Previously On Laguna Beach…

Lo: (Shows Lo and LC) I’m just so excited. I’m so excited to graduate.

LC: (V.O.) (Shows Graduation) Well, we finally made it. High school is over. (Shows Kristin and Stephen in the water) And summer is here. (Shows LC with Lo, Morgan and Christina) And that means it’s one big party in Laguna Beach.

Talan (Shows him in his hottub with Lo and LC) Would you ever have a threesome? (LC looks shocked he asked that)

LC: (V.O.) (Shows them at Trey’s) But Trey being the first to go, (He hugs Kristin) We realized our party was about to end. (Shows Stephen and Kristin at the beach) As for Stephen and Kristin, their time is ticking away.

Stephen: Wanna take a picture of your eyes, like this close, before I go.

LC: (V.O.) (Shows Kristin helping Stephen pack) ‘Cause in a couple of months, We’re all heading off to college. (Shows Kristin and Alex at the beach) Well, not all of us.

Alex: I was telling you the other night at Dieter’s, I was looking at you too, and I was like…it was so cute. ‘Cause I could see you guys like fit for each other.

Kristin: Like seriously, we’re like the best that we have been, like since like we ever first started going out.

Alex: I wouldn’t be sad. I mean, have your fun.

Kristin: It’s gonna be hard, it’s gonna be weird, like the next month, is gonna be weird. Me like getting used to him not being here and me not seeing him every day. I really just wanna have fun with Stephen this summer.

Alex: Yeah.

Kristin: Wanna go in the water?

Alex: Yeah. I’ll feel it.

Kristin: Okay. Come on.

Alex: I’ll feel it. (They get up and go in it)

CUT TO: The Beach

Stephen and Kristin are heading there. They sneak into a hotel pool.

Stephen: You look touristy.

They swim in the pool. When they get out of the pool, Stephen puts his arm around her and they kiss. They leave the pool.

CUT TO: Café

LC is there and sees Trey.

LC: Hey you.

Trey: Hey LC.

LC: How you doing?

Trey: Pretty good. I got you a lemonade.

LC: Oh thank you. What’s up?

Patricia: Hello.

Trey: Hey. How you doing Patricia?

Patricia: Good, good. So are you excited?

Trey: I’m so excited.

Patricia: And when do you leave?

Trey: Friday morning.

Patricia: All the best darling.

Trey: Yeah.

Patricia: Let me give you a hug. (They hug)

Trey: I’ll see you. See you. Bye.

Patricia: Bye. (She leaves)

LC: So you’re not nervous anymore?

Trey: I’m gonna do it anyway so there’s no point in getting nervous. You here about Stephen?

LC: Yeah. I haven’t talked to Stephen other than like a nod when I say hi to him.

Trey: Really?

LC: Yeah.

Trey: I hate relationships like that.

LC: It sucks ‘cause at first I was like so stoked I was going to college with him and I was like…+ we were like “Yeah! Like it’s gonna be so much fun. Like I have one of my best friends going up there with me” and now it’s just like “Hi I’m Lauren”.

Trey: Things will change. They’ll go back.

LC: It just sucks. (She sips her drink)

CUT TO: The Beach

Stephen is surfing with Kristin. When he’s near her, they kiss. Kristin gets out of the water. She takes the wetsuit off. He takes his off too. She goes back in the water in her bikini. They both get out of the water. He puts his shirt back on.

Stephen: That was kind of worthless.

Kristin: Yeah there’s no waves.

Stephen: There’s waves but bad.

Kristin: Yeah some of them…I got a little beat on one of them.

Stephen: You’re right. Where that one where you got so barreled.

Kristin: So barreled. (She laughs)

CUT TO: Beach

LC and Talan are there talking.

Talan: You talked to Lauren? Lo?

LC: Oh yeah. She said you’ve been calling her a lot lately.

Talan: Yeah. That’s what I was gonna ask you ‘cause she never calls me back.

LC: Yeah.

Talan: I was just wondering. I just call her to hang out but she’s like…she thinks I’m trying to hook up with her again.

LC: I don’t know.

Talan: She left her earring in my car.

LC: (Laughs) How did she lose an earring in your car?

Talan: No, no, no. All we’ve done is kiss. We have a swear.

LC: Yeah I know. I was like right there.

Talan: Oh yeah.

LC: Both times.

