weird ‘cause everything’s about to change.

Opening Credits

CUT TO: Laguna Surf and Sport

Stephen goes in.

Stephen: What up?

Jason: Hey.

Kara: Hey.

Stephen: What’s going on?

Jason: ‘Sup buddy?

Stephen: How are you guys?

Kara: Good.

Stephen: Came to give you my keys.

Jason: How are you?

Stephen: Getting ready to go.

Jason: Oh you are? Excited?

Stephen: Excited. I’m pumped.

Jason: Yeah?

Stephen: I’m ready. I was kinda weirded out for a little while there like I don’t know, I was kinda scared about it, if anything was gonna go down there, just weird.

Jason: Just getting up there solo. The whole deal.

Stephen: I’ve been in this little bubble for the last 10 years. No, more like 15 years.

Jason: Yeah.

Stephen: Since I was like three. It’s definitely gonna be weird but…

Jason: Summer’s over.

Stephen: I’ll be back.

Jason: Yeah.

Stephen: (Hands the key) If there’s a job for me.

Jason: Christmastime.

Stephen: Really?

Jason: Yeah.

Stephen: All right, good.

Jason: Anytime. Keep in touch.

Stephen: Will do.

Kara: Bye. (She hugs Stephen) Have fun.

Stephen: I will.

Jason: See you Stephen.

Stephen: See you. (He high fives Jason)

Jason: Take it easy. Safe drive. (Stephen leaves)

CUT TO: The Beach

Everyone is hanging out there.

Alex: I wanna throw it. I wanna see how far I can get it.

Kristin: Stephen. (He throws the ball) Oh my god! (She misses it) Okay ready?

Jessica: What if it lands in the fire? (Alex tries to hike it, but it hits Kristin)

Dieter: Dude she’s gonna hit LC. Just do it.

Kristin: Damn it! Look it’s farther.

Lo: Does someone want to make me a hot dog? Ah! What is this? What is this?

Stephen: I think its patties. It’s hot dogs and stuff. Yeah it’s hot dogs.

Lo: Can you make me one because I don’t know how?

Stephen: Just put it on the fire.

Lo: But I don’t know how. Help me.

Stephen: You high maintenance little bitch.

Lo: Please help me.

Stephen: Some poor man’s gonna marry you someday.

Lo: Please help me.

Stephen: You just put it on the little thing. I’ll cook you a wiener.

Lo: My husband will love me for who I am. Excuse me?

Stephen: What?

Lo: I’ll cook you…oh!

Christina: Can you believe this will the last time we’ll all be together really?

Kristin: Yup, can’t.

Christina: It really is one of the last times we’re all gonna be together.

LC: No we’re gonna come back and be together.

Stephen: I feel like there’s a reunion in our future.

Morgan: Everyone’s gonna be changed.

Christina: But it won’t be the same.

Kristin: Christina we’re still gonna hang out.

Christina: Yeah.

Kristin: Jessica this is for you. Stephen and I went to Tiffany’s to look for rings.

Christina: Oh!

Kristin: Yeah we’re getting married.

Christina: Oh my god. How cute.

Kristin: So we picked out these like…Hey! Back off my marshmallow! Oh Alex! Oh no! Midday!  Midday!

LC: She like half tells a story and then leaves.

Kristin: I’ll tell you in a minute. Hold on.

Stephen: There’s enough…there’s more.

Kristin: Like woo! Yum food! (She eats) (She and Morgan laugh. LC throws something and laughs. Morgan and Kristin take a picture)

CUT TO: Later

Stephen: (He called Trey and is leaving a message) Trey, we’re bonfiring it up and you’re not here and you’re the only one and we feel like you’re a loser, but whatever dude. We miss you bro. And someone wants to say “What up”. Say what up to Trey.

Kristin: What up?

Christina: (And everyone else) Hey Trey!  

Morgan: We miss you!

Stephen: You’re kinda loved buddy. All right well give me a call. Bye. (He hangs up) High school. (He laughs) Just kidding.

Morgan: We should do like a e-mail or something. Like you know.

Kristin: Yeah, yeah. Definitely. I wanna e-mail with you guys.

Stephen: I’ll be getting a ton of e-mail.

Kristin: Hey we’re gonna leave you guys.

Stephen: We’re gonna be the first.

Christina: Bye guys.

Kristin: See you.

Stephen: See you around Christmas.

Christina: Stephen don’t leave me. (They hug people good bye)

Lo: Stephen may I have a hug please? (They hug. He pats LC on the shoulder)

Kristin: Whatever, don’t you worry. Lo, bye you guys.

Stephen: Bye guys. (LC waves good bye. They leave)

Morgan: Two down.

Lo: This is depressing. And it’s so funny because we talk about Laguna like we talk about it like it’s such a piece of s**t, but honestly, it really is one of the best places to live, anywhere.

LC: I’m coming back.

Morgan: I love Laguna. I wanna raise my family here.

LC: Same with me.

