LC: (V.O.) (Shows Christina’s birthday party) Lo and I weren’t invited to Christina’s birthday. (Shows them at the salon) So bumping into them at the nail salon the next day was a little awkward.

Lo: Were they a birthday gift?

LC: (V.O.) (Shows Christina and Morgan in New York) While they hit New York City (Shows Christina’s audition) and Christina sang her heart out, (Shows LC getting grounded) I was in Laguna, getting grounded for my bad grades.

Jim: You can’t have a grade below a C or you’re in jail so get it up.

LC: No this is you ruining my senior year.

LC: (V.O.) Lo was no help.

Lo: You shouldn’t be failing. I’m sorry.

LC: Lo you suck.

LC: (V.O.) (Shows Stephen and Kristin) But all this drama kept my mind off Stephen and Kristin.

Stephen: Standard.

LC: (V.O.) Not for long though. (Shows them in Cabo) Spring break was just around the corner and Kristin was determined to make it one we’d never forget.

CUT TO: Nail Salon

Kristin: I’m so excited for Cabo.

Alex: Me too. I’m gonna pack like tonight.

Kristin: I know, I know. Me too.

Alex: What’s the deal with you and Stephen now? Anything?

Kristin: I don’t know, no. Same as what it’s always been.

Alex: What if he hooks up with Lauren in Cabo? Would you be mad?

Kristin: Yeah but at the same time it’s Cabo you know like I’m probably gonna hook up with someone else too. I wanna hook up with Sam. Oh my god, he’s so hot.

Alex: I know.

Kristin: I know. Are you gonna hook up with anyone?

Alex: Probably not.

CUT TO: Street

LC and Jen are walking.

Jen: Someone stepped on the $200.00 straightener. I don’t put it away for once and my mom fires my maid and so I’m a little unused to you know cleaning up after myself. Lauren you gotta wait for the light.

LC: Look they stopped Jen. (They cross the street) Okay.

Jen: Okay.

LC: You’re so weird. (They go in a bikini shop) We need bathing suits for Cabo. Ooh I like that one. (Tries to get it) Oh here. (Grabs something to get it)

Jen: You’re doing the reaching sound. (Makes the sound and laughs) This is cool.

LC: Jen you’ve gotta be kidding me. Put it back.

Jen: Talk to me about Cabo. Who do you think is gonna hook up with who?

LC: You know like last year when you’re hearing about like all the Cabo hook ups? They’re always really random.

Jen: “Whatever happens in Cabo stays in Cabo”. Your quote for the newspaper.

LC: Did you seriously quote me for that?

Jen: Uh huh. Do you like this? I can’t decide.

LC: I don’t know. I have to see it all Jen.

Jen: Okay I’m gonna try this on.

LC: Okay. Now you’re not gonna get the other ones?

Jen: Well I’m gonna look.

LC: Wait who has this? Does someone have this bathing suit?

LC: Really? (Jen nods)

CUT TO: Road

Kristin, Alex, and Morgan S are walking

They go in a bikini shop

Alex: Are you guys getting bathing suits?

Kristin: Uh huh. I’m getting one for Cabo. That’s really, really, really, really cute. Oh my god I like this one a lot.

Alex: This one’s cute.

Kristin: Can I get a large top and a small bottom?

Woman: Yeah.

Kristin: Thank you so much. I’m so excited. I think that’s really cute.

Alex: Are there pink bottoms or just these little things?

Kristin: I would never be able to wear a thong.

Alex: My butt was like tan.

Kristin: Wait, wait, wait.

Woman: Do you want to start looking at a set in a room?

Kristin: All right yeah. (They go in changing rooms and try on suits. Then they go in tanning booths.)

Morgan S: (Her phone rings) Hey. What ya doing?

Kristin: (Laughs) Nothing, how’s your bed?

Morgan S: It’s fricken hot.

Kristin: I know. I’m so excited to go get a tan in Cabo.

Morgan S: Oh I’m so…oh my god.