Talan: (They laugh) So you and Stephen are living next to each other or you don’t even know?

LC: I don’t know. I mean, I don’t know where he’s gonna live, but our schools are right next to each other.

Talan: Really?

CUT TO: Beach

Stephen and Kristin are there hanging out with Morgan and Christina.

Stephen: You’re not going to do SMU?

Christina: A little change of plans.

Stephen: So weird.

Christina: I’m moving up to LA like next month.

Kristin: You are?

Stephen: Next month.

Kristin: Are you going to get an apartment up there?

Christina: Yeah. I’m getting my own apartment and getting like an agent and a manager and doing acting, dance, and voice three times a week.

Stephen: No way.

Christina: And pursuing my acting career. So…

Morgan: Remember when you used to want to be a marine biologist?

Stephen: I was just thinking about that.

Morgan: I guess screw that.

Stephen: What happened to that?

Christina: I always wanted to do that. I wouldn’t mind it.

Stephen: You could have changed the world.

Morgan: Marine biologist, actress. I mean, pretty much.

Christina: Whatever.

Stephen: Maybe you can plant in a movie.

Christina: That’s perfect.

Morgan: That’s cool about being an actress.

Christina: Well I figured you gotta follow your dreams, you know? You just can’t sit back and see what happens. You gotta go out there and do it. Uh! (Puts her fist in the air)

Stephen: Good talk Christina. (Drinks his water)

Christina: Just great.

Stephen: I’m gonna go down and talk to Trey. (He leaves)

Christina: What are you gonna do when Stephen leaves for school?

Kristin: Like what are Stephen and I gonna do?

Christina: Relationship, not in like…?

Kristin: Um, we’re gonna break up.

Christina: That’s a good idea.

Kristin: Yeah. I wouldn’t…

Christina: Girls that like have their boyfriends at college and they’re like…

Kristin: Are you dumb?

Christina: “He’s faithful to me”.

Kristin: Like Taylor and Tyler.

Christina: Right. So stupid.

Kristin: Yeah. So stupid.

Christina: Like yeah, that’s great. You guys really love each other. But do you really think up in college, like going to parties, he’s gonna be like “Sorry, I have a girlfriend”.

Kristin: “In Laguna who will never find out about anything”. Yeah no way.

CUT TO: Another part of the beach

Stephen and Trey are talking.

Trey: How are you and your chick?

Stephen: It’s gonna be dunzo.

Trey: Yeah.

Stephen: It’s gonna be put on pause.

Trey: On pause. You guys always knew you guys would come back later on in life.

Stephen: I’m so f**king stoked to go to college. Dude, it’s so rad. I’m so amped.

Trey: To get away from the drama.

Stephen: Yeah. You wanna go skating tomorrow morning?

Trey: Tomorrow morning.

Stephen: I’m so amped on that.

Trey: Yeah.

Stephen: I gotta work at 10 but we’ll go in the morning.

Trey: All right. I think I’m gonna jump in soon. (It shows Stephen + Trey go in the water)

CUT TO: Trey’s House

Stephen: I’m admitting it right now. Somebody moved those chips. Game on. (They’re playing poker)

Polster: $2.00. Fold.

Stephen: Six again dude.

Trey: Whatever.

Stephen: San Francisco State is gonna be weird. I’m just scared on the environment. That’s why I‘m glad LC is going. That’s huge ‘cause I like whenever I’m bummed out…

Dieter: Don’t rely on f**king LC.

Stephen: I’m not relying on her.

Trey: Dude you’re gonna be fine.

Stephen: No like it’s standard for anybody that goes away to college, unless you’re a really unique person, you’re gonna be so many things where you kinda wish you were back in high school. Everyone does.

Trey: That’s true.

Stephen: ‘Cause you have like this set of friends and all that and making new friends is still it’s kinda intimidating where you don’t know one f**king person out of 3,000 kids. And like those first couple of months, are gonna be crucial + that’s why I’m not gonna rely on Lauren, ‘cause those first couple of months, when there’s those super burly days where you feel like you just wanna break down, there’s like someone there. That’s why like I get super sketched when I think about San Francisco State. Then like I know Lauren’s gonna be there + like just someone like…

Dieter: To hook up with.

Polster: Not even dude.

Trey: Yeah even.

CUT TO: Parking Lot

Trey and Stephen are going skateboarding.

Stephen: Does this card back up?