Morgan: It’s the best gorgeous place you know of all America. (It goes to where they put the fire out and leave)

Lo: The bubble’s breaking. The bubble’s breaking.

CUT TO: Stephen’s House

Kristin is helping him pack.

Kristin: I’m just saying this because I don’t like Lauren but I really could see her hating college and coming back.

Stephen: Lauren?

Kristin: Yeah.

Stephen: You can’t see her living on her own?

Kristin: I can her living on her own, but like meeting new people, I think she’s gonna have a tough time.

Stephen: Yeah. You know whose really liking college right now is Trey. Every time I talk to him now he’s just like he’s weirded out by all the people but he’s still like stoked.

Kristin: That’s cool.

Stephen: He loves it.

Kristin: I think that Morgan will like college.

Stephen: Morgan adapts really easy ‘cause she moved to this high school like halfway through high school so that’s kinda knarly.

Kristin: Well yeah. And she’s really friendly you know?

Stephen: Yeah she’s gonna make friends so easily.

Kristin: Yeah.

Stephen: That’s why I’m not really worried for myself but…

Kristin: I think you’ll be fine.

Stephen: I’ve been like here all my life though. But somewhere else, I’m kinda like confused and like baffled. Even at orientation at school I was like “Whoa, people are so different”.

Kristin: You should be open to it there.

Stephen: Yeah.

Kristin: And just know that everyone else, like all the other freshman, wanna make friends too. All you guys are like all the same and whatever.

Stephen: Is that one good to go?

Kristin: Well no. We could probably get more stuff in it. Like here like those socks. Give me those socks. Stephen are you gonna miss anyone?

Stephen: Am I gonna miss anyone?

Kristin: Yeah.

Stephen: Yeah all my friends.

CUT TO: The Beach

Stephen and Kristin are there. They sit on the roof of Kristin’s car.

Stephen: Gonna get up here? It’s such a knarly sunset.

Kristin: I know.

Stephen: Look at the boats, like grabbing the sun’s going. It’s my last sunset in Laguna for a while. (He hugs her and kisses her) You’re my first and only like actual real relationship. To like have with somebody. As far as like getting close with a person and like hang out them and go on dates. Instead of like…

Kristin: Remember our first date? I was so nervous. Yeah. I was so nervous.

Stephen: I was pretty nervous too.

Kristin: I was so nervous.

Stephen: What’s gonna happen to us?

Kristin: I don’t know.

Stephen: What would happen in your perfect world?

Kristin: That everytime you came back we’d still be together. And you wouldn’t hook up with any girls. And I wouldn’t hook up with any guys.

Stephen: Then don’t hook up with guys.

Kristin: Okay then don’t hook up with any girls. It’s gonna be so much easier for you.

Stephen: Easier for me?

Kristin: There’s gonna be all these new girls and I have no way of finding about anything, but if I hook up with someone you’ll find out about it within an hour. And…

Stephen: Standard Laguna.

Kristin: Yeah. And there’s no one here I wanna hook up with. So…

Stephen: Then you’re over it.

Kristin: Okay well so are you. (Stephen kisses her. She puts a jacket on) So are you gonna tell me?

Stephen: I don’t really know.

Kristin: Like what are you gonna say? What are we? Broken up?

Stephen: No.

Kristin: Or just like taking a break?

Stephen: Taking a break? See I don’t…

Kristin: Putting it on hold?

Stephen: We’re just together with an “open” relationship. I don’t know.

Kristin: Okay. But don’t be open like that.

Stephen: I don’t wanna be open. That’s what sucks.

Kristin: So I’m gonna have to come up and visit you one time.

Stephen: It’ll be fun.

Kristin: To let those girls know.

Stephen: You can come hang out with Lauren. Are you gonna hang out with Lauren?

Stephen: I don’t know. Especially when I have that apartment all by myself and it’s gonna be like super lonely. Like I’m not gonna invite her like “Hey come over”. No just to like I’ll wanna go out and do stuff. I’ll probably just seriously walk out the front door and just wander around town.

Kristin: No you won’t. You’ll call Lauren.

Stephen: Shut up.

Kristin: You know. You just said it.

Stephen: I love that feeling when you like not with you haven’t seen somebody.

Kristin: You get the butterflies in your stomach.

Stephen: Somebody that you actually like care about and haven’t seen for awhile.

Kristin: Oh!

Stephen: And then you get to see them again and like I don’t know. Like that point where that day I’m gonna see you I’m probably be so nervous.

Kristin: Me too.

Stephen: It’ll be fun. (She nods. They kiss) I love you.

Kristin: I love you too. (They kiss again. They get back in the car + leave. She drops Stephen off home)

CUT TO: Stephen’s House – The Next Day

Bruce: Do you have directions?

Stephen: Yeah. (He takes his stuff to the car)

Bruce: Okay. Bye son. (He hugs Stephen)

Stephen: I’ll call you once I get up there.

Bruce: Okay. (Stephen gets in his car and leaves. It shows him driving through Laguna. It also shows empty places in Laguna)

CUT TO: Kristin’s House

She and Talan are talking.

