    What's New on May 2003?

       30. May 2003:

        E-Flash: YES
        ◈ Info:
      • OK guys, budget is tight. So I'm gonna have to cut back 2 of the 5 Smallville CD-Roms to win in the Contest. The site's getting very big and requires lots of bandwidth so I'm not sure I'll be able to handle 5 worldwide shipping costs and the expense of the growing bandwidth at the same time. Sorry but I really have no other choice on this one.
        Attic:
      • Added Felicity 4.20 (Spin The Bottle).
      • Added Higher Ground 1.06 (Crossroads).
      • Added Higher Ground 1.11 (Best Behavior).
      • Added Quantum Leap 4.15 (A Song For The Soul).
      • Added Walker, Texas Rangers 3.06 (Rainbow Warrior).
        ◈ Members Only:

      • Added Smallville.
      • Added Wonder Years, the (Uncut).
        ◈ Note:
      • Now that's a funny one. I received this yesterday, check it out: "Hello. I am a big fan of Gilmore Girls and I missed the Season Finale of the third season. Please send me as soon as possible a VHS or DVD copy of this episode. Thanks". OK first I think it's totally inappropriate to ask me for that kind of favor. Second, as I have already said it, I DO NOT have any episode on tapes, let alone on DVD. At last, even if I had, do you really think I would spend money and time sending a VHS (or a DVD for Pete's sake!) to every person who asks for it? You need to be serious in your requests guys cause I have barely the money to keep the site online. I also remind everyone that TWIZ TV is a transcripts website based in France (which means that I don't get American channels and that we don't use NTSC but PAL VHS system here anyway), and that our thing is TV Scripts, period. So please waiste your time asking me for that kind of favor. Wish I could help but I really I can't.
        ◈ Reminder:
      • If you'd like to support the site, and God knows we need a load of it, then you can consider making a donation via PayPal (check out the link on our homepage). Paypal is the best way because 100% of the money goes to the site. You can also click one of of our sponsors, AllPosters.com and Amazon.com, and make a purchase, we get a (very) small free for every purchase you make. Any help is greatly appreciated.
        ◈ Thank You:
      • To Ravin for his/her Paypal donation.
      • To Kanesha for letting me know about the Jake 2.0 download.
        ◈ TV News:
      • OK, I don't know if we can trust this one but it's a heck of a spoiler here: in the season 3 of 24 Jack will have 24 hours to save President Palmer's life. He will have to find the antidote for the virus that has infected him at the end of season 2, which one has a 100% mortality rate after a 24 hours incubation period. And lo and behold, the minor storyline will not involve Kim. Now that's a relief considering the crappy storylines she had this season.

        ◈ Review:
      • Seen the pilot of UPN's Jack 2.0 today, just downloaded from the web. I have to say that at first I wasn't expecting much given the subject of the series (a geek is infected with nanotechnology and is given kind of super powers) and I thought it would be some Sentinel kind of show, with lame plots and bad acting. Thing is, I really liked it. More than that, I'm actually excited about it. Well, as long as they keep the same level of quality anyway. Because, let's face it, Sci-fi shows are usually crappy but Jack 2.0 was really well-written for a change. The story was well-managed and kept me interested from the beginning to the end. I actually quickly cared for Jack as he's just a regular John Doe who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. So you can easily identify with the character. And without a doubt you sure can sense the touch of ex-Miracles/Angel' showrunner David Greenwalt, always a sign a quality. He's an asset for the show and the fact of him working on Jack 2.0 makes me think that we have some good fun ahead of us. Actors were also great (well except that Sarah girl but it's not that important), especially the lead guy, Christopher Gorham. I didn't know him at all, I read that he used to play in Popular, show I never watched, but I liked him. He has this geek/cute/boy-next-door look going on for him that makes him perfect for the role. So to sum up let's say that what I've just seen was quite promising and I'll sure tune in to see the following episodes next fall. I just hope they'll keep that degree of quality. I'll probably write a full review/summary of this pilot or even transcribe it in days to come and post it for a members-only access. So subscribe to the newsletter to become a member if you're interested in reading it. I give the pilot of Jack 2.0 a 8 out of 10 rating. That's quite a lot for a UPN show :-)
        ◈ TV News:
      • Check out the latest TV Guide interview of Joss Whedon about Charisma Carpenter leaving Angel. Access it here.

       27. May 2003:

        E-Flash: YES
        ◈ Info:
      • Today is the anniversary of a tragic event: fifteen years ago to this day the last episode ever of Punky Brewster was aired. I know, it came as a shock for all of us. So to commemorate this tragedy you can read some great Punky transcripts and/or download the theme of the show here.
        All-New:
      • Added Frasier 10.22 (Father And Sons).
        Attic:
      • Added Punky Brewster 1.08 (A Visit To The Doctor).