Trey: Yeah, yeah. You need the card. (They get out of the car and get the skateboards and go skateboarding on the street)

CUT TO: LC’s House

Her and Lo are outside on the deck.

Lo: I’ve never been to Paris.

LC: Me neither. It sucks.

Lo: I know. Who has a Jacuzzi?

LC: Talan has a Jacuzzi.

Lo: He does?

LC: He just got it put in. He was all excited.

Lo: At his dad’s house, yeah?

LC: Uh-huh.

Lo: Let’s go.

LC: Not during the day, in a Jacuzzi. We’ll call him later and see if he wants to hang out. Then we’ll go in the Jacuzzi.

Lo: Call him right now and be like “Hey Talan, let’s hang”.

LC: Should I?

Lo: “And go in your Jacuzzi”. Do it, do it.

LC: (She takes out her phone) Do you want to talk to him or do you want me to call him?

Lo: “Talan!” Do I sound like Kristin? “Talan!” “Stephen!”

LC: “Ste-phen!”

Lo: (She calls Talan) Hi Talan.

Talan: Hey what’s up Lo?

Lo: What are you doing? You just got a facial? (They laugh) Talan why did you do that? Sorry I’ll stop. I get facials too. It’s not that big of a deal. Do you wanna go in your Jacuzzi?

Talan: I think it sounds like a plan.

Lo: Okay. Bye. (She hangs up) Jacuzzi. Jacuzzi.

LC: Wanna go now?

Lo: Uh-huh. (They go inside to get ready) Jacuzzi, Jacuzzi.

CUT TO: Talan’s House

They go in the Jacuzzi

Lo: So Talan do you have girls who use your Jacuzzi frequently?

Talan: No. Actually you guys are the first. Would you ever have a threesome?

LC: No!

Talan: Ever?

LC: No that’s disgusting.

Talan: Two guys? Two guys?

LC: No.

Talan: Three girls? Two girls? (She shakes her head)

Lo: If I join what?

Talan: Senior year.

LC: You know what’s really cool? Senior year is where like you get a lot closer with all your friends. You just really hang out with. All the girls hang out with all the guys.

Lo: You just kinda realize who are your real friends.

LC: Yeah.

Lo: You know? Senior year, I just I don’t know, I didn’t really take it too seriously. ‘Cause, I don’t know, I don’t think it’s that important to try to like be super cool.

LC: Don’t take anything too seriously

Lo: You know? To be popular and be friends with everybody. It’d just not necessary. The years before, like I’d be nice, like so nice to everybody, it was almost like fake. You know? Like I had my friends but then there was everybody else. And I just got over it senior year.

LC: She basically got mean senior year.

Lo: I didn’t get mean you whorebag.

Talan: Whoa!

Lo: Maybe a little mean.

LC: Just listen to what you just said.

Lo: I know.

Talan: So, what should I do to get more girls in my hottub? (They don’t answer) Thank you, thank you for all the advice. (They laugh)

LC: Shut up.

Lo: Yeah you really don’t help Talan.

Talan: Yeah I do. I wanna get out. I’m getting kinda dizzy.

LC: Yeah. My hands are gross.

Lo: I’m a prune.

Talan: Yeah my toes…

LC: What?

Lo: What time is Trey’s tonight?

LC: Um, about 6:00. (They get out of the Jacuzzi)

CUT TO: Trey’s House

Trey: I love them.

Morgan: Are you excited to go to New York?

Trey: Uh-huh.

Kristin: It’ll be so much fun in New York though Trey.

Stephen: He belongs there dude.

Trey: Definitely the weather’s gonna be different.

Kristin: Yeah.

Trey: But uh I think the hardest parts gonna be, like not having any homebase, like families all the way across the country.

Stephen: Beach.

Trey: I know. No beach. Like everything I’m really familiar with.

Stephen: Do one of the poses you did in the fashion show.

Dieter: I’m not a professional, what can I say?

Stephen: Do one of the poses you did at the fashion show. The original pose. (It shows everyone talking. LC watches Stephen. Then Trey hugs everyone as they leave)

Trey: (Bumps fists with Dieter) I’ll see you soon.

Stephen: Whatever. Like back in the day we’d have like these parties where we’d be like “No dude” After we’d sneak up like out there.

Trey: The grass. And the roof.