Talan: So you and Stephen, you guys still together right?

Kristin: We’re like having an open relationship.

Talan: Oh. Yeah, so wherever he comes back you guys are together.

Kristin: Yeah.

Talan: Unless you’re like together with someone else.

Kristin: But I don’t really think I’m gonna be.

Talan: Yeah. I totally understand. Really.

Kristin: Oh you know?

Talan: Yeah.

CUT TO: Stephen

He is still driving to San Francisco. He is on the highway. It shows the sign to San Francisco.

CUT TO: Morgan’s House

Christina: So you’re almost all packed.

Morgan: Yeah I know. It still feels weird. Like this room becoming empty.

Christina: Yeah.

Morgan: I know.

Christina: Is she taking your room?

Morgan: She’s had her room packed for like weeks. All my stuff’s either gonna be like down in her room or like in the garage. I’ve been so excited and so preoccupied. You’re forgetting what like you’re leaving behind you know?

Christina: You sure are. You’re never gonna met anyone like me Morgan.

Morgan: I know.

Christina: I’m just kidding.

Morgan: Whose gonna replace you?

Christina: Well no one.

Morgan: Of course. But still, I’m not gonna see you ‘til Thanksgiving. That’s such a long time.

Christina: I’ll see you before then. I’ll come visit you guys.

Morgan: But even so, like I know we all say all that stuff…

Christina: But I really will.

Morgan: Yeah, yeah. So this is it.

Christina: It’s not “it”.

Morgan: It is.

Christina: No it’s not.

Morgan: Who knows Christina what could happen.

Christina: Who knows. Maybe you’ll change a lot at BYU.

Morgan: Maybe you’ll become some famous actress and not remember me.

Christina: That’s the plan. (Morgan gasps. Christina laughs) I’m just kidding. I don’t know.

Morgan: I’ll call you tomorrow on my drive up there.

Christina: Yeah you should call me right when you get there, k?

Morgan: Okay.

Christina: Wait this is so weird! I’m like “I’ll see you in three months”. Give me a hug, (They hug) Bye Morgan.

Morgan: Bye. (Christina leaves)

CUT TO: Later that night – LC’s House

Lo: I need to say good bye to you because you’re leaving me forever. Give me a hug. Put the cake down. (They hug) You’ll have fun. Okay?

LC: I know.

Lo: Will you call me when you get there?

LC: Yeah I’ll call you tomorrow.

Lo: K. Bye stinkface.

LC: Bye.

Lo: I love you. Good luck packing and stuff. (Lo leaves)

LC: Okay so…

Kaitlin: No let’s do pajamas. ‘Cause there’s a lot of that.

LC: Really?

Kaitlyn: Yes.

LC: I didn’t think I had enough pajamas.

Kaitlyn: You do.

Jen: Do you have much clothes three months worth is?

LC: Have you ever heard of a washing machine Jen? Have you ever done laundry?

Kaitlyn: It’s easy to say it.

Jen: I’ve thrown stuff in. I’ve never done like a load. With colors and stuff.

Kaitlyn: And you’re 18?

Jen: I guarantee 20 minutes later, Lo’s gonna pop back up.

LC: Yeah she’s tried to leave like 6 times already. (Lo comes back in)

Lo: I’m back again. Are you taking your Gocchi bag to school?

LC: You know what? Your Louie Vuttion is fake so don’t give me started on fake designer purses.  

Lo: It’s a slash between Gucci and Coach.

LC: I like that you bring it out here to make fun of me though.

Lo: Can I have it? And like put it in my room?

LC: Just…do you see? This is a really sad face that I’m leaving you. (She smiles. Lo laughs)

Lo: Give me a hug. I love you and your Gocchi.

LC: You just made fun of my Gocchi. (They hug)

Kaitlyn: You just messed up my entire pile.

CUT TO: The Next Morning – LC’s House

She is getting her stuff together to go. She gets in the car with her stuff.

Kathy: Are we good?

Jim: I think we’re good. (LC hugs Kaitlyn)

Kaitlyn: I’m laughing not crying.

Jim: Not crying. Get in the car. (They get in the car and leave. LC takes one look at Laguna as she goes)

CUT TO: The Airport

Jim: Can we say good bye right there and then leave? We promise. We won’t sneak through. (LC hugs her mom.)

Kathy: I love you. Call me every night. (LC hugs her dad)

Jim: Bye.

LC: Bye Dad. (LC goes to get on the plane. Jim hugs Kathy as she cries. LC looks at them one last time before she goes. She gets her stuff checked and then leaves. It shows the plane in the air.)

CUT TO: Airport in San Francisco.

LC comes off the plane with her stuff. She goes to get the rest of her stuff. She goes outside. We see Stephen is there to pick her up. She hugs him. They put her stuff in the car and leave the airport.

LC: Oh my god. We’re living on our own.

Stephen: I know.

LC: I don’t live with my parents anymore. Weird. (Then it shows Stephen driving the car on the highway.)