      • Guys don't forget to subscribe to the newsletter when entering the Smallville Contest. You won't be able to win of you're not a member of the Community.
        ◈ TV News:
      • Looks like Lara Flynn Boyle and Dylan McDermott's decision to leave The Practice was not their own. They were just fired. The removal came as a complete shock to themselves and the cast and crew because they were only expecting paycuts. The actors were axed from the show last week by producer David E. Kelley after a season of declining ratings.

       26. May 2003:

       24. May 2003:

        E-Flash: NO
        ◈ Info:
      • You might be experiencing slowdown problems or short downtimes with the site. The reason is our Datacenter provider has reached its maximum limit and we are waiting for them to get a new oc-12 line installed which is expected for mid next week. So sorry for the inconvenience guys.
        ◈ Note:
      • I know, the opening of the Pilots Zone was supposed to be great yesterday because 150 pilots were supposed to be available at the same time. Thing is only half of them were. The main reason is that I've been busy lately so I missed time to work on the remaining ones. But don't you worry I'll be adding them on a daily basis starting tomorrow. So every show indicated as coming soon on the Pilots Zone will be added within the next few days (a handful of them will be added during the summer though as I'll be transcribing them myself). So it's one more reason for you to visit us again.

       23. May 2003:

        E-Flash: YES
        ◈ Info:
      • Happy Birthday to us. Today's our 3-Months Anniversary. I'd like to take a few seconds to thank those of you who sent messages of support over the past three months. It really meant a great deal. I have only one thing to say now: stick with us because, lo and behold, we're just getting started here...
        ◈ Anniversary Special:
      • Launching of TWIZ TV' Smallville Contest. Enter our contest and win an exclusive TWIZ TV-made Smallville CD-Rom including the pilot of the series.

      • Added Friends 9.22 (The One With The Donor)

      • Added Friends 9.24 - SEASON FINALE 2 (The One In Barbados 2)
        ◈ Members Only:
      • Download Harry Potter And The Order Of Phoenix. Not sure if it's the real deal though. To access it use the link provided in today's E-Flash.
        ◈ Misc:
      • If, like yours truly, you didn't quite fully understand the (boring) dialogue between Neo and the Architect in The Matrix Reloaded, then check out the transcript of the dialogue here. It just might explain what you didn't get.
        Pilots:
      • Added A-Team, the.
      • Added C.S.I.
      • Added Daria (Unaired).
      • Added Dark Angel.
      • Added Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman.

      • And much much more... But note that I missed time to work on the other shows indicated in the Pilots Zone so they will be added on a daily basis, starting tomorrow.
        ◈ Reminder:
      • Like the site? Please consider making a donation. We seriously starts to need a hell of lot of bandwidth and if we keep growing that way we definitely can expect downtimes because we won't be able to pay for the huge amount of bandwidth that is ahead of us. So we need you to keep the site running. How to help? Make a donation with PayPal via the link in your homepage or click one of of our sponsors, AllPosters.com and Amazon.com, and make a purchase. Any help is greatly appreciated.
        ◈ TV News:

       22. May 2003:

        E-Flash: NO
        ◈ Info:
      • The remaining Gilmore Girls transcripts are coming soon (transcriber has computer-related problems so she's not able to work on the show at the moment), probably in a couple of weeks. In the meantime if you really can't wait you can take a look at the Television Without Pity reviews of the show. Just click here. I don't really like the T.W.P reviews though because the people who wrote them are always too self-involved and talk about everything but the episode but it's the only complete summaries that I have found so far. So it's always better than nothing.
        ◈ TV News:
      • The Practice does return next season but half the cast is not. Dylan McDermot and Kelli Williams are leaving, along with Lara Flynn Boyle, Marla Sokoloff, Lisa Gay Hamilton and Chyler Leigh. McDermot is expected to guest-star in a couple of episodes though. Series creator David E. Kelley says "economic and creative realities" forced the cast shakeup. ABC reportedly picked up the show for 2003-04 on the condition that its $6.5 million-per-episode license fee be sharply reduced. The show will enter its eighth season in its old Sunday timeslot with a core cast of Camryn Manheim, Steve Harris and Michael Badalucco. Of course new faces will be added but the show won't, without a doubt, survive the departure of its leading characters.