Kristin: I was asking Stephen last night if like what he expects to happen in Cabo and he’s like “Lauren is going…”

Morgan S: Oh yeah.

Kristin: He’s like “I don’t know”. He’s like “I don’t know if all of us are gonna hang out”. I was like “What are you talking about?”

Morgan S: Are you gonna hang out with him later?

Kristin: He’s playing golf and then he’s supposed to call me.

CUT TO: Aliso Creek Golf Course

Stephen is there playing

Stephen: Yeah. (He laughs. Trey and Stephen bump fists) Nice Trey.

Trey: Dude you and LC and fricken Kristin in Cabo dude.

Dieter: You’re saying you’re not gonna hook up with LC in Cabo?

Stephen: There’s no way I’m gonna hook up with LC.

Jonathon: I just picture this kid coming up in Cabo like two black eyes.

Stephen: I don’t want that to happen.

Dieter: Okay. I’ll bet you 20 bucks right now I’m gonna be saving your ass.

Stephen: All right. Fine. (They shake on it) 50 bucks.

Dieter: You just lost 50 bucks.

CUT TO: Kristin’s

She’s packing for Cabo.

CUT TO: LC’s

She’s packing while on the phone.

Cut to; Stephen’s

He’s packing too.

CUT TO: Kristin’s

Shows her packing some more.

CUT TO: LC’s

She’s packing too still.

CUT TO: Stephen’s

He’s packing still.

CUT TO: Kristin’s

She’s closing her suitcase.

CUT TO: LC’s

She closes her suitcase and puts it on the floor

CUT TO: Stephen’s

He closes his stuff and gets his surfboard and leaves.

CUT TO: Cabo

It shows everyone arriving to Cabo.

Stephen: Yeah. Woo hoo!

Kristin: I’m going straight to the pool. Cabo guys. I wonder how close that cruise ship is.

Dieter: Hey let’s just have a big orgy. Are you guys down? Now that we’re in Cabo. (They go to their rooms.)

LC: We’ll see you guys at the pool.

Stephen: See you.

Jen: Bye.

Stephen: Remember that room number. (They go in their room) Nice room. This is rad. Such a nice room. (They go outside) Look at this view. What a view man.

CUT TO: Pool

Stephen throws Kristin out of his way. LC watches. It just shows everyone having fun at the pool. Kristin is hanging out with Sam. LC gets in the water and goes over to Stephen.

CUT TO: Kristin and Jessica’s Room

They’re getting ready to go out.

Kristin: Look how red my forehead is.

Jessica: My top is fine but my cheeks are like bright red. It looks like I have major acne or something.

Kristin: I have to turn the blow dryer on sorry. (She turns it on)

Jessica: Dieter and Stephen are both like…

Kristin: Anytime I’m having a fun time he has to like freak out about it.

Jessica: Do you think you’ll hook up with Sam tonight?

Kristin: what?

Jessica: Do you think you’ll hook up with Sam tonight?

Kristin: I have no idea.

Jessica: He’s like porn star looking or something.

CUT TO: LC’s Room

She and Jen are getting ready to go out.

Everyone is dancing and drinking.

Kristin: Hey! Sam, Sammy…This is where I did my lap dance again.

Kristin: I already gave him one.

Stephen: I can’t hang with Kristin being here, dude. It pisses me off more than anything. She’s so stupid, it’s sad. (Kristin gets up on a pole + starts dancing. Stephen gets really mad. He goes over to her) What the f**k is your deal bitch? Hey, get up on the bar. You look real good slut!

Kristin: Get off!

Stephen: Keep going? No, no seriously. I can get so much better than you I don’t even care. I feel so sorry for you. (She tries to walk away but he won’t let her)

Stephen: Look at you slut! Oh, my God! (She walks away. She waves at Sam. He goes over to her.)

Kristin: Sam! (She dances with him)

Stephen: Dude, I’ve got to get out of here. (LC goes over to him)

LC: It’s not necessary right now. It’s not necessary…(Stephen watches Kristin and Sam, looking upset. Then Kristin and Sam starting making out))

Stephen: Slut! (He goes over to her) Don’t even f**king try to go out on me. You and me, completely done. You are such a f**king h**.