Stephen: On the roof in our tents just dreaming about high school and now it’s like over and we’re walking on like game over dude. What are we gonna do? Trips me out dude.

Trey: It’s such a trip dude. You taking off. San Francisco, New York. 3,000 miles away dude.

Stephen: I swear, like my best memories of like senior year like parties here. Such a f**king mellow house. Like just talking to your parents and like thanking them for dinner and just like “Dude I love this family man”.

Trey: Send me pictures of your holidays up in San Francisco.

Stephen: Yeah right dude. It’s gonna be…I don’t know. Good times dude. I’ll be in touch dude.

Trey: Okay.

Stephen: For sure. (Stephen leaves)

CUT TO: The Next Day

Trey is on his roof with his dog, taking one last look at the beach before he leaves.

Stan: You about ready?

Trey: Yeah. Let’s go.

Stan: Yeah. Why don’t we grab your bags and head on out?

Trey: All right.

Stan:  (Cut to outside where Trey is hugging his dog) Nah, he’s just saying good bye to Austin. They grew up together after all.

Trey: Take care, okay? (He gets up) K, buddy. (He gets his stuff + leaves. He looks at his house) Bye house.

CUT TO: Outside

Stephen is sitting talking with Dieter.

Stephen: I remember when me and Trey were little, I remember when we spent like a whole night like we were going to get a tattoo. We like sat in his bathroom with our shirts off, looking back and forth in the mirror. Like “Ah, no, it’d be so much cooler right here”.

Dieter: He changed so much from when we were little.

Stephen: Dude, oh totally. Like the individual God. That’s what I liked about him.

Dieter: In our town dude, obviously if you make clothes, people are gonna rouse you. You just don’t know him.

Stephen: Not even if you make clothes, you just make yourself stand out ‘cause you’re not like everyone else.

Dieter: Yeah.

Stephen: People are gonna have their opinion. That’s exactly what happened. But Trey like doesn’t care you know? That bums me out that he was the first one to go

Dieter: Yeah.

Stephen: That sucks.

CUT TO: Outside

LC is there with Lo, Morgan, and Christina

LC: It was so weird saying good bye to Trey. It didn’t like seem like he was leaving. I just kind of like say good bye to him like I’d say good bye to him any other night.

Christina: It’s gonna be weird coming back for like Thanksgiving and like Christmas + stuff and seeing how everyone’s changed. It’s just crazy, like after four years of high school, here we are. Like all going off to different places and like…

LC: More than four years. I mean I know you came in freshman year, but me and Lo have been such a team since…

Lo: I know, since we were little kids.

Morgan: Like where do you think? Not like where do you think you’ll be in 10 years, but like where we think each other will be in 10 years, you know?

Christina: You’ll be married and living probably back here.

LC: Oh how boring. With your cute little family.

Christina: I think I’ll be in New York or something.

Lo: Lauren, in 10 years, is gonna like be driving her big silver Mercedes, + like living in her beach house with her billionaire husband.

Christina: With her really hot husband.

LC: Yes! I like you guys. No and Lo. I can see Lo at the reunion, waltzing in, with her like bling, fur.

Christina: Except she’s some like high executive business woman.

Morgan: Yes. My life sucks. That sucks. That’s so not me either.

Lo: Where will Christina be in 10 years?

Christina: I’ll be going to the Oscars, saying thanks for all my friends.

LC: With like the huge gown and the big…

Morgan: We’re just now starting our lives pretty much.

Christina: Guys I think we should do a toast.

Lo: A toast to what?

Morgan: To the beginning to our lives.

Lo: That’s cheese.

LC: No.

Christina: To the good times, the bad times.

LC: No, the end of one chapter of our lives and the beginning of another.

Lo: Oh you guys are so cheeseball, but I’ll do it anyway. (They do a toast)

CUT TO: The Beach

Stephen and Kristin are sitting there together. They kiss.

Kristin: I’m gonna miss you next year.

Stephen: What?

Kristin: I’m gonna miss you next year.

Stephen: I wanna come down and hang out with you, even if you have a boyfriend, which is hard.

Kristin: Like I’m gonna have a boyfriend. (They kiss)

Stephen: I wanna take a picture of your eyes, like this close, before I go. Take it with me. Whenever I’m bummed out, I can tape it to my forehead and so it looks like you’re right here. A picture of us. (He kisses her as she starts to cry. They kiss and they hug again. Then they just lie there together.)

The End