       21. May 2003:

        E-Flash: NO
        ◈ Info:
      • As you know, Buffy, the Vampire Slayer is officially over. I would like to take a few seconds to mourn what have been a wonderful, unpredictable and original show. Although I was not quite happy with the storyline this season I will, and I'm sure you all will, miss this increbile and dedicated cast, that talented group of writers, and above all, the fun we had every Tuesday nights.
        ◈ All-New:
      • Added Chosen, Buffy SERIES FINALE Original Shooting Draft.
        ◈ Opinion:
      • Seen The Matrix Reloaded yesterday. Definitely worth the wait. It's kinda complicated though if you're not 100% into the Matrix. As usual some great CGI-stuff but a lot of them sucked big time. Computer-generated Keanu was so obvious. And boy, too much boring dialogues scenes in this movie (some characters just went on and on and on...). Plus a never-ending dance sequence that was totally pointless. But at least the story was as good and original as the first one. Well except for the end. It was just a X-files end of season cliffhanger. I expected more. I give the movie a 7 out of 10 rating. With a special 10 out of 10 for Carrie Ann Moss, absolutely perfect as usual. Waiting for T3: Rise Of The Machines now. Oh yeah, and The Hulk too. I like The Hulk. I used to run butt-naked my whole body paint in green. Seriously. But that was a long time ago. I've sure grown up since last year.

       20. May 2003:

        E-Flash: NO
        ◈ All-New:
      • Added Friends 9.20 (The One With The Soap Opera Party).
      • Added Smallville 2.22 - SEASON FINALE PART. 1 (Calling).
        ◈ Movie Trailers:
      • Watch L'Auberge Espagnole.
      • Watch Freddy vs. Jason.
      • Watch Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde.
      • Watch T3: Rise Of The Machines.
      • Watch The Hulk.
        ◈ Opinion:
      • Seen Buffy Series Finale yesterday, thanks to BitTorrent. I won't spoil it cause it's really a must-see but I must say that I was a tad disappointed. It was not that great, it didn't really look like a finale. I expected a lot more than that honestly. I mean we have waited 22 episodes for a 10 minutes end-of-the-world battle. It's a really long wait for what we get if you ask me. But this season has been kind of a disappointment all along anyway. As for Angel, his 3 minutes gig on the finale did not worth the wait either. It was kind of pointless. But, for us fans, it was great to have him back though. The end of the series leaves the door totally open for a movie franchise à la Star Trek, and that is the best thing about this finale.

      • Updated TWIZ TV Links Zone.
      • Updated TWIZ TV TV News & Spoilers.
        ◈ Reminder:
      • Looks like I have to remind everyone that TWIZ TV is a France-based website, which means that I do not get American channels, which means that nope, sorry, I do not have any episodes on tapes. Hell, most of them don't even have aired yet here. So please do not waste your time asking me for the tape of an episode you missed. Really no can do. Just use the magic word: Kazaa.

       18. May 2003:

        E-Flash: NO
        ◈ Info:
      • I might post the latest Harry Potter, Harry Potter And The Order Of Phoenix on Thursday for a members only access. So subscribe to the newsletter if you haven't done it already to access it. Not sure if it's the real deal though.

       17. May 2003:

        E-Flash: YES
        ◈ Info:
      • The WB definitely aired the last of it but Dawson's Creek is not over on TWIZ TV just yet. The site will post transcripts for past seasons of the show during what I like to call "the never-ending-waiting-for-Alias-season-3-summer".
        ◈ All-New:

      • Added Working 1.16 (As Good As It Gets).
      • Added Who's The Boss? 1.22 (First Kiss).
        ◈ Movies:
      • Added American Pie.
      • Added Blair Witch Project.
      • Added Cast Away.
      • Added Cruel Intentions.
      • Added X-Men.
        ◈ Pilots:
      • Added Brimstone
      • Added Buffy, the Vampire Slayer
      • Added Northern Exposure
      • Added Prey
      • Added Transformers
      • Since the Pilots Zone opens next week (May 23, 2003) there will be no new pilots added till then.
        ◈ Note:
      • Sorry but no, unfortunately, I do not have special powers. Not yet at least. So please don't email me asking for the name of that song you heard for 30 seconds in this episode of that show. I'm really no psychic so I just don't know that kind of information.
        ◈ TV News:
      • Dawson's Creek finale was nothing less than a smashing hit. The two-hours fawrewell episode was the highest rating in all The WB history.
      • UPN and CBS announced their fall schedule on Thurday. UPN cancelled Platinum and, of course, Buffy, the Vampire Slayer. The network will add only one new drama next season, Jack 2.0, about a computer technician who gets superpowers through the wonders of nanotechnology and becomes an NSA agent (don't ask). The show will follow Entreprise. The rest of the schedule is just boring comedies. Trust UPN to air real crap, that's what they do best. As for CBS, besides CSI and Without A Trace, their schedule's not worth much either. Gone forever are The Agency, Presidio Med and Touched By An Angel (big cheers here). Coming back are Jag, Judging Amy, CSI: Miami and that annoying Raymond guy. Only hope for next season is the new David E. Kelley show about three brothers. Sounds like a Girls Club with guys.