Kristin: And I’m trying…

Stephen: Oh my gosh Sam, oh my gosh Sam, I’m such a slut. F**king hook up with me. You look so good. Keep dancing on the bar slut. (He walks away)

CUT TO: The Next Day – Outside

Stephen: What happened after we left last night?

Stephen: I was so annoyed by her when we were walking. She just bugs me.

Dieter: I just think we should go out not with her tonight.

LC: Can we please, no offense Stephen, just look at her, I mean she’s wearing a skirt and a little thong and she’s up there on the pole. She knows that’s slutty.

Stephen: It got to the point where I saw her up there and I was just like…it was like idiot. I feel bad for her ‘cause like she’s a cool girl and all and she like wastes herself. It’s so f**king hard. I had like the best times and the worst times of my life.

CUT TO: Laguna Beach

LC and Kristin’s dads are talking

Dennis: Have you heard from the girls down in Mexico?

Jim: Yeah, just a quick we made it. It’s sunny, it’s warm. We’re gonna go out and tear it up tonight.

Dennis: Now I’m really comforted. (Jim laughs) ‘Cause I haven’t heard from Kristin.

Jim: Well what I asked Lauren to do as a favor to me, to really just kind of, you know sort of trade off being Mom with the others because…

Dennis: That’s good advice.

Jim: My feeling is when she turns 18, she ‘s an adult.

Dennis: Yeah.

Jim: She’ll make her own decisions.

Dennis: Yeah. I’m trying to reel my daughter back in.

Jim: Yeah.

Dennis: You’re pushing her out the door.

CUT TO: Cabo

Kristin is going to the pool. LC is on the beach. Stephen is on a boat.

Stephen and his friends go to a island.

Stephen: Oh my god. (They try to get out the boat) Oh no! So close. Whoa, whoa, whoa. (They get out of the boat) Dude I got like

launched. Oh my god. Dude that is a knarly break right there.

Guy: So many people have died here.

Stephen: So sketchy, it’s so close to us dude. Oh my god.

Guy: Dude how are you gonna skin that?

Stephen: Look at this set. (He goes in the water)

CUT TO: The hotel

Jessica and Kristin are doing their hair.

Jessica: So I was talking about you at breakfast and Stephen’s like “Can we just not talk about her anymore?” And I was like…

Kristin: He came up to me in the pool today and apologized and I actually thought to let him have it. But then I was like “Ooh, I felt bad”.

Jessica: I saw you guys.

Kristin: I was like “Get out of my life”. And he was like…(Kristin gasps)

Jessica: I was there when you said that. And I was like “Kristin!”

Kristin: And I was like “I’m sorry”.

Jessica: Well like you don’t want him out of your life, but you want

him out of the part where like he doesn’t belong, you know? He has no right to say…

Kristin: If you want to be my friend, fine. But like this bull s**t that you do, I’m not okay with.

Jessica: Yeah.  Do you think you’ll be hanging out with Stephen tonight?

Kristin: I don’t know.

Jessica: Do you think he’ll be in a jealous rage again?

Kristin: With Stephen, you never know.

CUT TO: A restaurant.

Everyone is eating there. They make a toast.

LC: (Stephen is drinking a lot) Stephen, Stephen, Stephen, Stephen, slow down. (They get their food) No Stephen, you wanna eat that with it. Stephen, Stephen, buddy. I’m gonna make you a little plate so you don’t eat off mine, k?

Kristin: Try it.

Guy: You’re gonna feed me?

Kristin: Yeah. Oh my god. (Stephen looks at Kristin and she gives him a fake smile)

Stephen: Are we gonna watch a movie tonight?

LC: Am I?

Stephen: No, are we?

LC: There’s no movies.

Stephen: No seriously, I’m just gonna stay with you and just chill while you’re…

LC: Are you serious?

Stephen: You don’t want to go out, so I’ll just hang.

LC: No, are you kidding me?