       16. May 2003:

        E-Flash: NO
        ◈ Info:
      • Transcript for the second part of the Dawson's Creek big finale will be posted early saturday. Sorry for the delay.
        ◈ Note:
      • The site has been unreachable for almost a full hour yesterday. Sorry for the inconvience. Can't promise it won't happen again. That kind of shit happens from time to time. So just bear with us when it does.
        ◈ TV News:
      • Fox unveiled its fall schedule yesterday. Sad news is that after a promising season finale John Doe won't be back next season, along with Andy Richter and Fastlane. Definitely coming back are Malcolm In The Middle, That '70s Show (Kelso-free?), Boston Public, 24 and of course the Simpsons for their 15th season. New dramas will be added, among them the one Eliza Dushku turns the Faith spinoff down for. And, of course, Fox being Fox, more and more Real-TV crap will be aired. Damn you Murdoch! Damn you!

       15. May 2003:

        E-Flash: NO
        ◈ All-New:
      • Added Dawson's Creek 6.23 - SERIES FINALE (1) (All Good Things...).
      • Added Everwood 1.18 (The Unveiling).
      • Added Everwood 1.20 (Moonlight Sonata - Incomplete).
        ◈ Misc:
      • Added Dawson's Creek Original Theme (Elsewhere - Jann Arden). Mp3 posted on the site for a limited time only. You can download the theme here.
        ◈ Note:
      • I need to clarify one thing: I will NEVER post transcripts for Real-TV shows on the site. I HATE Real-TV, it's boring, it's fake, it's everything but real and entertaining. Hell, it's no even TV. So please stop emailing me to know if I'm gonna post transcripts for Bachelor, Survivor or other crap like that on the site. That will never, ever, happen. I'd rather watch a Birds Of Prey marathon than posting Real-TV transcripts. And God knows how much I hate BOP.
        ◈ TV News:
      • The WB announced its fall schedule yesterday. Good news is that Angel is definitely coming back and will benefit from its new lead-in Smallville which moves from Tuesday to Wednesday. Noticeably MIA are the two shows starring the men in Rory's life. The Gilmore spinoff centered around Milo Ventimiglia's Jess is postponed until midseason while Young MacGyver starring Jared Padalecki seems to be DOA. Coming back are 7th Heaven, Everwood, Charmed, Gilmore Girls and JKX. Farewell to Black Sash, Sabrina and, of course, Dawson's Creek. New shows will be added, as usual lots of boring comedies, one Alias-like drama starring Rachael Leigh Cook and the revival of Tarzan à la MTV. Sounds as good as BOP.

      • ABC unveiled its fall schedule yesterday. None of the dramas launched this season are returning (still mourning Miracles here). Gone too are Drew Carey, Lost At Home, and Push Nevada. Big news is that The Practice does come back next fall in its sunday timeslot. Coming back are 8 Simple Rules, NYPD Blue, Dragnet, the Bachelor/ette and of course my precious Alias. More comedies will be added to the already comedy-packed network with the revival of TGIF. Besides my precious, ABC is one boring network I tell you that. Come on people, don't you realize that Real-TV sucks?

Cancelled for good are A.U.S.A, Just Shoot Me (it's about time), Watching Ellie, Providence and Mister Sterling (best NBC drama of the season). Coming back are Third Watch, American Dreams, Scrubs, Law & Order and Co, and of course ER and The West Wing. Plus it will be the farewell season for both Friends and Frasier. At last, six news show have been picked up and Whoopi is expected to get her own comedy. The thought of Whoopi getting her own sitcom is a joke by itself.

       7. May 2003:

        ◈ All-New:
      • Added Firefly 1.11 - SERIES FINALE (Serenity, Part. 1).
      • Added Firefly 1.12 - SERIES FINALE (Serenity, Part. 2).
        ◈ Opinion:
      • Seen Igby Goes Down today. Kieran Culkin made a hell of a performance. The movie is sarcastic, witty, funny, subtle, sad, and all that. The supporting cast is also amazing (how cool to see My So-Called Life's Claire Danes 10 years older). To sum up, it's good U.S cinema, well good independant U.S cinema at least. So I give the movie a 7 out of 10 rating. Still waiting for The Matrix Reloaded and counting.

       3. May 2003:

        ◈ Opinion:
      • Seen X2: X-Men United today. Way better than the first one. The story was really good and the new X-Men quite entertaining. Not enough action scenes for me though. I really wanted a big X-Men fight. Maybe in the third installment. I'm not even a big X-Men fan, hell I don't even read comics. But I had a good time. So I give the movie a 7 out of 10 rating. Waiting for The Matrix Reloaded now.

      • Added Everwood 1.16 (My Funny Valentine).
        ◈ Opinion:
      • It's official, Buffy, the Vampire Slayer sucks. The show definitely jumped the shark this season. It's really time to call it off. Crappy storylines and boring episodes all season long. I really really miss my Scooby Gang.