Stephen: The sound of your voice makes me want to stay.

LC: The sound of my voice? (She kisses him on the cheek. Kristin watches. Then he kisses her on the cheek)

 

Stephen mouths I love you to Kristin. Kristin rolls her eyes at him.

Stephen gets up. He and LC leave together.

CUT TO: The Beach

LC and Stephen are walking together.

Stephen: I had fun last night. I had fun at dinner last night and stuff. Thank you so much for taking care of me.

LC: It’s okay.

Stephen: That was so bro of you.

LC: I know you would have done the same for me.

Stephen: It’s weird that like senior year everyone becomes good friends again.

LC: So many of the senior girls have hooked up with senior guys and they were all so un-predictable. Like…like what?

Stephen: I don’t know.

LC: What was that?

Stephen: It’s been damn un-predictable. It’s so weird.

LC: We are gonna have so much fun next year because…

Stephen: I know, I know.

LC: Like when they ask me where I’m going to school I’m like “San Francisco” and every single person says “I love it there”.

Stephen: Yeah, you’ll be like my roommate though. You’re gonna be with me a lot.

LC: I’m actually really stoked to have you there.

Stephen: I know.

LC: ‘Cause like I don’t fight with you. If I do we make up.

Stephen: Oh yeah. We fight. It’s always just like fun. It’s only friendly fighting.

LC: No it’s not.

Stephen: It’s like when I came into the room.

LC: I have gotten in fight with you.

Stephen: Yeah, yeah, yeah. It’s kind of been a rough year.

LC: I don’t think it’s ever my fault. It’s always you.

Stephen: Had to have been your fault. It’s always your fault. Everything was your fault.

LC: It is my fault?

Stephen: Yeah.

LC: Did I make you lie to me so many times? I’m just kidding.

Stephen: I can’t believe we’re going home today. Spring break went by so fast.

LC: Yeah. Back to reality.

CUT TO: Laguna Beach – A Restaurant

Morgan S: Kristin, the first night you were there…(They all laugh)

Kristin: Stephen was all mad because I wasn’t hanging out with him, you know?

Alex: Did you guys like end it? Like talking? Well like obviously, are you like good?

Kristin: We left Cabo not really good and he was in sending me text messages on Sunday. Like, I don’t know.

CUT TO: Trey’s House

Guy: So how was Cabo?

Dieter: Seriously like, if you hear about this…

Stephen: I was just there like passed out. I don’t know what happened.

Guy: When you woke up was she there?

Stephen: No she left at 10. I still slept in.

CUT TO: Restaurant

Kristin: He expected me to be all like all over it and like “Stephen…”

Morgan S: I thought he was mad because you were hooking up with Sam.

Kristin: Well yeah that’s what I mean. ‘Cause I wasn’t with him, I was with Sam, you know? (Kristin and Morgan S laugh)

Alex: But like you can’t get made at him for hooking up with Lauren.

Kristin: Yeah. He’s such a hypocrite.

CUT TO: Trey’s

Stephen: I made that bed with so much good intentions. You all know what happened…

Trey: You gotta clarify that.

Stephen: I don’t know like the whole Kristin, Lauren thing, trying to go back in forth.

Guy: Stephen triangle. Never ends.

CUT TO: A shop

Lo: So you never hooked up with Stephen?

LC: Lo! (Lo laughs)

Lo: Yes, it is gonna be your little secret?

CUT TO: Beach

Stephen is thinking before surfing. We hear the voices of Stephen, LC, + Kristin.

Stephen: (V.O.) There are some things I wish I could take back.

LC: (V.O.) At one time I did regret everything.

Kristin: (V.O.) (We see Kristin as she talks) So you were at

Lauren’s house. You just lied to me.

LC: (V.O.) (Shows her talking to him at the bonfire) Does it have to do with wanting someone else?

Stephen: (V.O.) (Shows him yelling at Kristin in Cabo) You look so good. Keep dancing on the bar slut.

LC: (V.O.) (At the bonfire) If you wanted someone you could have them. (Stephen goes in the water)
